Golders Park Hotel

Generally quiet although on the main road, nice to be able to open the window too, pretty stained glass one. No fridge but no need for one night stay. Good sized room considering other similar type hotels even more crammed. Modern furnishings and kettle for tea/coffee. Mattress comfortable too.

Doors bang shut loud and bedframe is metal and very sqeaky. Didn't bother me too much. Had earplugs in all night as that's a must for commuter overnighters. Better value than neighbouring similar hotels though so would defo stay again.

was £90 for a quadruple room which was good value for money! clean bathroom & bedroom. staff were very accommodating, check in was 2pm but we arrived at 10am & were able to leave bags at the property until we came back later to check in! short walking distance from Golders Green underground station & the Main Street! would use again! left tablet in room & hotel were kind enough to ensure it was returned to my home address which is much appreciated!

The staff were so helpful, attentive and kind. I was met by Ricky on reception, who offered me a free upgrade to a larger room, he explained all the important details for my stay at the hotel (such as the need to use a door code if coming in late after 11pm), and offered to take my bags to the room for me, which was a great help as I had been carrying them all day. The room was massive, cosy and warm (was freezing outside), I had my own fridge even. The only thing missing was hangers for the wardrobe but I didn't mind.

I liked everything. The hotel and friendly staff exceeded my expectations.

Cheap and cheerful. Read bad reviews and was not sure to book or not. Booked it for the price and was nicely surprised. Reviews were deceiving. The place is alright and room provided as advised and was clean enough as expected for this price range. Staff are very helpful and welcoming.

You get what you pay for and donot expect luxury for a low price accommodation.

Excellent budget hotel in North London, literally right off the M1. Just 5 mins from Golders Green tube and 20 mins on Northern line into the West End. Lovely, helpful reception staff who recommended a fab local Turkish restuarant (Hosh) and extended our free parking until 6pm the following day. Room for 4 friends was basic, but exceptionally clean and tidy and unbelievable value for money.

Beds were a little past their best but the bed linen, bathroom and room was spotlessly clean.

The location was a bit tricky to find, far from the station for at least 10-15minutes walk. The room we booked was unbelievably big, the facilities are good except that we couldn't find the main switch which was a bit strange.

Location of the switch would have been better and the door was not good as well that it will break anytime, we had to be careful every time we opened it.

-Good value for money -They let us check in early in the morning when we arrived even though check in was at 14hs -Location was good because it was right in front of a bus stop and 10 min walk from the nearest tube station -Staff was kind -Comfy beds -Important: they let us leave our bags in the hotel while after check out so we could go for a stroll around the city.

-I'm a sound sleeper and I was able to sleep well but I have to say it can turn very noisy at night, kind of water running through pipes, squealing noises. -Bed was noisy at times. -The wash basin needs to be unclogged immediately, it's a bit uncomfortable.

The woman at the front desk was so helpful and friendly I rarely travel alone as I have anxiety but she was excellent!!, i felt welcomed and safe their :D 10/10 safe will definitely recommend people to stay and will revisit if my travels ever take me to Golder Green. The price was excellent to definitely got my money worth.

I cannot give one single dislike. It was perefect.

The staff were very kind - thank you! The bed was comfortable and I appreciated the complementary tea, coffee, milk & soap. The location is good, close to lots of restaurants and the tube station. Half an hour to Kings in a calm neighbourhood. Overall the place was quaint and I appreciated an effort to decorate with art for example.

Some things were broken like the heater, and there was some trash (empty soap bottles) on the toilet floor and the sheets/tea mug in the room and were not totally clean. Double check your room description - I didn't realise a "separate" private toilet would mean walking through the public hall to get to it.

Parking was available on the driveway when we got there. Room was clean and staff were helpful. If you're looking for a cheap place to stay for a night or two in London then this is more than adequate.

One thing I'd say is that the windows on room 1 need fixing/resealing, otherwise guests are going to have a very cold night come winter. Other than that, totally fine for an overnight stay. Would use again.
