everything, staff were lovely and welcoming, the room was clean and tidy and it was just the little things that made it special

The quality of the room was great, and we really enjoyed the balcony hot tub. The food next door is of a really high quality, and service was very friendly and efficient. The team go above and beyond to help, especially Amy. She is incredible, and a true asset to the company!

The food was great quality, but some of the options on the vegetarian breakfast felt quite random - like a compilation of vegetarian suitable things, put together (sweetcorn fritter, fried halloumi, sliced avocado, with standard eggs, beans and mushroom). The toast and tomato were also both too hard. Vegetarian sausages or something more in keeping with a standard breakfast would have been better (vegetarian of 25 years)

We loved every aspect of our stay. My wife didn't want to leave. Warm welcome on arrival, and the room was set up for our anniversary with Rose petals on the bed and a nice card. Very nice intimate touch. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and comfortable. The spa facilities are private and has everything you need. We have stayed in similar priced rooms, but this experience far exceeded our expectations. The personal touch, the staff, the location and the facilities avaliable are all excellent, we will be booking again for a two night stay for our birthdays in February.

The view from our room wasn't fantastic, but with a great room, spa and a comfortable friendly environment, we didn't care.

The beds were large and comfortable. The hot tub on the balcony was lovely and kept its heat well (not a jet style hot tub but I really liked that it wasn’t). Room was modern and liked you had an app to order room service (although we did not). Shower was large and plenty of hot water. Rooms had good lighting and mirrors (something I find a lot of places lack and are needed when you want to get dressed up for dinner). We had dinner at the adjacent restaurant (this is also where you check in). Food and staff at the restaurant were lovely.

The TV checked us out early so we were unable to use streaming or Wi-Fi the day of departure. I was unable to connect my phone or get DAB signal on the radio so had to use the TV to play radio. Cups for tea were really small. These were really really minor points, I’m sure if I had mentioned to staff they would have rectified all of this for us but we enjoyed our stay so much we were happy to leave things as they were.

This place honestly is a hidden gem, you wouldn't realise from the outside how nice this place is! The decor is very modern and comfortable at the same time, the shower was lovely and the whole decor just screamed out luxury boutique hotel we absolutely loved it and the bonus was the hot tub as a couple this was really nice after a day of exploring the peaks it was the perfect way to just relax and soak. I would definitely come back here!

Lovely spacious room, comfy large bed and fluffy pillows, great shower, great detail from the iron/board, hairdryer, wine glasses , corkscrew, tea leaves and stocked fridge, bonus with the pub a few doors down and they do amazing pizzas

I mentioned it was my birthday when booking, I assumed a few balloons would have been in the room, but nothing, I would have expected a little something

Room was immaculate. The staff were so accommodating at the bowling Green inn which owns the hotel. They were attentive during service, made our stay enjoyable and couldn’t have done more to help us feel welcome. Bed was super comfy. Felt very luxurious, especially with all the extra amenities in the room, e.g., complimentary drinks, coffee machine, robes for the hot tub, under floor heating and temperature controls for the room, and toiletries.

If we were to be picky, the toilet roll holder was broke/coming loose.

The staff were really friendly from the moment we got there until the moment we left! The room was lovely, clean, tidy, well stocked and equipped. Information about parking, check in/out, restaurant was all really clear. The Bowling Green was superb, friendly and organised staff and the food was superb

Could have done with privacy glass on the left panel of the balcony as could see/be seen in the hot tub by the occupants in the next room

A lovely place to stay, very modern and clean, felt private and quiet which was great, room service/food was easy to order and tasted great (theres a useful app)! Staff were attentive and friendly, all in all great few days away in a gorgeous location, the hot tub was also a luxury and well maintained!

Very high end finish to the room and spa area. Lovely pub attached with great food. Secure parking. Comfy mattress. Air con. Underfloor heating. Gorgeous bath in room. Lovely shower and products. Complementary drinks in fridge. Location on walking route. Quiet room.

Very hard pillows made sleep difficult, would be good to have choice of firm and soft as there were 4. We hoped there might be a view but it's on a main road
