The fact that there is always someone there, the location is very central and the rooms are cleanly, sufficiently stocked. There is also a terrace on the room which is particularly useful for smokers. It's also about 10 seconds walk from the famous Ramblas Street, and about 20 seconds away from the entrance to Liceu metro station.
No major dislikes. Only thing to note is that you return your room card every time you leave the hotel, which was never a problem for me. The area is very busy and during the day with everything a tourist could want, however late at night (post midnight), the area does become a little shady, so it's worth factoring this into your decision if you like to be out into the early hours...

I have lived in BCN and location is as central as you can get directly next to green line metro stop Liceu/Boqueria/heart of the old town. The yellow line metro to the beach is a 5 min walk away or you can walk about 20 min to Barceloneta. Tons of restaurants and sights nearby. Staff was very friendly and helpful - i interacted with 4 or so different employees and every single one was nice and didn’t seem stressed despite hotel being full. small terrace is very nice and a small lounge area with microwaves, seating and vending is available.
Hotel requires you to leave your keys at front desk when leaving hotel. Not a huge deal and I am sure this is actually helpful because you never have to worry about losing keys.

It has a very nice location, just right in the middle of La Rambla, i.e., right in the center of all Barcelona sightseeings, and, very close to Placa de Catalunya, where the bus stop from/to the airport is. Also, it is a 20 min walk from Barcelona Nord Bus station. Thus, it is also very convenient for early/late travel by the bus from/to Barcelona.
The room for two person was a bit small, but, just for one night stay - it was OK

Lovey staff, can be a bit noisy but that is to be expected of a hostel. I started off with a room at the front but the noise from the street was too much so they moved me into a back room which was so much better. There is a terrace on every floor for smoking or sunbathing and an extra toilet and shower for every floor too. You have to leave your key when you go out at the reception. But, it isn't any hassle at all because there is a member of staff there 24/7 Brilliant location so close to lots of great shops. Taxis are easy to get and arent too expensive. There is also a 24 hour shop very close which is very handy.

I had to make a last minute booking and I've been able to the check-in around 11pm, which was helpful.
I think decoration of the room can be improved, but otherwise it was a comfortable stay, even though I just stayed for a night.

The place is very good for tour, cause its in city center! The staff is nice and they would like to help you when you have any questions.
The Palermo hotel donot offer the quilt, only offer blanket, so i have to put three blankets when fall asleep, but will feel a bit cold in the earily morning in mid-March.

The location is perfect, right off Rambla and close to many sights especially the gothic. The staff is very helpful and accommodating. The rooms are small but have all the features you need, including A/C. My room had a balcony as well that had a great view of the side street. Overall excellent place to stay!
A little small but I think that is common in this high demand area. As a solo no problem with dealing with the size.

Great location, just off the Ramblas. Staff were always on hand to help (you had to leave keycard everytime you left) this removes the worry of losing it when out and about in the city.
The bathroom sink was quite small but that is nothing major to complain about, shower and bed were clean and comfortable.
