The staff was absolutely amazing and went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. We were even able to check in early. The location is great with a bus stop right outside and lots of restaurants and stores nearby, as well as a pub across the street for food. The beds were comfortable, shower had great pressure and temperature, and the room was very spacious.

The downstairs pub unfortunately wasn't in operation during our time here, except for a private party on Friday night. The bathroom is very small. We did have a mouse in our room, but it's our fault for leaving food waste in the bin to attract it. Wifi was spotty, but we were the room at the very end of the hall.

Very simple: EVERYTHING! The hotel is in a rather quieter part of Northern London, but Kilburn Station is only a 10 minute walk. From there, the Jubilee line will take you anywhere you want. Rooms are what they are advertised to be: nothing fancy, but comfortable, spacious, and clean. Breakfast can be added for 6 GBP and is great value (again, not fancy, but good and complete). Christin and her staff are super nice and helpful. Thanks for everything!!!

I didn’t mind as it was to be expected: the hotel is around/above a pub that is open Wednesday to Sunday. No drunks, no fights, nothing of the sorts, but the place is buzzing with life in the evenings

- The guest house is real value for money, the location is good, less than 15 min to the central, with bus stop just in front of the hotel. - The staff were super friendly and professional, especially Christine. - Responsive and flexible to special requests. - The room was small but equipped with all the basic needs. - The room and bathroom were clean and comfortable.

- No one to help with the luggage, so it may be a bit tricky with heavy luggage to climb up the stairs. - The curtains are thin, so if you can't tolerate light while sleeping, make sure you have a sleeping mask.

Perfect location for public transport, fantastic pub across the road, Decor was olde worlde and very quaint with great views overlooking the main broadway. Felt safe and was extremely warm. No noise from other customers. Nice dark room for a good night's sleep.

Walking up two flights of stairs but was great exercise for us. Had to turn down the heating as it was too warm and didn't want to keep the window open for too long as it was counter productive with central heating being on.

The continental style breakfast was very good, fe. the fresh strawberries made my mornings. Location-wise it was quite handy, not too far from the nearest metro station and close to some grocery stores, shops, a pub and so on. The room was spaceous enough and everything was kept clean. The room was on street level facing the backyard sundeck. We were lucky the bar wasn't open during our stay as it would have been a really different experience with customers making noise right behind the window.

Some things were broken, like the glass shelf in the bathroom and my bed had a wooden board that was broken in half. The bed was also very wobbly and the duvet was a bit torn. No airconditioning which was a drag due to hot weather.

This is the third time I've stayed here while visiting family locally - which proces The Windmill's great! It's very clean, comfortable and very well located. Lovely old building. Simple, but excellent value for money. First time it's been self check-in - worked fine. Was in Room 100 at the front - a tiny bit noisier than previous rooms but ok. Good amount of tea and coffee - and hot water...

...I couldn't work out how to reduce the temperature of the water in the shower - really hot! Tried but couldn't work it out. Also, it would be lovely to see the friendly staff from previous visits again.

I have marked staff as a smiley. The lady who checked us in was beyond perfect couldnt do enough to help. The bad staff bit is below. The room was warm, comfortable and clean. Lady who checked us in made sure we had everything (including wifi and extra biscuits for my daughter) the bed was lovely and plenty of storage.

Back to staff. A loud knock on the door way before 10 to hurry us up to be out by 11 was not only impatient but rude. It let us down. We was prepared to be out by then but we then felt rushed and there wasnt even someone to check us out.

The hotel although old has been updated to be clean and full of character. All the staff were friendly especially Victoria who saw to our needs perfectly. The breakfast is worth the money and offers excellent value with as much as you want. Friendly bar of an evening with Friday night seeing a live band which really made our stay a pleasure -Finishing at 11.00pm to comply with the local regulations. Will definately stay here again as the hotel is only a ten minute walk from Kilburn underground which makes visiting London easy

Nothing -All was good here.

Friendly and helpful staff. Room and bathroom we're both compact, but plenty big enough for the time we spent there. The room was hot and we needed a fan to make it OK to sleep. A continental breakfast was available on a pay as you go basis and we had this each morning. On the first day I asked if there was gluten free bread, which there wasn't, but the next day it was bought and provided for the rest of our stay. We were able to leave our bags on the last day and return to collect them before catching a train home.

We were happy with our stay.

The room was basic but extremely comfortable with beautiful bedding and furnishings, quiet (at the back) and with excellent heating and ample hot water. I slept well. Breakfast isn't served but there are places next door / opposite which serve breakfast so not a problem. Tea and coffee-making in room - plenty of tea bags. Good location with bus stops outside and opposite so easy to get to Kilburn tube station or straight into central London. Very good value for money. I will stay again.

Maybe some hooks on the back of the bathroom door for towels etc and more space for toiletries but just a minor gripe.
