Vilamoura Garden Hotel

Enjoyed my stay here! The staff are very friendly and go above and beyond. Breakfast was included and they had Gluten Free bread available which made eating much easier for me. The beds were comfortable and the rooms were spacious. Just a short walk to the Hilton to grab a shuttle to the Marina and back. The pool is small and cold but it was quiet on the sunbeds which was really relaxing.

Such a beautiful hotel!! We received a free upgrade to the master suite which was so lovely. The pool facility was very comfortable and had the perfect amount of shade and sun with good quality sun beds and umbrellas. The reception staff were lovely and helpful. The restaurant served amazing food which we were very pleased with. Not sure if they have recently had a large turn over of staff but the service in the restaurant was incredibly sub-par for a place of this calibre.

The service in the restaurant was poor. They all looked quite new so we were understanding but it was a bit disappointing. Don't let this turn you off, our stay was incredible apart from this one let down.

Very good value, clean and tidy throughout. The breakfast was excellent. Courtesy bus to and from the marina was an unexpected bonus as it is just a little to far to walk especially in the evening

Heating provided in the room but not in the bathroom.

- room - bed - pillows - bathroom - breakfast was nice - swimming pool area (in low season) - lobby comfortable - silence in room

- the most awful coffe for breakfast in all my life. Really think that administration has to try it and change it. Coffee for payment was not so bad, but 2.5€ for espresso it's unbelievable. - when we had Chek-in, receptions didn't said that actually we could use SPA in 5* hotel just for 10€ - all receptionists spend too much time in them smartphones during works days. - further on balcony in our room was really dirty

Excellent hotel, fantastic staff and lovely large room with balcony overlooking the pool. We got a room upgrade on arrival, 2 rooms and a nice bathroom and 2 balconies overlooking the pool. Restaurant was nice and the breakfast was excellent.

Groups of golfers stay here as it is mainly a golf resort. Can be a bit noisy at times, mainly at breakfast and later on at night. Other times it was so peaceful we had the pool area to ourselves at times. I would definitely recommend Vilamoura Garden Hotel for a great stay.

The rooms were super comfy and everything was very accessible. Nothing is a problem to the staff. Sabin was very helpful on the front desk any day we needed help. The breakfast was a great start every morning and it was a 20 minute walk from the marina. There is a shuttle bus that runs every hour from 7-10pm to and from the marina which is brilliant. Would stay again!!

Excellent hotel, relatively quiet when we were there, which was a bonus. Room good size with balcony (well actually 2 balconies), all staff very pleasant and polite. Breakfast very good. Got Uber's everywhere, only 4 Euros to the Marina/beach (about 25 mins walk) and 15 Euros to Albufeira, so hotel well positioned. Plenty of restaurants nearby and lots more at the marina and surrounding area. Nothing bad to say about our stay

Everything! Staff very professional and welcoming. Both at reception and at restaurant and open bar. The room was very comfortable and the room service was great. There was a printer available at reception, which was handy. Breakfast was lovely too.

Garden and swimming pool area is quite small for the size of the hotel. Can get busy at times. Also, the gym has no windows, which results in a build up of odour.

I booked a trip away with family for my birthday and Vilamoura Garden Hotel exceeded expectations. The staff here are amazing and make everything so easy. My family had organised a cake for my birthday which they made, also gave champagne which was at no extra cost to us, the staff also sang happy birthday at breakfast! The location is about 25 minutes walk from the marina which is where the main restaurants are, there is a free shuttle bus from the Hilton over the road but we couldn't figure out how to use it, there is an app similar to Uber called 'Freenow' which makes getting a taxi really easy. Would stay here again!

Breakfast was buffet, lots of choice, fresh fruit, breads, toasting and microwave facilities, with cooked foods too. Food overall was very very good, always fresh and well prepared. Hotel was spotlessly clean too and staff were great with families. We needed an additional bed in our room, it was supplied with no problems and was perfect.

They can’t change location, it’s about 20 mins walk from the hotel to Vilamoura centre, so you need to have a car rented or be happy to use buses or taxis. A free shuttle runs frequently past the hotel, but I didn’t manage to get it, it was never around when I wanted it. But I would tell everyone to stay at this hotel.
