Al Khoory Courtyard Hotel

Great place to stay in Dubai. Friendly staff, the on-site arabic restaurant was good but a bit expensive (there is also an indian restaurant which I did not have the chance to try) Loved the room and great view on Burj Khalifa and skyline

Not the fault of the hotel obviously, but it's quite difficult to get anywhere at some times during the day. There is only one bus line stopping in front of the hotel, which often gets stuck in traffic. Metro is not within walking distance.

Great value for money the facilities were lovely, good breakfast beautiful pool and amazing views from the bedroom. We even received a cake for my husbands birthday which was a nice touch.

I had pre booked 2 rooms which I had requested interconnecting rooms as we had our young children with us. They gave us 1 room with a king bed and a sofa. I later paid for an extra room which was next door but no interconnected. So my husband and I slept in different rooms so we had a child each. At breakfast we were made to feel like the kids were too noisy when other guest arrived. And at the pool the kids were told to stay to stay in the kids pool even though they can swim which was a little frustrating because there was no one else in the pool.

Communication is not fun with the hotel. Dubai is an International City and people arrive 24/7 , so asked for early check in since my arrival time was 6am but…! -_- Hotel asked me to Pay in advance to confirm booking then had to wat to get a room!! They informed me I should wait till 2pm! Why would anyone wait in lobby from 7-2 。

The food was terrible, did not like the restaurants on the hotel.

Good value for the money. Quite far from the centre but reasonably easy to get to (taxi or metro + bus). Excellent views from the roof swimming pool. Good gym. Nice size room, very quiet. Comfortable bed, great shower. Very polite staff.

Not that I totally dislike anything, just a couple of things... 1. Air conditioning was impossible to control. Either you are walking in the freezer (+17 is not comfortable, especially the floor), or if you turn it off for the evening, it warms up pretty quickly. Can't set it on +20, keeps blowing ice cold. 2. Some of the things took long to sort out (the TV remote control - 1 hour for replacement, ironing board asked for three times during the day and never appeared)

I really liked everything! In particular I wanna thanks the professionality of Mafoud that took care of me all the time in the restaurant inside the hotel. Also a big thanks to all the staff!

Hotel is good and it was good value for money. Very comfy bed and nice shower.

Lots of "weird" people around. As it looks like industrial area. Got out to the supermarket wearing a very modest top and long shorts and was stared at like those workers had never seen a woman before. It was gross. Also would be nice to add sheer curtains to the room because when you lift blackout curtains everyone can see you through a huge window (it was a 1st floor)

The complimentary room upgrade was a nice gesture. The room's size, arrangement, and selection of amenities and facilities all exceeded expectations.

The food was below average. The fish and chips was too spicy for some reason. No ketchup or other condiments were provided. The Caesar salad was excessively marinated and had a pungent smell. In addition, the chicken slices within the chicken burger were very difficult to chew. Moreover, for my first meal, a glass with ice was provided for the soft drink. Interestingly, for my second meal, this was not provided. The overall quality of the food was therefore poor.

The beds were homely and comfortable, through which I battled my jet lag and enjoyed 4 nights of bliss sleep. The colouring of the lobby was vibrant and energising every morning and evening as i walked through the front doors of the courtyard. Though being located on a building site near the napa strip which created an overriding feeling of apprehension upon arrival, we learned to appreciate this as it allowed for a fairly middle ground when exploring JBR and the Creek located either side of the courtyard. Overall it was banging!

I really enjoyed my stay here, the modern yet simple interior design of the room made me feel like home. The room and the hotel itself are so clean and the staff were so friendly and welcoming (ms preeti sharma, mr ashvin) I liked the smart room controls, the multiple wall usb plugs which make it easier to charge your devices, it even has an HDMI input in the wall. The room had all the main utilities, The location was good, almost 15-20 mints away “not considering traffic “ from all the important attractions. Underground parking is also available. Great value for the money, would definitely come back again.

Realy good place to stay, even for long time. I stayed nearly month. Comfortable, pretty big rooms, nice zone for work and meetings on the first floor, good restaurants, amazing pool and very well equipped gym. and of course the team of hotel. Because of very pleasant team that always helped me in any needs, I prolong my stay in this hotel 3 times) especially thanks to very guests oriented mr Haroon and miss Khushani, and also miss Rabiya (sorry if any mistakes in names) guys you are great. hotel location to any part of Dubai also very near.

I had some issues with internet, but again the team soled everything very fast.
