Barmouth Beach Club

The location was quiet of a night and very close to the beach. The property is kept to a very high standard in and out. Very comfortable rooms with everything you need for a relaxing stay. The rooms are very modern and the bathroom. Plenty of tea coffee and milk available for that cupa when you came home from a day of exploring or being on the beach .The staff were amazing nothing was too much trouble to make your stay enjoyable . A great hearty breakfast in the morning set you up for the day and a good choice of food. The Welsh breakfast was brilliantly cooked exactly how you liked it. Outside there was nice garden furniture to relax on in the sun and a grass area for the kids to play games like football etc. This is the best holiday property I have ever stayed in, holidaying in Wales with the family

There was nothing I didn't like

Size of room with lovely view of the sea.could open the windows to make an open balcony. Breakfast was quite good. Stair lift enabled my wife to get upstairs.

Pillows were very uncomfortable. The bed was too far away from the tv and couldn't swivel it around enough to see it properly. There was nothing to sit on to watch tv apart from two single beds which is where the original double bed was with that nice view looking out the window when woke up. Sadly missed with the bed placed in a dingy position with a natural light over the bed which bothered us when shone early in the morning.

Great location right by the sea with a 20 minute stroll into Barmouth - means you can be a bit away from the busy town but close enough to walk to the shops, pubs etc. Also close to the beach and hillside for good walks. Staff were super friendly and helpful and made us feel welcome. Parking available and included a good tasty breakfast.

The room was a bit tired and lacked personality so didn't feel very homely but it's exactly as the picture shows. The loft room is a funny design so hard to enjoy the sea view or the sofa area but for one night in winter, it was great for what we needed. The restaurant was quite cluttered.

Clean, tidy and well equipped. Own car park. About a 25 min walk into Barmouth along the promenade, which is ideal when watching the awesome sunsets. Lovely, sandy beach a couple of minutes from the property. Friendly and accommodating staff. Good breakfast with a range of choices. Crossing the train track and opening two gates not ideal but not an issue really. Trains are infrequent and signals tell you when safe to cross - don’t let this put you off.

Minor issue - shower took ages to get hot water through then difficult to regulate temp.

The Staff were pleasant, friendly and efficient, nothing was too much trouble. The premises were superb, as was the food! I love the positive attitude to disability & sustainability and am keen to support them if I can (yes I mean financially!)

If the rear fire door access to the stair lift could be opened from outside, as a wheelchair user, that would have been excellent & saved navigation of the inner doors that open towards you! A tiny niggle but I couldn't find a bin in our room other that the one in the loo. Vehicle access via the level crossing is pretty dire but not the owners responsibility. We will definitely return

Amazing staff; got an introductory text message at 10am of the checking-in date, even offering early check-in. Kayleigh was amazing, kept in touch all day until we checked in with bespoke directions. The room was well appointed with plenty of concealed storage; great view, lovely balcony window. Breakfast was a very family orientated affair, with the server having allocated a table in advance & addressing us by our names. Good quality breakfast in a nice space.

Carpets were a bit worn.

Excellent breakfast. Spotless rooms. Staff Damian & Mandie lovely. Very cozy and friendly. Brilliant breakfast and evening meal. 7 out of 10 for location..... It would be scarey for older people taking your car over the trainline, watching for a green light, then get out of their car and open two lots of gates, and then get out of their car again and shut them again We we ok doing it...better than going down the narrow lane, which is very narrow.

The tap in our bathroom sink did not work properly, it just kept moving around when we tried to turn it on. Getting the right temperature on the shower was a bit awkward. But minor thing

Great location for us as we were cycling so didnt mind that it was at the far end of barmouth. If you like a long walk or dont drink then its ok as you'll need to drive do town. Its nice an quiet at night and theres parking at the hotel unlike others in town. Great breakfast and host were very accomodating.

The accommodation is relatively new so was great place to stay with very friendly and helpful staff,upstairs rooms had view out to sea from velux balcony, great breakfast sets you up for the day, plenty of parking , its about 30 minutes walk into town crossing the rail line and walk down the promenade where you will find shops pubs etc. Would definitely recommend 👌

Very minor but the sink tap loose and by the time the hot water comes through the sink has nearly filled. As I say very minor so would recommend this accommodation....

The hospitality was brilliant. Rooms were lovely and quiet which my husband and I like. Food was delicious I don't normally eat cook breakfast but had one both days I was there. L9cation was great right by tye beach. 20 minutes walk to the town but there is a land train if you can't walk that far. We were that happy with it booked again for next year and also bring my daughter and her family with us. Recommend it
