Cleaningness, comfort and breakfast buffet. The hotel restaurant was also pretty good.

We were badly advised to take a trip to a floating market which was almost 2h drive from the hotel (even though we were told it was only 1h). It was supposed to be one of the oldest and most authentic around Bangkok. When we got there we realised that it was obviously a tourist trap. We had to pay an extra 3'000 BHT to be taken on a boat through the canals full of turist shops an no sight of the food market. This was our last day in Bangkok just before a 12h hours flight back to Europe. We were disappointed, tired and sick from 4h drive with a terrible driver. This ruined our last day on the city and left a bad memory of the Marriot. I was expecting better and honest suggestions from the staff of such a prestigious hotel.

The position, the cleanliness and the kindness and helpfulness of the staff was outstanding! The room was decently sized and equipped.

However, I would have expected more in terms of amenities and services. The gym is not up to the standards, the breakfast is not in line with the category of the hotel and, I maybe was not lucky, but it's my 3rd time I stay at this hotel in 3 different years and every time there were renovations and repair work which have a negative impact on my ease and comfort of stay. However, because the staff was really incredibly nice, I may go back again.

The hotel environment is comfortable. Room is cozy and the bed is great. Mum and I got good night rest each night. Toilet is ok, water strength is normal. Breakfast spread is great! They even have my favorite masala tea as I least expected that! The free shuttle is helpful to chitlom bts and the bts nearest to the hotel.

As we met with two raining night, the journey from the nearest bts back to the hotel is flooded. as the rain is heavy and we did not call for the shuttle service since there is no shelter to wait anywhere at the bts waiting point. the water is of ankle height and though it was a memorable journey back to the hotel, but it actually also posed inconvenience to the hotel stayers.

Room was well appointed and had everything I needed to keep comfortable. I spent a total of 18 nights at the hotel this trip. I was travelling within Thailand midway through my trip, but, before I left, I had requested that I stay in the same room on the back half of my stay. Location is excellent. The BTS station for the two BTS lines are so close. Shopping at places like Central World or Paragon are easily within walking distance. Both of those large malls have great food court/restaurants where food can be found that fits all budgets. And the food quality is so high even for the inexpensive meals. For those that want to be more courageous, there are many food choices within 1 km where you find small open air restaurants as well as the food vendors on the street. For those Westerners that want more home fast food...that's also available in and around the hotel. The area is so nice that if I were to purchase a condo in the area, I would seriously consider this area where the hotel is located.

Since my travel was during the pandemic (just at the time when the Omnicron variant was exploding around the world, but, not in Thailand), I wanted to keep exercising in a gym. The hotel gym is a decent size but only 1 of 4 treadmills actually worked. A bit disspointing as two of the treadmills were marked 'closed' for social distancing but were also marked as in operative because they were just broken.

The staff in the small Cafe Shop is not attentif, we ordered drinks which never came. Had do go ourself to look what happened.

The breakfast was delicious with variety options. Dinner at the hotel restaurant was fine too. Our room was cosy and comfortable. Hotel made a decorating to my daughter birthday and brought the cake twice which was so kind. The bed was comfy but too small (we took a room with 2 beds). Location and shuttle service was amazing.

The price didn’t include the taxes, be sure that you understand the final price. The deposit was high and if you pay by card - you’ll wait about 30 days to get it back. Air con was too cold, even when I take it off, which make me sick. I asked about high level quite room, but got just second floor and closer to elevator. Which wasn’t quite at all. The music in hall was loud too. There aren’t any kid’s activities (kids room/service) but there is big playgrounds very closer (Harborland). It was expensive. Impossible to get any fresh air from windows, all locked.

Breakfast was great with a wonderful selection! Staff service was also very friendly and fast, appreciated their help. Facilities were also good - pool, gym etc.

The new rooms were nicely renovated but a slight pity that it was no longer carpeted. Nevertheless was still a very comfortable stay.

Everything! I got the room at the edge and size was perfect. Appreciate the extra space. Good for families with small kids (but not for staycation, pool is rather not kid friendly) staying. Food was great! Short walk to central world, around 7-10 mins by foot.

The location was ok, convenient, except it was at the end of the road and taxis had a hard time locating the hotel. None of them were familiar with it. Quite difficult to explain cos taxi drivers spoke little english. You have to show on google maps to navigate. Also no service (complimentary) water at the restaurant. Limited water in rooms, but that's the usual.
