King Solomon Hotel- Golders Green

This hotel is situated in a perfect location - easily accesible from the airport Stansted and has got a good connection to the centre. The architecture and atmosphere of the quarter Golders green is very pleasant and safe. Our family could stay together in one room (large enough), everybody had his comfort and space. The price was absolutely advantageous. The staff was very friendly and always helpful (e.g. we could left our lugguge before the check-in and also after the check-out). We are returning guests and although last time the room was prettier and in better condition, this time it was still proper and clean.

The wi-fi was very weak. In the room we haven´t heard any noises from outside (from the street), but every return of the neighbours was quite noisy und intrusive.

The location is very good, the underground is really close by and it gives you easy access to the city centre. There is also a bus stop right next to the hotel with buses taking you straight to Wembley Stadium which was very important to me and my friends. There is also very good communication to the airport. The neighborhood is nice, lots of shops and nice restaurants most of them are Kosher so if you it is important to you it is a really good place! The room was clean and very comfortable, with everything that was needed. The stuff was really nice and helpful

The room was very warm, but it was also warm outside so it was pretty understandable.

We spent a three days at hotel and we were satisfied with it. The room we received was clean and tidy, and the bathroom was also clean and well-maintained. We really liked that we had a kettle in the room, which allowed us to make tea or coffee whenever we wanted. The check-in process was very smooth and without any problems, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Throughout our entire stay, we felt taken care of and we could always turn to the staff with any questions or requests. In summary, our stay at hotel was okay, and we were satisfied with the quality of services and hospitality we received. Although the hotel did not stand out in any particular way, it is definitely a good choice for people looking for a clean and comfortable place to stay."

My room was quite small and dark, there was only a tiny window high up by the ceiling (I could only reach it by standing on a stool). Walls were thin, in fact I could hear other guests. When coming from the outside, my room smelled like smokers do (not like nicotine or smoking itself but like people who smoke and their clothes stink). No other room was available to change to when I arrived, and the next days I got a room deodorant and got used to it once inside. The floor was carpeted. The towel hanger in the bathroom was too low for the long towel which would therefore touch the floor.

The staff were great and the room did what we required it for and was close to the underground so we could get around London easily.

The only thing that we had a small issue with was. 1 - kids running around late at night shouting between 10:30 & 12 pm, we couldn't get off to sleep it would help if other Guests respected other people staying at the hotel. PS: this may have been a one off.. 2 - Plug socket only two double sockets that are taken up by the kettle and t.v on the other side of the room and if you need to charge anything or use anything when laying down you couldn't.. If you can't add extra sockets I'd recommend leaving an extension lead in the room for guests.. I would still recommend this hotel because over all I was very happy with our stay..

Great location with bus stop right outside the front door. Staff helpful and friendly. Comfortable , clean room with view onto Golders Green Road. Plenty of local shops and restaurants within easy walking distance . Everything we needed at a reasonable price. Had to add an extra day due to rail strike and were able to keep same room. Have stayed here several times over the years and always satisfied. Basic but ideal base.

TV remote very grubby - poor attention to basic hygiene especially given recent events. Small sink in bathroom great for handwashing but no good for filling kettle - it does not fit under the taps! A simple but understandable oversight easily remedied by filling cups and pouring into kettle. Not a problem, just food for thought when designing facilities.

Staff were very friendly. Gave us all information what bus we needed etc so help us with the strikes currently going on. I've just has a gastric sleeve so I wasn't able to have the all you can eat breakfast for £10 it would be pointless. Both my sisters had the breakfast, staff allowed me a bowl of porridge for free as I only used a tiny amount even tho I offered to pay them. I thought that was very kind of them.

The corridors wasn't hoovered and carpets badly stained. Shower had mould that could be cleaned. Bathroom smelt of urine. They could wash skirting boards in corridors in zaflora to help smell nice. Bathroom definitely needed a deep clean. Beds were comfortable but only 2 cups when there was 3 of us staying also.

Staff very helpful and pleasant, handy for bus and local shops. Room quiet, well decorated and clean with comfy bed. Good view onto Golders Green Road. Corridors much improved due to redecoration.

Bathroom needs a shelf on which to put toiletries. This could easily be done by replacing redundant towel hoop next to sink. Shower excellent pressure but tray quickly fills due to clogged up outlet. Fire exit sign at bottom of stairs near rooms 98 - 111 needs to be put back as wrong turn leads to a dead end. Suggestions rather than criticisms intended to enhance guest experiences.

The place and it's facilities are fantastic. The receptionists are so awesome, especially two ladies (one in mid thirties and the other in early twenties). They provided every information and assistance I ever needed during my stay. I would give them both a rating of 9.5/10😇. Overall, the place is worth staying at and I highly recommend it.

The janitor who was taking care of my room didn't quite enjoy her job.There was a time she left my room unvaccumed, the bathtub was never properly cleaned so I cleaned it myself during my entire period of stay. But with time, she will do better. The manager is a little mean.I would generously give her a 4/10 rating.

Close to where I wanted to stay, clean, comfortable, friendly staff.

We took 2 rooms that were on the same floor but not next to each other. In the next door room was a school party of teenage boys from France who behaved far better than I did at their age, but they still made a lot of noise that came into our room (especially when they were waking each other up in the morning)
