Depiero Hotel Karaköy

Breakfast was basically a Turkish breakfast as a buffet.... bread cheeses eggs ham sausage salads hummus fruit cakes biscuits. It was like a 3 course breakfast. Location was near galetta tower and karakoy and metro. The street is in an industrial area and was filled with friendly stray cats which the locals look after.

Very Very minor issue...walls are a little thin and the shower temperature would get lower as you are using it....but it is a very powerful shower which is nice.

clean and well maintained, good bed and bath, nice staff, quiet place, only a few minutes walk to Galata area and/or to metro

breakfast was pretty basic; location is good but in a small street full of plumbing, electrical and mechanical shops so don’t expect pretty surroundings

Airco makes a little sound

The hotel itself was very clean and tidy. The staff were extremely friendly(a special thanks to Tugay who went above and beyond in being helpful!) The breakfast was also quite good.

The hotel was conveniently located near many attractions, such as the iconic Kabataş Tower and the popular fish restaurant under the bridge. It was also well-served by public transportation like trams. The only minor issue was that the immediate surroundings consisted primarily of construction shops, which made it a bit unpleasant in the evenings since it's dark and quiet without any restaurants or shops, but we quickly got used to it.

The room seems to have been renovated recently and it was very clean and spacious for two, especially the bathroom. Breakfast was good and plenty. The hotel is right near Galata tower, train stations, Galata bridge to get to Eminonu, etc. so it was very convenient. The hotel is located where construction/DIY tools (chainsaw, screw drivers, etc.) are sold and the stores are closed early at night. It was quiet at night.

While the room was equipped with a kettle, the hotel only offered instant coffee and tea for one day and it wasn’t replenished even though we stayed 4 nights.

The room is clean, the staffs are friendly and the location is very near to Gelata Tower, Istiklal Street and walking distance to Ferry port.

The hotel was perfect new modern , location for tourists is perfect , the staff were very nice , friendly and helpful , breakfast is very nice and rooms are comfy & clean

Great location, very clean and easy to get to. Only a short walk to the Sishane station and Karakoy tram line. You can get to the Galata Tower by walking within 6-8 mins. The hotel is in an area where there is construction shops but very safe and not noisy. The staff at the hotel are very helpful and friendly. A special thanks to the front of house staff in particular Tahir who was extremely attentive to our needs and very helpful. The hotel room was cleaned on a regular basis. This is great hotel, will be returning.

Can’t complain!

The Depiero Hotel is a very nice and new Hotel located in Karaköy very centrally to everything you need. The Hotel is very beautiful, rooms clean and modern furnished. The whole staff, especially Tugay 🤗, are helpful, friendly and always ready to answer all your questions. Breakfast Buffet had so many options, from hot dishes to typical turkish dishes with fresh fruits and even delicious desserts. Be ready to enjoy your holiday in Depiero Hotel! 😊

We stayed 4 nights. Found a great deal on booking (85 EUR/ per night for 2 persons with breakfast). The hotel is in Karaköy, a 7 min walk from the tram/bus station and 8 min from the pier. We came from Sabiha G. Airport with havabus to Kadiköy, and took the ferry to Karaköy. From there we walked to the hotel. Simple and cheap (40 TL/ 2,5 EUR), a taxi would cost about 40-70 EUR. The hotel staff are nice and helpful, they speak good English. The room was clean, had AC. The bathroom was also very clean and modern. Everyday housekeeping. Breakfast is served from 8-11, buffet, good selection of products and coffee. Overall it was very good, great value for money. I can only recommend Depiero Hotel!
