Sm Hotel Sant Antoni

Front Desk staff were exceptional. Very sweet and helpful. The beds were very comfortable. Location was fantastic ... just 1 block from where my daughter is living and a few short blocks to Sagrada Familia. Breakfast provisions looked very good and the coffee was great.

We expected the rooms to be small. The beds were just a bit too close together and there is not much walking room around them. It would be challenging for a larger person or an older person to get in and out of their bed. Would've been nice to have USB chargers in the room.

1. Near the station. So convenient for DIY travelers and for traveling around the city. 2. Near the La Sagrada Familia. Very convenient to tourists. 3. Breakfast choices were quite limited, but it catered to a lot of palettes (including Asians). 4. Friendly and accommodating staff. Very helpful in assisting tourists. They also allowed us to change the date, even though it was just a few days away.

1. You get what you paid for. Since it's on the affordable yet comfortable side - the rooms are quite small. Would have appreciated a little more countertop in the bathroom. Quite a challenge to where to put your dry clothes when you take a bath.

Location. Nice staff and very helpful, at the reception.

No soundproof rooms, at night time could here the conversation from the next room between 2 Asian ladies, room quite small for the price we paid.

Large clean room in a nice location close to Sagrada Familia. The reception staff is very helpful, ready to answer any questions and give directions for a more pleasant stay. There is a place to store your suitcases and use the toilets even though you are checked out of the room.

The towels were not changed every day, the same ones were left and again nicely just arranged as if they were new. It was leaking from the cooling a bit in our room. You could hear a lot from the other rooms, especially from the corridors. It is ridiculous to pay 2 euros extra for keeping your suitcases, when you have already paid so much money for the whole stay.

If Sagrada Familia is the first place you will visit in Barcelona, ​​this hotel is very good in terms of price performance. The Sagrada Familia is a 5-minute walk away. Since the hotel is close to the monumental metro stop (7 minutes on foot), it is easy to reach other parts of the city. The hotel is a 25-minute walk from the famous La-Lambra street, but if you don't want to walk, you can also use the metro or city buses. The room is complete and modern. The TV is big screen and well positioned on the bed. Internet is working. Toiletries are complete. Room heating is good. Since I wanted silence at night, I requested my room on the upper floors. I slept comfortably in my quiet room facing the back. Cleaning is good. The bed is comfortable. The plugs are near the bed. There is a mini fridge and it works properly. I can't comment on breakfast as I didn't have breakfast.

The location was good. There was a nice cafe just below the hotel where you could have a nice breakfast at a reasonable price. Sagrada Familia is just a few minutes walk.

We visited in March, but the temperature in Barcelona was more than 20 degrees Celsius. The central cooling system was off. We talked to reception, but they mentioned that the cooling system is on only in summer. They suggested opening the window. But if u you the window, there is a main road and the noise is unbearable even at night.

The hotel is very nice and clean, the staff is helpful, the room was well-furnished and the limited space (13 sq. m) was wisely used. One could expect a somewhat lower price for a room this size with “internal” view but the location is great - it is a very close walking distance from Sagrada Familia and generally it is easy to reach all main sights of the city from the hotel. The Sants station is a bit far away but any taxi service will take you there quite quickly. Btw, in the end I thought that the internal view was a convenient feature as this way the room is really quiet and street noises do not disturb you.

The hotel has a nice location, very close to the Sagrada Familia Church, that my companions wanted to visit the most in Barcelona. There is a very convenient metro station one block away and the line number 2 train takes one directly to m o n t j u i c Mountain and a free transfer to the top of the mountain. I liked that the hotel had a small refrigerator. The breakfast was very very good. The staff was very helpful. There is a good Supermarket right around the block.

The hotel was very expensive. In fact, the cost was twice as high as I have ever paid for a hotel in Spain before in eight trips during the past 6 years.

The 24/7 availability of the reception staff was a plus. The staff provided assistance with information about places to go, help with calling transportation, and were there to greet the guests. These gestures made us feel appreciated. Another admirable factor Hotel Sant Antoni has is their adherence to cleanliness. Not only that, the cleaning crew were so polite, hardworking and professional. No wonder the facility is so neat and clean. I love the breakfast buffet too. The food was delicious and well planned: from the menu to the arrangement and the ambiance. Great job to the breakfast staff!

The lighting in the room may need to be re-evaluated.

Comfortable firm bed, two pillows per person (bed would be small for a couple). Quiet room facing building interior. Good black-out curtains. Very clean. Quick checkin, checkout. Friendly staff.

First room I was offered smelt strongly of smoke, they changed me for room next door. Complimentary water would be nice, as BCN tap water is unpleasant. Small room, fine for one person one night, but would be cramped under other circumstances.
