Very welcoming host in lovely cottage in very quiet hamlet. Great breakfasts and good wi fi. I enjoyed my break of 3 nights after so many years of not being in Wales. It's a good place to stay for walkers and cyclists. It's a great place as a base to explore central Wales, the Dyfi Valley, the Osprey Centre and the coastline of Aberdovey to Barmouth. The train service to the North and to Aber is just 3 miles away in Machynlleth and is frequent enough to have day trips and then returning to the base. The station has free parking for train travellers and there's some paid for parking about 5 minutes away at a storage centre. The nearest pub is the Dovey Valley Hotel at Cemmaes Road or there are at least five in Machynlleth.

I would like there to be a dedicated space for parking as it was difficult to turn and park close to the cottage. In fairness it does say no parking but that makes it hard when you are in a car.

The host is amazing. She picked me up from the station and offered me a left everyday (for a rate less than the local taxi company) to the bike park, town or shop In general just super helpful with everything

The coffee in the morning. It might be an english thing but only instant coffee was available The location Is remote and there is no place in the area where one could get dinner.. This point so did not bother me but it would be good to know it in advance: there is a dog and two cats in the place

The host, Teleri, was very welcoming and couldn't do enough for my son and I, including ferrying us to and from Machynlleth for the comedy festival. A lovely lady, friendly and extremely informative about the area. Rooms were comfy and Taleri's breakfasts (continental) set us up for the day. Diolch yn fawr Teleri!

Llanwryn is quite isolated with no facilities so having your own transport would be the best plan if staying there. It's a beautiful spot though!

Teleri was very welcoming and made me feel right at home. The room was clean and tidy, as was the bathroom. I was very impressed with the breakfast, which was substantial as well as the tea and coffee station in the room. There was a secure space to keep my mountain bike, and I was able to park my car easily.

It's a fair bit away from anywhere, so you have to drive but that's just to be expected really. Otherwise you can't fault it.

Owner (Teleri) was most friendly and helpful. Beautifully restored country cottage provides an interesting and intimate setting. Two very clean single rooms and one bathroom. Comfortable beds. TVs were a bit of a challenge. Superb, cooked breakfast, with cereals, fruit and yoghurts. Peaceful, rural location, yet strong wi-fi connection from local BT fibre cabinet! Great photos of owner's thoroughbred horses - a conversation starter if ever there was one.

It is a gem! My room had a view over green hills and I could see sheep in the opposite field. The host was kindness itself. We had lovely breakfasts with lots of fruit available and welsh bottled water for our days out. It was perfectly located for the Alternative Technology Centre. The rooms were very comfortable and warm.

We had a lovely stay, so nothing springs to mind!

Charm and character of a lovely country cottage. Clean and tidy very quiet and picturesque location. Loved this cottage. And the lady running the b&b was excellent, could not do enough for me.

Could not find any faults with this property.
