The location was excellent near to Dubai mall and Dubai opera which we came to watch a show

The entire third floor was closed for renovation so it was loud and noisy all day. They should have informed us when we booked about the construction.

The staff is super friendly. The food and coffee is really good. The location is awesome. I stayed here another time before and the hotel was gorgeous.

Everything in the building from the towels being old, rough and ripped on me, but some of the towels were new and soft. The shower head didnt work properly, sink heads was partially broken. temperature control in the shower was broken and you had to push it in to be able to control the temperature. carpets were all stained in the room and the lobby. I stayed here in 2018 and I can say Covid has not been kind to this place.

bathroom setup is not convenient ( toilet chair, shower, sink and bathtub are totally seperated) the sink water tap is very close to the sink where you can not wash your hands (tight space. in the shower, the shower water spray needs to be adjustable type instead of the existing fixed water jet type.

clean, spacious room with very comfortable bed. staff was pleasant and helpful at all times. breakfast was excellent and they offered both in room dining or in the lobby.

I did not like the disconnect between the toilet, shower and tub. The bathroom had swinging glass doors which had no locks. this made it a bit uncomfortable to be used with children and other family members in the room

Amazing stay. It was very central to everything. Walking distant to many restaurants and shopping. The staff went above and beyond to accomodate all our needs. House keeping was great. Breakfast was fantastic with loads of options and priced well compared to eating out at a coffee shop. Would definitely recommend the açai bowl and pancakes or waffles! The pool area was the best. The pool is a little cold for my liking but the cabanas are great and the life guard that was working the week we were there was amazing. He was always accomodating, made sure we had enough towels and fresh cool water. Fantastic place to relax, menu by pool is delicious and well priced. Check in and check out was prompt and smooth. Free parking was a bonus. We could drop car at front and they parked it and brought it up whenever we needed it. Bed and pillows are extremely comfortable, had the best sleeps. Drapes are block out which are conducive to sleep. Air conditioner was perfect temperature.

If I am been picky, the shower pressure stings a bit and when showering water leaks out onto bathroom floor. Nothing major we just put a extra towel on the floor.

24 hr fitness centre, tasty and healthy buffet breakfast and menu.. I ordered kale rye bread and poached egg daily it was cooked to perfection..I enjoyed all the grilled dinners very well flavoured.. hotel is at a fantastic location only 10min walk from dubai mall! the hotel staff were exceptionally helpful in planning my daily activities, booking tickets, and taxis.. I would use this hotel again its a nice minimal contemporary building that is clean and presentable and had the facilities for my trip

no door in the bathroom, lacking privacy.

Dubai has to be the hottest place I have ever visited and Also the cleanest place. Vida down town didn’t disappoint. We arrived at 7 in the morning and our room wasn’t meant to be ready until 3 but they rushed it along and we were able to get in our room at 10am. In the mean time we went and relaxed by the pool and had a little snooze. We were awaken with a big fresh jug of cold water with lemon and lime by the fantastic Sanjay. Everytime we went to the pool he made sure we had our water. The other staff were amazing too, nothing was a problem for them. We were a 7 min walk to the Dubai mall which is amazing. We were a 4 min walk to the Burj Khalifa. If it wasn’t so hot it would have even made our time in Dubai perfect. It was a great stop to rest before the big flight back to Australia

The heat.

Super nice boutique hotel, very clean, comfortable, and very stylish! The staff is great, helpful, and professional. The front office manager, Karmen was extremely accommodating with our requests and made sure we were enjoying our stay at all times. The rooms are comfortable and clean. The bathrooms in the room are like "open" and not totally separated from the bedroom, but it wasn't too big of a deal for us. The location if fantastic, there are restaurants, and coffee shops around, and you can reach the Dubai Mall on foot easily. Pool is small but nice, and food at the restaurant by the pool was also very good. I would stay here again for sure.

nothing major really

The room was comfortable but needed more storage area and suitcase stand. There was no place to open a suitcase except the floor. The breakfast buffet was excellent. The staff was very nice.

The nath room shower area did not provide privacy. It had a open area for the shower area. There was no door in shower or bathtub area. The shower also flooded the floor of the sink area.

The service of the staff was phenomenal. For example, as soon as I checked in, the receptionist was extremely polite and friendly and even gave us a free upgrade due to availability. Wonderful establishment and wonderful employees. Would totally recommend.

The breakfast was good but I was hoping for more normal choices instead of weird things like mushroom sauce toast amongst other things. Dont get me wrong the breakfast was great but they need to have normal choices as well like hash browns, chikcen sausages, etc. etc.
