Hotel Condal

Great location, walking distance to everything, lots of food and shopping options right outside the main entrance. The staff were very friendly and gave us lots of good recommendations. The hotel was clean and our room was more modern than I was expecting.

It was no fault of the hotel, but one night we had other hotel guests (who were intoxicated) attempting to open our room door at night. Barcelona is a very busy city with a good nightlife, I wouldn’t recommend walking around the area late at night, again, nothing to do with the hotel itself, but just something to be wary of.

The staff were friendly and super helpful. Breakfast was fresh, tasty and plentiful. The breakfast lady was helpful, quick and friendly. The location was perfect, so near to the shops and right in the heart of the gothic quarter. The room was clean and had all that I needed. You could hear local music being played nearby (not too loudly), it was idyllic. The water pressure is high, great for a bath or shower.

A tea tray in the room would have made it even better.

Location of the hotel is perfect. All the attractions are very close in walking distance. Metro is nearby as well. The room was clean, cozy and warm. Bed was big enough for two people and bedsheets were fresh and clean. All necessary items like towels and soap are available. The price is not expensive at all. Definitely will be back for our next trip in Barcelona.

Walls are thin and there is no drinking water served in the room, so make sure you bring your own.

The hotel's location is excellent and easy to arrive from the airport. Besides, it is nearby the metro. The room and the bathroom (with a bathtub) were comfortable. Everything was clean. The breakfast is good, I would only recommend adding more variety of fruits. The employees were friendly and always willing to help.

Location is perfect if you are happy to stay in the centre of Barcelona with most of the local attractions at walking distance like Picasso museum, MOCO Museum, Boqueria Market, barcelonata beech , Ramlas , Gothic Quarters etc etc . Even the metro station Licieu is approx 100m from the Hotel.

Small rooms but probably expected in centre of Barcelona. No tea/coffee making facilities in room and of course no water provided though you could buy bottles of water from the Reception 👍

Staff were amazing, couldn't of being more helpful and super polite. Lovely staff. Great location. First room was very small and basic second stay much larger room. You get what you pay for but here you get a little more. The larger room was light and airy, spotlessly clean, fab air con, lovely little balcony (smoker) everything was fresh and clean. In close proximity to shopping, restaurants, beaches everything you need in walking distance and again the staff could not have being more welcoming and helpful and just a pleasure to deal with throughout both stays.

First stay room was tiny but fab staff made up for this with their wonderful service.

Great location in Barrí Gotic, near La Rambla and easy walking distance to Mercado Boqueria as well as other sights, restaurants and neighborhoods. The staff was friendly, the room was spacious and clean. Appreciated the raised space for luggage in the closet and 2 chairs at the desk. Also great water pressure and plenty of hot water in the shower.

For the price, would have appreciated a mini-fridge in the room and afternoon access to a self-serve tea/coffee station in the breakfast room. The raised bath tub was also a challenge without a grab bar for safety and would've like a plug in order to take a relaxing bath after all the walking we did.

The staff was 100% helpful, and always in a good mood. Our room was even ready an hour before the check-in time. The location of the hotel was great, we felt it was in the middle of everything.

There was little natural light in our room, the bathroom could bear a little upgrade, and a refrigerator in our room would have been nice. I think the 20 euro deposit for each of the beach towels was a lot.
