Cape House Langsuan Hotel

Loved the spaciousness of the room. The hotel upgraded one of our studio suite room to a one bedroom suite. Location was pretty convenient too. It’s not on the main shopping street but easy to get to with all the skywalks. The staff were helpful and friendly.

The Executive Lounge didn’t feel executive at all. There were no staff manning the lounge at all during the 3 days I was there. Food and cutleries were not replenished. So if others were there ahead of you and have eaten the food brought out…it’s gone. I even had to enter the washing area to get my own plate from the dish drainer on the 2nd & 3rd day. Only coffee, tea and water were served. No soda or juices were available.

The two bedroom apartment was perfect for our family of three. The staff were friendly and professional. The room had a washer/dryer which was very handy. The breakfast was excellent with a lot of choices - fruit, cereal, pastries, salad, eggs, rice, noodles etc. The hotel is a 5 minute walk to Chit Lom BTS and Central Shopping Mall - use the escalators in the small shopping centre on the corner to access both. There are 7/11s and ATMs close to the hotel. We would definitely stay here again.

There was nothing we didn’t like. The hot water is very very hot so you need to take care when adjusting the water temperature in the shower and bath. There are signs in the bathrooms telling you the water is hot, just something to watch if you are travelling with young children.

Excellent value for money and lovely comfortable Studio and Suite. Very helpful concierge, polite housekeeping team, and good quality of breakfast. And a fantastic location - 5 mins to Chid Lom BTS and the Central Malls; 10 mins to Central World and Gaysorn. In 10 mins walking south, we could really wonderful walks in the Lumpini Park!

Rooms were just a tad bit dated; very few electrical sockets; TVs need upgrading and streaming networks. Breakfast restaurant too small for the occupancy; we had to wait twice for a table, and when we received a table, we were being rushed by the staff as they wanted to clear the buffet. Not acceptable.

Very friendly & helpful staff. Excellent location, easy walking distance to BTS, Lumphini Park, huge shopping centres & markets. The courtesy lounge to wait in after checking out was a real bonus. Pool area is clean & pleasant, with showers & pool towels.

Our room contained a lot of unnecessary stuff which made it feel cluttered eg dressing table, big lounge furniture, wooden rack, glass shelving. There was plenty of storage so removing these items would have made it less fussy & more spacious.

Staff are GREAT - they are very friendly and helpful .. always smiling and go out of their way for you at anytime of the day/night Location - was perfect for us .. central to everything (MBK - Central World / Pratunam Mall / Terminal 21, etc, etc) Room - 1 Bedroom Suite - loved the size

As per previous comments I have read: - the Bathrooms are looking a bit tired (need a little update - but are clean) - the Bedroom carpet was very stained (as the hotel was not fully booked-out they should address this issue promptly) Other comments: - even though you have a kitchen there is NO dishwashing liquid / drying cloths in the room

What we liked: - The staff were super welcoming and friendly and couldn't do enough for us from the moment we arrived - Breakfast was really great. We really made the most of everything there, especially the section where they cooked the eggs whatever way you wanted. - The room was nice and quiet. I had stayed in a hotel room facing onto Soi Langsuan before and found it noisy at night. Cape House obliged by giving us a room on the back facing onto the embassies. - Close proximity to Lumphini Park made it possible to have a very pleasant run in the cool of early morning Bangkok

Staff and location was all spot on. Nearby is access to the BTS, Lumpini Park, 7/11 and other restaurants. It is very family friendly and safe.

The room I was given on the 8th floor offered no nice views. Just a view of other hotels. I was a bit disappointed as I did request a room with a nice view while using booking.com - but this wasn't granted. Also, because of construction nearby there was lots of dust in the room. The cleaners do an amazing job when they make up the room during the morning. However, by the end of the day you can see the dust building up. I wouldn't recommend it for those with dust allergies. Maybe the hotel should invest in an air purifier.

Ticks all the boxes, and then some. It’s an older property so it doesn’t have any modern-ish flair, but has most everything (see comment below) you could need. The bedrooms were large-ish with very comfortable beds, and the bathrooms cavernous. (The toiletries provided had no panache but were functional.) The lounge was a cool oasis after a day outside, and always well stocked with light snacks and fruits. The breakfast buffet barely changed, but what was available was good. (Special shout-out for the croissants! Sublime.) And the location (next to a Starbucks, and a mere 300 meters to the Chid Lom BTS) was extremely convenient. The staff were attentive and quick to respond to any requests. A top choice for my next visit to Bangkok.

Could have used more utensils in the kitchen, although I’m pretty sure these could be made available.

- great service - kind and varied breakfast with thai food, eggs, cheeses, vegetables, pastries and everything is amazing. - level 15 (business center) is very comfortable, with great treats and awesome wifi. - reception is very helpful - awesome location - rooms are really beautiful and pleasant.

- horrible wifi in our room. We ask couple of time to fix it and the problem persist. We had to work from our phone's sim and it was super hard. Day after day. - we didn't get water or shower gel couple of time. - small pool
