Ramada Downtown Dubai

Spacious suite, with a full kitchen and a washing machine. 24 hours quality in room dining, and very good buffet at the restaurant. Friendly and helpful staff. Great spa.

We had couple of plumbing issues. A leaky faucet in the bathroom was replaced right away, but a drainage problem in the shower plagued us throughout our stay. The room was constantly too cold (!). There is no heating, you could only reduce the cooling to a minimum, and we still had to wear warm clothes when in the room. The concierge claimed to have discounted tickets to attractions, but only after we got to Burj khalifa we found that the VIP tickets we bought will take us only to floor 148 and not 156. I would suggest to buy your tickets yourself.

THE FRONT DESK GENT, I THINK HIS NAME IS IBRAHIM WAS EXCEPTIONALLY HELPFUL AND ACCOMODATING. HE IS TRULY A GEM OF A PERSON. THE BREAKFAST STAFF WAS FRIENDLY, EFFICIENT, HELPFUL AND SO WILLING TO BE AT YOUR SERVICE. BRAVO TO ALL THE STAFF AT RAMADA DOWNTOWN DUBAI.

THE FURNITURE SHOULD BE UPGRADED.

The room is spacious and the breakfast is good. Location just nice even need to walk around 10-15 mins to Dubai mall, however the hotel provide shuttle service to the mall.

The breakfast was really nice, with good variety and well stocked. Also not very repetitive The location is so close to Dubai fountain and we could walk back from Dubai mall Staff were great, they organised everything for us, they provided a shuttle to Dubai mall and if that was full made alternative arrangements to take us there in cars.. All free of charge Concierge organised or transport to Abu Dhabi for good price and comfy 4x4 Little touches like this made our stay very memorable Shop immediately next door with good supplies helped with using the apartment kitchen facilities to prepare own food and drinks You feel like you're getting a personal touch and I wouldn't hesitate to book the same place again in future

The bathrooms could be a bit more fresher looking, colours were a bit dull

27th floor, beautiful full window views of the Dubai Mall, Dubai Fountain and Burj Khalifa. Can't beat the location of this hotel. Our room was a 2 bedroom apt., well laid out with 2 1/2 baths, master bath had a shower and tub. Rooms were large too. Also had a washer and dryer plus a full kitchen. Staff was very nice. Beds were very comfortable. There is a small grocery store next to hotel which we used often. For the money it was very nice.

Some of the furniture needs replacing. Master bath needs brighter/better lighting. Needs a back door access to go to the fountain or mall instead of having to walk 2-3 extra blocks.

We recently stayed at the Ramada Downtown Dubai. The customer service was really good. Making our first trip to Dubai a memorable one. We were upgraded to an apartment facing the Burj and the fountain. A big thank you to Shrouk at reception for organising the upgrade. Emran and Roshan the concierge was such a friendly guy and provided useful tips for our stay in Dubai. The daily breakfast was delicious and we were well taken care off by June, Mary, Ebrahim and Rahul. Good location and the washing machine was a bonus.

We could not fault the place. It was all good.

The most impressive thing at the Ramada Downtown Hotel is the staff. Every staff member we had contact with was positive, friendly, helpful and are a credit to the organisation. During our stay we had specific contact with Mr Maduka at Reception, Mr Shazad at Concierge and Mr Dishan and Mr Oshada from Housekeeping. All of these gentlemen looked after us very well and we appreciated their care and attention. The apartment was spacious and very clean. Beds and pillows were comfortable. There is a Spinney's supermarket right alongside the hotel - open 24 hours and a pharmacy is located within 100 metres. The walk to Dubai Mall is an easy 15 minutes - although scheduled drop offs are provided using the hotel bus. The range of breakfast items was good - live egg cooking station was excellent - omelets were the best !!

The apartment had cooking facilities but no basic cleaning materials were provided at the sink - dishcloth, detergent. Not that we did not like it, but travellers should be aware the hotel does not have a bar. However, there are several venues with bars within easy walking distance.

I liked the location, the staff, the hotel manager and young night manager were excellent in make sure my stay was to my liking and satisfaction. For which the hotel manager upgraded my room to a one bedroom suite. With the upgraded proved to me that the hotel truely cares and work toward guests having a enjoyable stay at the property. I will recommend this property to all my friends and family.
