Hotel Solo, Sukhumvit 2, Bangkok - SHA Extra Plus

General layout of room is nice. Room light control device was really cool. Staff helped me understand how it works. Staff was very accomodating, polite and professional

Location is deep in the Soi. Hotel does not have restaurant or coffee shop. Bed was not comfortable for me, but that may just be because of my back. It was firm and most travelers would be ok with the beds.

Staff was very friendly as always, and the whole test and go package was very well arranged, I got to pick the food before I arrived and it was actually very tasty, some great first meals after I had to miss Thailand for two years. I've stayed here multiple times throughout the years, and it's always nice to be back, the location is convenient, the rooms are nice and big, there's a nice rooftop pool, what more do you need?

A room at this hotel is a good bang for your buck. I enjoyed a very reasonably priced, clean and spacious room with all the facilities that you would expect from a 4-star hotel (including access to Netflix on the TV). The cherry on top of the cake is the location - the hotel sits in a safe street that's an easy walk away from a supermarket, cafes, Starbucks, McDonald's, and a short (hence cheaper) Grab/cab ride away from local Thai food, Chinatown and the shopping district. I'll definitely be back.

During my time at the conclave in Bangkok, I had the pleasure of staying in room 504. Each afternoon, upon returning, I was greeted by the comforting sight of a beautifully cleaned and well-maintained room. The attention to detail in maintaining the room added a layer of comfort and serenity to my stay. I would like to extend my sincere appreciation to the hotel staff for their exceptional service. Their kindness and helpfulness were remarkable, especially in arranging taxi transportation and assisting with locating booked venues. Their efforts ensured that I was always on time for my engagements. The staff's professionalism and dedication to guest satisfaction played a significant role in making my stay both enjoyable and stress-free. Their warm hospitality greatly enhanced my experience at the event, and for that, I am truly grateful.

Within walking distance to Nana Metro Station and in a sideally past the Marriott Hotel. The rooms are spacious and the bathroom o.k. The staff is friendly and helpful. They offer free shuttle service to the main road. We received an upgrade to our room, which was nice.

We didn't receive instruction on how to operate the air-conditioning and the various lights from the switch panel. After help from the staff, we figured out, but unfortunately the air-conditioning was very noisy on any fan speed level.

The room was clean every day while our stayed. The young girl in front desk was very nice and helpful. small swimming pool and quiet place. Wi-Fi super easy and simple to connect. The hotel is valued for the money.

The first room we got was full of the cigarette smell, so we asked if other room available to change. we got better room and no smell. There was no bar, restaurant or breakfast afforded as all were closed. The staff recommended us to order food online. It was quite far for walk from the Main Street to the hotel. The 1st and 2nd days of our stay were no TUKTUK afforded as the driver off from work, but the last day of our stay we could have a chance to take the TUKTUK to the main road.

On a quiet street about 10 min walk to Sukhumvit Rd. Taxi/tuk tuk available from right outside if you do not want to walk. Small but pleasant pool on roof. Good views. Lovely clean room. Modern shower, hot water, TV, A/C. Very comfortable and contemporary. Friendly and attentive staff who managed all our requests easily and professionally. Would happily stay again.

Rooftop pool could do with option for drinks/snacks and area could feel slightly less neglected. Very quiet. Not many guests or staff. Guess it's still recovering from covid period.

It didn't feel like a 4 star hotel, but for the price I think it's worth it. The room was nice and clean. The staff were nice and helpful and the pool on the roof was nice too.

Location is a bit far from BTS (~15 mins walk) and from the main road (~8 mins walk, but there's a taxi stand outside of the hotel) There's a weird moldy smell at the lobby (room was fine though) The toilet and shower in the room didn't have locks No kitchen at the hotel

The hotel offers a nice roof top pool and lounging area. Perfect spot to soak some sun and cool off.

You can tell the hotel was once a very nice 4 star. I think covid has caused many places to reduce service levels…. The place is still very good for the price. Rooftop patio and pool is relaxing. Just be able to accept some wear and tear.
