From the moment we arrived, when we were met by Brad the host we felt welcome and that care would be taken to make us comfortable. This proved fully to be the case.. Nothing was too much trouble to that end. A deliberate decision to concentrate on a small number of guests means that they can have the best and individual attention. The breakfast was delicious, our room, with a delightful view over the estuary was large and comfortable and we had a really lovely stay. We would thoroughly recommend No.6 as somewhere to spend a few nights to explore Barmouth and the beautiful surrounding area.

A fantastic location - directly opposite the estuary and a 5 minute walk into the town The house and room were lovely - clean, spacious, stylish and comfortable. We were welcomed with cakes, sweets and bottled water. The brownies were amazing!! The view from the room was second to none - mountains, woods, sea and river estuary. We felt relaxed straight away. Philippa and Brad were very accommodating and friendly. They suggested places to eat and visit which was really helpful. A trip to Fanny Talbot’s is highly recommended. The breakfast was made to order and filled us up for the whole day - all lovely! Thank you for a great visit - we’ll be back.

I rarely take the time to review stuff, but in this case I have to make an exception. This B&B was hands down one of the best places we‘ve ever stayed in. Brad and Philippa are so welcoming and master the balance between being helpful and always up for a chat - and never being intrusive at the same time. Rooms are big and tasteful, the ocean view is stunning, the town is just around the corner and breakfast is fresh and delicious. All for an extremely fair price. Highly recommended!

Parking is along the street and official Spots can be hard to find. It was fine in the end though as there are always solutions.

Relaxing holiday, clean safe comfy room with amazing view. Breakfasts were well presented and to a high standard nothing was too much trouble, the level of service was delivered confidently and thoughtfully. This is a well managed property, you feel that there is an experienced team running this and every detail has been duly considered and implemented, the welcome gift was a lovely touch. The menu is very well put together.

Whilst sustainability is to be applauded and we all need to embrace and support it is just to be noted that there is no regular daily room clean, bed made or towel change. The flip side is you know no one is coming into the room while you are out, you are not wasting resources and absolutely anything you require will not be any trouble to the hosts.

The hotel was situated just out of town so was super quiet of a night, Brad greeted us upon arrival and showed us to our room, and wow what a stunning room. Super clean, and stylish with new fixtures and bathroom. The whole place was spotless too. Along with the amazing view we couldn't ask for more. Breakfast is pre-order, at a time to suit you and being vegetarian wasn't a problem to these guys either, even had the choice to have it in the room whilst admiring the scenery. The breakfast was super tasty, non greasy and presented beautifully. If you need advice on where to go for either a walk or for something to eat, they can advise accordingly. Will happily return here when we need a break from reality. Thank you both for such a great relaxing break.

Fabulous stay at No 6 Barmouth. Faultless from start to finish. Book early to avoid disappointment though. Our preferred date for same time next year is already gone .....

Nothing at all.

Everything about our lovely break at No 6 was superb, even before we arrived. We were kept up to date with everything about our stay. There was a slight issue with the room, but it was nipped in the bud and sorted out with a clear and simple plan of action, which was followed down to the last exact detail. I have worked in hospitality for a long time now time and Brad and Philippa are two of the best service providers that I have had the pleasure to meet. Would recommend No6 again and again.

Nothing springs to mind. Superb break

Fabulous B&B in a lovely location overlooking the estuary and Barmouth bridge. The room was spacious and comfortable with a wonderful view. Philippa and Brad made us feel very welcome and provided us with a delicious complimentary brownie and bag of lovely sweets on arrival. They were excellent hosts, friendly and helpful but not intrusive. Breakfast was absolutely delicious and very nicely presented, all served at the table. Overall we had a wonderful stay and would not hesitate to return.

The hosts were absolutely brilliant, nothing was too much trouble. The room was amazing, very spacious tastefully decorated and lovely views. We also had the option of having breakfast in our room. There was a wide choice on the breakfast menu, we had the big 6, perfectly cooked and very tasty! We had lovely weather and sat on the terrace in the evening watching the world go by! The location was brilliant , just a short walk from the town. We will definitely be going back!

There was nothing we didn't like

Large, airy rooms that are spotless and decorated to a high standard, with wonderful views over the estuary Philippa and Brad are excellent hosts - friendly, knowledgeable and willing to help however they can. Brads breakfasts are a delicious start to the day. This was our 3rd stay with them, and we’ll certainly choose to return again on another trip to Barmouth

For us there is nothing to dislike, however there are a lot of steps, which some people may need to be aware of
