This hotel was truly a spectacular find! Pretty much everything deserves a mention. From its tasteful aesthetic and class, to the courteousness and etiquette of the staff. Everything was on point. We were lucky enough to get a free upgrade at check-in, and our concierge was extremely hospitable, he helped a lot with the navigation around town. And EVERYTHING IS NEARBY!!! We were literally able to get back for naps too, it was glorious 😭😭😭 I HIGHLY RECOMMEND STAYING HERE. Thank you so much for making our trip so memorable!!! PS: Breakfast is divine. So is their cute courtyard.

Nothing at all, but we got an excellent tip at upgrade time to always pick the room with a sea view if we prefer it to be extra quiet. Just because the street can be busy, and hence noisy. Just something to keep in mind.

Staff was very friendly. Hôtel is very well located near sights and the important T1 tram line that gets you many places. Beds are comfortable and I got a quiet room.

Internet was a bit on the slow side, even when compared to other hotels in secondary cities in Turkey.

We were warmly welcomed by Nevzat on our arrival. He made sure we were comfortably installed and arranged for airport transfers. He was so friendly that he even gave us an Istanbul card so we could easily commute in the city since taxi fares could be quite expensive for 1 week stay. So future travellers : get an Istanbul card and you can top up at Çemberlitaş tram stop which is 4mins walk from the hotel. For Istiklal street, walk 21mins to Vezneciler station to Taxim. If you are looking for breakfast or lunch option, Mivan restaurant cafe also 5mins from Celine hotel is a good choice and for dinner opt for Grace Rooftop restaurant close by. Also Mürsel was the go to person for all our bookings and he is very endearing by giving us advice and also with recommendations. So for your bookings for sightseeing, Bosporous cruise, Turkish bath and whirling dervishes, he is the go to person. All in all location of the hotel, amenities and welcome were awesome and we felt at home. Should we ever visit Istanbul again, we will definitely come back!

The location in old town allows for easy access to all the major historical sites, shopping and plenty of restaurants. We walked everywhere and used public transport to get to the Asian side. The breakfast was delicious with fruit, nuts and option for eggs. I highly recommend asking for menemen (egg with tomatoes and spices). They are opening an espresso bar which will be amazing. We got to sample the coffee and it's some of the best I've had. The bed - seriously my favorite thing. It was especially comfortable helping ease away the 12 hr jet lag. I can't say enough great things about this small boutique hotel. Would absolutely stay there again!!!

Perfect stay we were here one night to transfer to Istanbul airport in the next day. It is underestimated hotel. In my view, the score should be more than 9.5 because the room is very beatiful and cozy especially the mattress is perfectly soft. Breakfast is in high quality. Staff is very professional. Our domestic flight was delay from Kayseri and staff is waiting for us to check in at late night. The welcome snack especially walnut and mulberry are really nice. I tried to ask what we could buy it and what brand but the staff cant advise exactly. By the way, it is very good location hotel to stay. If I were in Istanbul next time, I will book stay here not in other hotels. 10 out of 10

Good hotel in the old town. Staff at reception is so cute. He did his best to help us in everything- Advising sights nearby, helped with taxi, pcr test, even walked with me to show by himself where to buy the best baklava. Hotel is clean, room as expected. Overall feeling is good. And guy at reception does great job for that.

breakfast could be better, but it seems we where the single guests because of Covid, so breakfast was quite simple. As it was served by same guy who is at reception. He cooked omelet for us. Breakfast included Instant coffee but we did not want Turkish, so that could be reason why European coffee was not cooked..

Celine Hotel is just amazing in all senses. Its location is perfect to get all the main tourist places, also very 4 min walking to Tram. The room and hotel in general keeps the historical estructure and enchant, the old Otoman mansion. Room very clean and comfortable. Bathroom was wonderful. Service and Receptionist very kind and always willing to offer any kind of help or advice.

All was great!! Maybe it could be better breakfast... However, it wasn't an issue for us at all. We were for my partner's birthday and we had a super nice time there.

The room was lovely: big, with a nice balcony, a good shower and a comfortable bed. The location was excellent for tram transport and the historic sights of Istanbul like the Tokapi Palace. The breakfast had a good range of Western and Turkish options in a pleasant , bright conservatory. The building definitely has a "mansion" feel to it. The staff were very helpful and organised a reasonably priced airport transfer for us.

The hotel was wonderful. It was even better than expected. The price was amazing. Great location, walking distance to everything. We really loved the character of the hotel. The restaurant was fantastic and staff of the restaurant was friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean, very comfortable. The staff was amazing. They went over and beyond to help make our stay enjoyable: 1/ Mr. MURSEL: He is extremely efficient, pleasant and helpful. 2/ Mr. NEVZAT: He is very friendly and consistently making sure I was comfortable. 3/ Mr. SINAN: He is fantastic, great attitude, helpful, and always available. 4/ MAHMUT: Amazing person, he is friendly and makes customers feel welcome. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Istanbul. We will come again!

beautiful property just off the main square. so quite you wouldn’t know it. a little oasis! we absolutely loved our stay! the staff were SO kind and accommodating and great Turkish breakfast! they helped us find a Bosporus tour and they gave us all the local recommendations! some people reviewed this saying budget but it certainly was not that. it was 10/10 and better than some 4* hotels I’ve stayed in before! thank you Celine hotel. we will be back!!
