Hotel Quarteirasol

Quarteira is a compact resort town by the sea, which means it is easy to walk to most attractions (in this case, the beaches); if you must go by car, parking is free everywhere, and there seems to be enough for everyone. The hotel itself is close to the beach, and some bedrooms (like ours) boast great views of the ocean. The bedroom was spacious and comfortable and included a balcony from which we enjoyed the sunset.

There was a window we could not close in the bathroom, which could use a makeover (in fairness, though, we did not raise this issue with the hotel). The breakfast room could also do with some redecorating.

Excellent location. Breakfast was excellent with a good range of hot and cold food. Whilst we didn't eat lunch or dinner at the hotel, the restaurant was usually busy. Staff were very pleasant and helpful. The rooms were clean, comfortable and quiet.

Some of the furnishings, whilst clean, were tired. The shower head had been replaced with an inferior one. The toilet seat was chipped. The hall carpet outside the lift was stained. Lift interiors are in need of refurbishment.

The facility is in great location - the ocean is just around the corner. The ocean view was stunning every morning. All the stuff is very nice - starting from front desk, guys in the restaurant and the cleaning girls. Everyone is very helpful. We travelled with a 5 month old baby and everything was just perfect for us. Spent there a week. The rooms are cleaned on a daily basis which is very rare. We had a half board option and it was a great idea. I was a bit afraid what it is gonna be as couldnt find a menu online but nothing to worry about. Good selection for breakfast and dinner. Every day different dinner to pick from. Great work guys! Thank you

Didn't get a room with a balcony 🤣

Everything about this hotel was perfect! The staff were so lovely and helpful. The breakfast was great food, no hassle (I.e. you didn’t need to wait to be seated or wait to be served). The room was fabulous, the bed was comfortable; great wardrobe space for all your belongings (even space to hide away your suitcases); the view of the sea was stunning; the balcony was small but great for chilling on; the bathroom was very big and the facilities were cleaned everyday as well as being in great condition. The location of the hotel was brilliant, only a 3min walk to the beach but behind enough buildings that cancelled out the noise of late night music and parties on the beach strip of restaurants. There was nothing I didn’t like about this hotel!

Absolutely nothing!

Location was perfect. Right next to the beach and the bus station is right across the road. Many shops and restaurants (Alphonsos does great food)very close by. We had a Smart tv in our room so we could watch Netflix etc from our phones. The rooms were very clean. The maid gave us extra coat hangers as we only had a few. Was a nice touch getting bottles of water in our room everyday.

No kettle in the room.

The room on the 8th floor was very good with somewhat unrestricted views of the sea and beaches. The location of the hotel I thought was excellent 100 mts from the beach. Easy access to taxis and local transport and large supermarkets.

The only downside of our stay was the breakfast. Althought I must admit there qwas plenty of choice, the cooked food in the hot plates was cold. Eating cold bacon and eggs is not a good idea. However if they could overcome this small obstacle then it would be very good indeed. THE MAIN COMPLAINT WE HAVE IS THE DOG MESS LWEFT ON THE FOOTPATHS ALL AROUND THE RESORT>

The room we stayed was very spacious .We had 2 kids and it had crib, sofa and double bed.The room also had a big balcony. The room was just few steps away from beach and the staffs were welcoming and helpful. There was outdoor swimming pool, sauna, massage available in property

Room did not had kettle in the room. But we got it after we request for it. Coffee/tea powder and milk were not kept as compliment in room.

Upgraded to a room with large balcony and hottub which unfortunately wasn't working at time but still a lovely gesture. On my many visits here always had a lovely sleep in the luxurious beds, staff always very helpful.

Breakfast for me has always been very basic so I prefer to eat out

Nice hotel in an excellent location. Rooms vary in size fridge and safe provided. Very good breakfast choice and quality. Staff are very helpful and the extreme cleanliness is notable throughout the hotel. Probably rate it as 3 star but would definitely return.

Perfect location just few meters from beach Very comfortable rooms Everything was amazing Just in the corner of the hotel we found an amazing restaurant ‘Alphonso’s’. If we go back to quarteira we will definitely come back there

The breakfast was standard , but but excellent quality price
