The place was in a very convenient neighborhood to commute to all the sights and eat good food! It’s literally around the corner of the Galata tower! The room was extremely clean and beautifully equipped! All the staff was incredibly nice and helpful! Especially the owner took the time to talk to us or help us out. She was very warm and authentically welcoming! We received a WiFi device for free to carry around for the whole trip. This way we didn’t have to buy SIM card, which was very thoughtful! The breakfast was very big and delicious. One night we were hanging out at the bar talking to the bar tender and he was really excited to show us the roof top for the incredible view. We loved staying at the Walton Galata and felt very comfortable. Thank you to all the staff. We are looking forward to coming back!

Room was beautiful and comfortable. Staff was very kind and helpful- especially Engin! Also received a message from the owner of the hotel to ensure I had everything I needed. The view from the terrace was beautiful and you get a gree drink! He gave me great recommendations. I also really appreciated that they provide with a portable wifi and let you borrow a transportation card! This was super helpful! Location was amazing! Highly recommended this hotel! I stayed in a different hotel after, although it was nice it did not compare in customer service!

We just can highly recommend this very nice hotel! We have been staying with the entire family (4 people) for 4 nights here. The stylish designed rooms are very clean and spacy. And Zeynep and her great team are very much used to spend awesome hospitality and outstanding support in a very personal way for all reasons. And not to forget the roof top bar for getting served a delicious breakfast or to end the day with one of the fantastic house cocktails, this is a place must see with a view on the Galata tower and Sultanahmet. This is definitly a place for staying and resting during a trip to Istanbul.

We had a great stay at Walton Hotel and really appreciated the very helpful and caring staff (particularly Engin, Zeynep and Selim) as well as the location (near galata tower, tons of nice shops, coffees and restaurants around) and lastly the rooftop of the hotel with the beautiful view.

The personnel is really great and makes you feel welcome! They constantly ask you about your stay and if you feel comfortable. The were responsive to our requests and tried to ensure we feel well. Our room was quite spacious and it had all we needed, including bathrobes and a new bottle of water every day. The hotel serves nice breakfast on a top of the building, from where you can see Galata tower and other parts of Istanbul.

The view from our room was onto an ugly and dark courtyard and as it was located on the first floor, we could barely see any daylight in the room. The room needs some renovation as it looks a bit worn out. Else, as already mentioned, the staff makes you feel well and cares about your stay, which compensates these negative points.

The location was great. A short walk to Galata tower. It's also not far from İstiklal caddesi for shops, restaurants, shisha and dessert places. It's equally close to Karaköy tram station which is well connected for the main tourist sites in Istanbul. The room was good, it had everything we needed for a short trip. Breakfast is served in the roof terrace/bar which has amazing views.We were given vouchers for a free welcome cocktail in the bar which was a nice touch. We also used the hotels airport transfer which was really useful. Probably the best thing about this place is the people. We felt very well looked after here. There was always someone at the front desk which is great if you're checking in late or coming back after a late night. Murat checked us in and helped us with travel and internet whilst in Istanbul, he also gave us recommendations for various places. Zeynep was very friendly and welcoming at breakfast each day. The lady who served breakfast (sorry I didn't get her name) was so kind and the breakfast was delicious. This place is a great choice for your first time in the city.

There really wasn't anything I didn't like as it was such a good choice of hotel.

Very clean and well maintained. Staff is really good. Breakfast on the rooftop is a very good experience, really enjoyed it. The owner herself takes care of the guests which is commendable. We took the deluxe room which was spacious. They give you an Istanbul public transport card, which is a nice gesture. 5-8 min walk to Karakoy Tram (Furnicular) station which connects to metro as well. Galata tower is right next to the hotel, lots of cafes very close to the hotel. Overall a great experience.

One minor thing which can be improved is the lighting in the rooms, it can be brighter. Rest everything was great. Overall a very good experience.

Breakfast was satisfying with a variety of sweet and salty plates. A delicious tea is served as well every day along with juices, milk and filter coffee. The position of the hotel is very advantageous because is situated in one of the most beautiful and central neighborhoods of Istanbul, close to Galata tower and Istiklal street where all the heart of the city beats with many shops, restaurants and bars. It is very quiet and very close to metro and tram station. From the hotel we were able to walk everywhere through the city. Engin in the reception was our reference point and helped us through our stay. Zeynep the owner of the hotel, was the most sweet and friendly person I’ve ever met. She made sure our stay become unforgettable. They offer a hotspot Wi-Fi device to carry on everywhere you go, free of charge and a transportation card that you charge when needed in order to move around by public transport. When I’ll get back to Istanbul will definitely be my choice again.

Breakfast could be a little bit different from day to day cause it starts to get boring after a while.
