Friendly people working on reception, the price was more than ok for the area the hotel is placed

In case you rent a room on level floor, you will definetly have a problem with the people smoking underneath the room windows: Everybody doing it, even the hotel employees (and they did it again and again, even when we told them that we have to keep open the window because the bathroom smelled kind of funny and we had to air the room somehow...)

Definitely worth for its price. Located in the heart of the old city, many touristic places are available by walk. Very friendly staff, the bed is very comfy, rooms are kinda fresh.

Noisy at night outside, very limited choice on the breakfast, rooms are kinda small

close to Blue Mosque, clean room, good sea view, good breakfast,and friendly staff

the road infront of the hotel is small and the unit opposite our room looks like an unoccupied property.

Perfect location: 5-10 min walk to Blue Mosque, Aya Sophia and Topkapi palace. Tram T1 (5 min walk from hotel) drives you to Kabatas where you can enyoj Bosphorus cruise, Galat tower and Taksim square. Amazing airport transport! Stuff is very polite and helpful! Breakfast is delicious and various. The view from restaurant is stunning! Rooms are very clean, beds are comfortable!

Rooms with triple beds are a bit small, but nothing significant.

The location of the hotel and its proximity to historical sites was very good. A 15-minute walk will take you to a beautiful walking area by the sea. Means of transportation such as trams and subways are very close. There are many small and large markets, restaurants and cafes around. We walked for 15 minutes to reach the shopping street called Lalali and found many brands. Thank you also for the airport transfer. The Yilsam Hotel is located right in the center of Istanbul, very close to Sultan Ahmet Square and the Blue Mosque. In a waling distance you can visit all major attractions such as Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Museum, Grand Bazaar etc. We choose this hotel for its location mainly because we had a little baby with us and wanted to be able to visit easily. The breakfast is well made, not very diverse but OK. The room / suite we choose had a nice view of the area and the sea, and it was very clean. The staff is very polite and helpful and even arranged for us the pick-up and way back to the airport. Many restaurants nearby (recommend Dubb restaurant - very good food). Great place to stay for a city break!

Everything. Position was great, very close to Sultanahmet square and both most famous Mosques in Istanbul, Bleu and Hayasofya. Staff friendly and nice, room excellent and breakfast complete. I and my family have had a "dream holiday" in this hotel. Staff was fantastic, they offered us an upgrade at the same conditions of both rooms booked and supported our needs: they spent almost an hour to find a taxi available - when we couldn't find, with the risk to lose the ticket booked for the acquarium - and also negotiate for us a favorable fare, allowing us to do happy our little Grandchild. last but not least, they offered us some bottle of mineral waters when we leaved this fantastic places: we really appreciated their great hospitality.

Staff were so friendly and always willing to guide us whenever we needed help or information.The reception was very friendly.the breakfast was awesome...loved the fresh fried fritters and breads and crumpets and crepes.tasty food.and the view was soooo awesome.my 8 year old daughter got so attached to Sibel in the restaurant and cried as we left the hotel. Location was super easy to get to any tram,bus,train station plus 5 minutes to topkapi etc.

Wish the menu could be slightly different every 2 days.we stayed for 6 nights.cooked meals were the same.would have been nice if 1 or 2 things were different from the cooked meals section.got tired of eating eggs.

We loved our time in Istanbul at the Yılsam Sultanahmet Hotel. The location was great and only 3 minutes walk from the hippodrome and Blue Mosque. The area itself though was really peaceful. The restaurant views for Breakfast were a very pleasant surprise. Every day we enjoyed the view of the skyline and the Marmary Sea. The breakfast itself was a fantastic buffet with the kitchen doing little extras every day just for us. The staff were a highlight though. Helpful, friendly and always smiling. They made our stay (and gave good advice on which Barber to go to!)

Just have to say 'its perfect'! Location of hotel is perfect, close to old historical part of town, where is actually main street with lot of shops and caffe resturants. Public transportation is also very close, warm suggestion to used it. For personnel of hotel just have words of praise, they was very helpful, they send us welcome drink after check in, they were there for us. Hotel rooms are clean, cozy, we stayed in room with Marmara sea view, which was wonderful. City of Istanbul is worth of visiting, have everything for everyone.
