Vila Gale Marina

hotel is nice,food was great omg fantastic,personal are very friendly Victor,Bruno,Nuno,Sara,Jardel,Svetlana number 1 sorry if i forgot for someone but staffs doing great job,cant complain all was great closed beach,shopps,and again food was absolutely perfect,we will be back again there stay safe lads ans see u soon.Martina,Maros,Sofia

I requested a ground or level one floor and it was fulfilled the room was clean and spacious but a bit dark also one of the lamps didn’t work but that didn’t take away from it. The breakfast was nice and if some thing was not there staff where on hand to get for you, the marina was literally a two minute walk which was amazing ( photo below to show how close) The pool staff (hol rep) were AMAZING migel, silla and theigo really got everyone involved in the pool activities and wore nice and chatty every day. all was good and I would return to this hotel again happily

The pool had some dirt coming off the tiles around it which had some bits floating in the pool or if u leaned on it it would go on your bikini, there was quite a few ants in our room also and the beds wore a bit hard and uncomfortable. None of this would take away from our stay at this hotel.

Breakfast was delicious once we got through. Annoying that we had a 10min queue to be seated though. Pool area was lovely playing good music for atmosphere. There’s a fab bar snack menu and choice of cocktails. The Marina was so close with a great choice of bars and restaurants. There were two beaches, one 5mins walk away and the other was 15mins walk away

The rooms were a little dated and the beach towels were a bit tatty but glad they supply these. Overall everything was good for the price and the wonderful location on the marina. So much choice for restaurants serving good food. Not any bars with dance floor except a karaoke bar.

We had a junior suite, which was a great size. Very clean and modern and such a good location. Pool area was large and very clean including the pool. The food and drinks menu was extensive and good value for money considering the location of the hotel. Great facilities in the hotel..the staff couldn't do enough for you. Very polite, friendly, and welcoming.

Guests saving sunbeds first thing in the morning and not returning to them late morning. The swimming pool area is short of sun until late morning. The towels should be taken off the sunbeds by members of staff. If you come down late morning, you pretty much stand no/little chance of finding a sunbed. If you do, you won't be in the sun until early afternoon! We stayed at the front of the hotel facing the marina. At around 6am, the bin men turn up, put it this way, you don't need an alarm clock!!!!

location amazing 2 minutes to the marina. very clean and room was spacious. reception staff very friendly and welcoming. pool area was nice size. inside barman excellent.

Pool bar staff very slow and rude, told me and another guest to move to a line which we did then proceeded to serve other people who were stood where I was originally stood. A new staff member behind the bar was unsure of a drink ordered and the lady in charge was really abrupt to her I actually felt sorry for her as she was clearly new to the job. maybe needs a baby pool as quite busy with stag party’s and little children were not seen by them.

We enjoyed our stay at this beautiful hotel in February, when the exterior amenities like the pool, hot-tub, exterior bar/restaurant were closed. That didn't affect us, because our two-night mission was the explore the Vilamoura marina area, and surrounding areas. So we didn't spend much time in the hotel, but the time there was enjoyable. There's a lovely small park, directly opposite the entry to the hotel.

The parking on a narrow drive circling the hotel was very limited. I would worry about free parking availability in the warmer season. The entry to the hotel faces away from the Marina, the main attraction of the area. So, most people have to walk on that narrow parking/drive on either side of the hotel to get to that attraction. Noisy major construction was going-on in an adjacent hotel during our stay. The layout of the tables in the breakfast area needs attention.

Car parking facilities available. Compared to other villa gales, breakfast was good. Excellent location by the marina. Pool area was nice. Sun loungers were comfortable. Standard rooms have two beds pushed together for a double but we got upgraded to have a double bed.

Pillows are very high so uncomfortable for me. Perhaps a second staff member at omelette station as there was a long queue but not the end of the world. reception area is old fashioned but our room was fine. Hand soap and that 'shampoo/ shower gel' mixture are the only toiletries provided.

Room with sea view Pool side activities by Activity coordinator called Seela Seela is a very friendly guy and did good stretching activities and poolside dance based exercises. David Oliverio in reception was very friendly and helpful The restaurant staff were super good and friendly. The food was great. Dinner choices were fantastic. Breakfast was good especially the omelettes. Will definitely recommend to friends.

Coffee making facilities in room with a small kettle would have been better.

The location of this hotel is second to none. I love the view from the balcony, overlooking the marina, especially at night. I even like the depth of the pool!

I’ve stayed here three times, 2009,2019 and 2023. The property feels dated - I’m not sure anything has been modernised since pre 2009. The coffee at the breakfast buffet is awful. I’ve always disliked the way you have to walk out of reception and around the hotel to get to the marina. It would be much better if an entrance was provided from the road outside

The location. It wasn’t too busy and had everything we needed. Also allowed us to check out late which made life much easier. Housekeeping came to room daily with fresh towels and general tidy.

Outdated, in need of modernisation. No footpath access to main road/shops Indoor leisure area is definitely in need of attention. pool not very deep at all and no body wash/shampoo/conditioner available. outdoor pool area didn’t get much sun but that’s the time of year/season not the hotels fault but don’t intend on spending the whole day at the same spot beside the pool if you want continual sun. Room walls are very thin, glad there was not many people on our floor or people who talked 😉
