Ellie is amazing hostess, making us feel welcome and like family. She made us bread from scratch, butter and Honey from her own bee’s. Breakfast was delicious, fresh and well presented. Ellie and Rex took the time to learn about us and our plans in town, the conversations felt like visiting old friends . The rooms were very clean, warm and comfortable. The vibe and the harmony of the place was so good. So glad that we decided to take a friend recommendation on this places. Now we have more friends on beautiful Calne England!

That we only stayed for two days. Next time will be a longer stay.

Ellie was very welcoming and superb host. She and her lovely friends made me feel very welcome to the village. I was lucky to see her bee hives and taste her honey, which was amazing! Room was very clean and bed was comfy. Had a lovely homely stay and breakfast was fantastic - just what I needed before heading off to Chippenham for the work trip.

It was important to keep Ellie updated with the time of arrival as she might not be available on certain times. I had a long journey to make and had a change of plan but couldn't get in touch with her easily. If you plan the arrival ahead and stick to it, it shouldn't be a problem.

I immediately felt at home upon entry. I was greeted by the hosts and got chatting with them very quickly. They were very friendly and welcoming and even offered to give me a lift to the wedding that I was attending that evening, which was very helpful. They let me to spend time with their very cute puppy and showed me the bees in the garden which was fascinating. The breakfast was incredible. I opted for the full English and all the ingredients were delicious in their own right - one of the best full English breakfasts I've ever had! All in all, it was a wonderful, homely, stay and I highly recommend to anyone visiting Calne.

Breakfast was yummy. Cooked very well. The location was ideal for us as it was only 3 miles from the wedding we attended. Our host arranged a taxi service for us to be taken to our destination and to collect us when it finished after 11 pm. We couldn’t fault the service we had.

The only disappointment is no parking on site. But there was adequate street parking just outside the hotel. I don’t normally like leaving my car parked in the street. But it wouldn’t stop me visiting the hotel again as it so nice and comfortable and it’s host so friendly.

The hosts were wonderful! So welcoming into their house and even helped us with our bags up to our room upon arrival. We had the Gothic Room which was fantastic. Good sized rooms, great decor and amazing views of the gardens. The beds were comfy and there was water and tea & coffee available in the rooms. We were offered fresh milk upon arrival and were given a choice of breakfasts for the next day. They catered to our every need and requirement without a fuss. We felt so welcomed and comfortable and the hosts took time to chat to us and gave us local information when needed. The walk in shower was wonderful and bathroom big. We had a peaceful sleep and just wish we could have stayed another night. The breakfast was superb. I'd read reviews about it being amazing, but this exceeded all expectations. Home cooked bread, local foods, high quality condiments and lots of effort gone into the breakfast. We had the choice of a wide range of food and drink options and it was all delicious. We did not leave hungry. We also met another lovely couple who were staying which was nice. The hosts made us feel like family and just wish we could have stayed longer. There is parking outside but also ample on nearby roads, so it's not too far to walk to park.

Nothing! There was not one thing wrong with our stay with Ellie - I wish all B&Bs and Hotels were like this!

A B&B with a personal touch that exceeds all expectations, stayed in the single room with wet room shower. The bed was extremely comfortable and very clean. The Breakfast was amazing, perfect poached eggs, succulent sauages and if you like black pudding tasted amazing as if they had been slow cooked keeping all the taste. My hosts made me very welcome. I would recommend a visit certainly got my vote for 5 stars.

Nothing loved my stay.

Ellie and Rexy couldn't do enough to help us - including booking us a table at a nearby restaurant and Rexy even drove me to the train station in the morning - everything we needed was on hand, the attention to detail was amazing and Ellie's breakfast was to die for. Also, cuddles with Buttons the Cockerpoo was just the icing on the cake. Thank you Ellie and Rexy, we will be back!

Nothing, couldn't be better.

We absolutely loved how welcoming and accommodating the hosts were. The Gothic room was so beautiful, and the bed was extremely comfortable. The bathroom was immaculate and spacious. The breakfast was delicious, and the dining room was as the rest of the property, beautiful. The front grounds were beautiful, and we enjoyed sitting on the bench playing with Mr Button's.

I had an extremely comfortable and happy stay for 3 nights at the Heritage B&B. The hosts were kind and friendly and went above and beyond to look after me during my visit. The breakfast was hot and delicious and there was even homemade sourdough toast every morning. I loved the pretty and spacious Victorian Room. The little dog was an added bonus as he was very cute.

This place was exceptional. Everything was perfect - the room was so comfortable and clean and the location is an easy walk to some great eateries. Ellie goes above and beyond. Her home made honey, bread and jam are divine. The breakfast is amazing and she puts so much effort into making your stay comfortable and memorable.
