I loved the generous and lovely breakfast spread, with a breathtaking view of the sea and the Blue Mosque to boot! I had also requested for a room where I could get a good view of the blue mosque, and they managed to give me this room! The view of the mosque from the covered balcony of my room is breathtaking! I just loved sitting there and enjoying the view. My husband and I did our work there too--in the terrace. My thanks to Murat especially. He is an excellent staff, who is an asset to the hotel. My thanks also go to the owners and managers who were also very kind and who gave us this room. I would definitely stay here again when I come to Istanbul, and I would recommend this hotel to everyone! It is very very close to all the sights in Sultanahmet.

Location

1-Bath Tub height too high. Dangerous. Slip and fall 2-Reception desk worker Mahmud always says” check from Google” when ever I ask him a question. Not a good reply

5 Stars for Location! A few touristic locations are in walkable distance. Staffs are friendly. Location is good for shopping, evening walk, good restaurants are nearby. I recommend this hotel.

Need to put a kettle, and coffee maker. Because we had read the reviews early, we carried a kettle with us. A kettle is a must during winter seasons. No iron box inside the room. But, they have ironing room.

The location was unbeatable - close to everything and not too loud (most of the nights). The staff was very friendly and helpful, the transfer driver brought us right to the steps of the hotel. The rooms are small, but clean and overall nice and cozy, and the breakfast on the rooftop is top-notch.

It was not an issue for us, but people with limited mobility may find it difficult to use the shower - the bathtub in our room had a knee-high border, and the tiles on the floor got slippery.

The staff were very helpful and accomodating. The breakfast spread was exceptional with so much variety. The view of Blue Mosque and Hagia Sofia from the roof top breakfast area was very good.

There was no onsite resturant for lunch or dinner but the area was located in a district with tons of resturants so this wasn't really a problem.

This is the second booking i did in Hotel Fehmi Bey. First booking, i booked 3 rooms for my family and my relatives. The most i like is the location and the menu for breakfast. I really enjoy all the turkish menu that serves on breakfast. The three persons who duty at front desk, i forgot their name. They are really helpful, guide me when i ask the location and provide what i need. Really appreciate it. Three of you did a great job. I try to booked for the third time, but not successful. Maybe booking.com not allowed me to booked at very short time period at your hotel. But, i really like to stay at Hotel Fehmi Bey. So, i need to stay at other place. I, my family and my relatives also really enjoy the scenery during our breakfast and the music. I have experience staying in other hotels in Sultanahmet area. But, Hotel Fehmi Bey is one of the best.

Please don't allow other customer who wake up late to booked table for breakfast. If breakfast time started from 7.30 am to 10.30 am, please let your customer enjoy their breakfast. My experience, the waiter already booked the table for other customer who not yet coming and the waiter also ask me and my child to eat fast because he want to give our table to other customer. He keep repeating saying, 'this is not ok' to me and my child.

Everything was perfect. This hotel brings everything you need to have a wonderful experience in Istanbul. The staff is very kind, respectful and helpful (they even helped us to accommodate at last time for more days because there was a change of plans in our itineraries). The breakfast is so balanced and tasteful, full of variety and delicious options. İt is pretty close to the Sultanahmed area and principal attractions. The views from the terrace are breathtaking (you will be able to see the blue mosque, Marmara sea and obelisks while having your breakfast and from some rooms). I go e to this hotel 20 of 10, it was excellent!!! ;)

Nothing. Everything was perfect

In an otherwise let's say not great trip to istanbul, hotel Fehmi Bey was an absolute bright spot. Breakfast on the roof was fantastic, and on quiet days I spent hours having coffee and looking over the sea of Marmara. Breakfast does get a little busy when it's cold/rainy, as most of the space is outdoors, get there early! Staff was kind and attentive. Rooms are a little dated, but clean and comfortable. Get room 411 if you can, it's right next to breakfast, has a great view, and is away from the noise of the street. The Internet is kinda slow, and you have to keep entering your passport number, but this is true seemingly for the whole nation.

My TV didn't work, but I wouldn't have understood what was happening anyway, so this wasn't an issue. The fridge could have kept things a little cooler, I wouldn't store food there much longer than you would at room temperature.

my room specifically was very small, which was fine because I was traveling alone. but the mattress was uncomfortable and the shower was too small for me
