Having dietary requirements (GF) can always be a challenge however upon booking (and asking the availability of GF breakfast) and arriving to ask about dinner options was so straight forward as immediately given confidence as owner knew exactly what he could cook and adapt on the menu to ensure needs met. The food was fabulous - freshly cooked, very tasty and wholesome food. Priced very well! Great selection of 'quirky' ciders and beers to try. The room was spacious and spotless! Facilities ideal and grateful for Wi-Fi as in the area mobile data was 'hit and miss'! Towel selection appreciated and instructions clear! Hosts/Owners/Staff very sociable and friendly - gave great advice about where and when to visit. When visiting his area again will look at this as our first choice.

Not a dislike but parking is available at the public car park one/two minute walk away but preferable to parking and/or blocking the narrow village street. Not a problem for us but appreciate others may think differently.

the staff are amazing. the food was tasty. no complaints there. the room was ideal for the stay we had, it was clean, well stocked with the essentials tea coffee etc. towels were provided with shampoo and shower gel. WiFi was hit and miss in the room but in the bar area was spot on. our ipad linked in to it in the room so we could watch Netflix on an evening but our phones were struggling. not that was a bad thing in some cases. Location for what we had planned the trip for was spot on. we liked it that much we have booked again for next year but longer.

parking but thats has nothing to do with the B&B. we did manage to get a spot on both evenings.

Excellent and very comfortable Inn in the quaint slate-quarrying village of Corris. Supremely comfortable bed mattress and beautifully equipped room. No TV, which for me is not a problem but some people may not be happy about. Excellent breakfast included in room rate and good pun food in the bar. Friendly and helpful owners - all good. No car park at the Inn itself but free village car park just a minute's walk down the road.

Slight smell of cooking (hot oil) in my room from the kitchen below. But a very small problem in the overall scheme of things - otherwise all excellent!

stay was fantastic , lovely hosts , fantastic breakfast and especially evening meal , lovely and peaceful , spotless room , will definitely visit again when in the area . prices were very reasonable including evening meal . no TV in the room which was a nice suprise meant I went to sleep earlier

only downfall was the parking very limited on street parking but not a criticism and there are no convenience store nearby so if you forget anything you need to get it on the way in nearby Machynlleth 15mins away . again not a criticism.

Very friendly place. Lovely rooms. Couldn't fault anything. First class breakfast

Its not really a dislike, we just never read the rules but it's worth noting that you have to be in by 11pm. We were attending a wedding so it was rather early for us to leave the celebration. If we had of read this before we wouldn't of booked here.... otherwise everything was great

A friendly family business in a proper pub providing a warm welcome. Proper pub food, a choice of three real ales and one cider on hand-pump. A comfortable clean room with pleasant decor, a comfortable bed with a modern en-suite. It was lovely to hear, in these grim times, they are planning further alterations including a bar window with a view of Cader Idris

There wasn't anything not to like. The Rooms are modern and newly renovated. The bathrooms were tidy and larger than expected. The food was lovely for breakfast and the evening meal and the village its based in a picturesque hillside nestled in the Welsh hills. The staff were friendly and I couldn't recommend this place enough

I don't think I could personally fault anything here.

How friendly everyone was and how I was put at ease during my stay. My dog and myself were made to feel very welcome

Only having access outside the building at night via the fire exit. Where work was currently being undertaken, the access was being used to store some items making access to the road not easy.

Beautiful location, great price, great service, all very clean.

Absolutely everything was fantastic. Please bear in mind that this is a very fringe issue, however the Bed in the room has a fixed headboard which caused an issue as I was longer than the bed, if you aren't over about 6''3 this issue will likely not affect you.

Lovely little pub. A real hub of the community everyone was really friendly. The rooms are lovely and very recently refreshed, New carpets and very comfy beds.

Awkward to park as it is a very small village with narrow roads so bear this in mind.
