Located 10/15 minutes away from Alton Towers....Fantastic welcome from the owner Peter,arrived a little earlier than the time we said,but not a problem... room was lovely and clean and a large ensuite... had the option to use the lounge if wanted to,we didn't, but a lovely lounge if wanted to.... High street just around the corner where theys pubs,restaurants to eat and drink.We asked Peter for recommendations where to visi the morning we checked out, he suggested Buxton which is about 50 mins away, so we visited and was a very nice place, we even stayed there for the night and came home today, so thankyou Peter for the recommendation... Breakfast at Fairfield was excellent... would definitely stay again if visiting the erea again value for money... Thank you, Peter.

Property is ideally based for racecourse approx 15 mins stroll. Centre with pubs/food approx 10 mins. Room was clean with hairdryer and plenty of shower gels/shampoo etc. Good shower and plenty of towels supplied. Good sized tele in room and tea/coffee supplied with kettle and biscuits. Hosts were very friendly and aporoachable when needed. Breakfast superb with very large cooked breakfast/toast and also fresh fruit cocktail and yoghurt. Will definitely stay there again. Let us keep car on drive while we done a bit of shopping after checking out.

This is possibly the best b&b my wife and I have ever been to!The accomodation far exceeded our expectation given the price we paid. Pete the owner was genuinely a great person and the breakfast he provided was exceptional. From the moment we arrived we could see the attention to detail Pete and his wife had put into the place. Once again simply an exceptional place!

To try to find fault with a place like this is nigh on impossible so just for the hell of it I'll say the breakfast could have been bought to our room and served on Wedgewood China!

Peter & his lovely wife are running an exceptional bed & breakfast. The room is very comfortable with lovely comfortable bed & bedding. Lovely bathroom & hot shower. Everything you need is there, fridge with milk, kettle, tea & coffee. Nice big tv. The breakfast was 10/10 delicious! The location is superb walking distance to bars & restaurants & only a 20 min drive to Alton towers. I would recommend to stay here to anyone & if we find ourselves this way again it would be my first choice again.

Wonderful host , great room that exceeded expectations with lovely en-suite, a silent fridge, fan and TV with Netflix, plus a fantastic breakfast. Couldn't ask for more from a B&B visit. Just a short walk to the pleasant town centre for pubs and food too with a good sized supermarket on the way. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

they thought of all the little things like having plugs and extension leads by the bed, having a mini fridge with water bottles. The bed was extremely comfortable, the bathroom was well equipped and spacious and there were plenty of mirrors. The breakfast was also delicious. Thank you.

Lovely, clean and comfortable room with lots of extras, such as TV, mini fridge with water, tea and coffee making facilities. En suite bathroom was beautifully clean and had lots of added extras such as shower gel, shampoo, conditioner, packaged sponge. Breakfast was exceptional and very much set us up for the day. The host, Peter was also excellent. Very welcoming and helpful with local information.

The room was lovely and had everything we needed, the host Peter was also lovely and made sure we was ok throughout our stay and done an amazing breakfast I must say. The drive to Alton towers was 15minutes roughly and so simple, so glad we decided to stay more local to it, as the park is amazing and fun but so huge, and after all the walking we then got to relax back at the room before driving home the next day.

This is an outstanding b&b! We were made to feel very welcome by Ally. The room was excellent, a comfortable bed, lovely ensuite, tea and coffee making facilities, even a little fridge! All spotlessly clean and fresh. Pete cooked us an amazing breakfast, vegan for me, full English for my husband. We would recommend 24 Fairfield Road and would definitely return if in the area again.

Second time we have stayed here and it is just perfect for us for our trip to the races . The proprietors are so accommodating and welcoming . Room is perfect and the breakfast is fantastic . Will definitely book again next year if this little gem is available . Would highly recommend.
