The Crown Hotel

Very pleased with room size and bathroom. Pleased with the quietness of my room, as requested. Staff always very helpful. This large hotel does have a certain charm and character, even if located near a busy road. I thought that the overall stay exceeded my expectations for the price paid, but was told that next time I could get a better price by telephoning the hotel directly, which I will do. The only downside thing I would mention is that the swimming pool was out of use, but that is clearly due to Covid restrictions. Maybe next year?

Why does the price of breakfast in hotels always have to be so expensive? Maybe there could be two prices - a lower one for a continental breakfast and a higher one for a full cooked breakfast.

The hotel itself was lovely with a great bar. The room, albeit being somewhat dated, was large and comfortable. The bathroom had a bath and a walk-in shower, which is rare these days but welcomed. The staff were always friendly and amenable. I had to print off some documents at reception, which the receptionist did for me, no questions asked.

Sadly the hotel is not in a nice area. It really is a gem in the rough. I'd never stay here again purely because of the area. The hotel is a good 15 minute walk to Kilburn tube station, which in turn is around 20-25 minutes ride to Central London.

Absolutely delighted with every aspect of my experience. Handy in terms of position (the bus stop is called "the crown" so you really can't miss it). Staff super polite and professional, beyond helpful and made my stay really worth a come back soon. The rooms are nice and very clean, loved the big bathroom and it was squeaky clean. The bed, a double, was big and comfy and something that I love and I find hard to find.... The curtains were ACTUALLY black out ones. I 100% advise to book a room in this gorgeous structure, nothing negative to say about it. The breakfast was delicious and also the restaurant staff was my favourite, extra kudos to them because I asked countless stupid questions, but I can't function before my coffee. Loved every minute there. I will gladly book again, amazing value for a reasonable price.

Nothing to say! The hotel itself is a bit of a maze, but the staff is super helpful and I had no problems.

They took each and every reviews seriously, it didnt turn out as bad as how it was written in the earlier reviews. I did some research and after having comparing the prices, room sizes, reviews and location and i have accidentally booked this hotel by mistake as it was out of London city. Actually this is kind of an accidental gem found. Room was very spacious compared to those near to the city which are so packed that you cant even open up your luggage. Although it is abit off from the city, it is very convenient and easily accessible via bus and trains. Initial plan was to try to stay for 3 nights out of my 10 days in London, but due to such good service and room given, I ended up extended my stay for 3+3+2days with only at this hotel. The staffs are super friendly and helpful.

Excellent location. Sedate atmosphere. Lovely ambience. Nice lounge. Quite relaxing. Several nearby eatries. Nice bar with courteous staff. Bus ride down the road to several outlet stores. StraightBus ride from front of Hotel to London City Centre. Very helpful staff that attended to needs promptly and courteously. Kay at the Front desk was exceptional from arrival to departure. Must be commended. Lovely experience all in all. Would definitely recommend.

Bath tub could be bigger.

Great location, on a busy bus route, breakfast was plentiful and good. Friendly Staff, slight problem with our room, reported it to reception, no problem they moved us to a bigger better room immediately

Understaffed in the pub/Restaurant, they prefer you to sit and be served but they don't have enough staff to service this. Waiting a long time for food, when it arrived one meal was stone cold, No problem they said we will cook you another one, it was returned 2mins later after being microwaved, so Salmon was then overcooked and mash potato was almost solid :(

Really good location if you want to avoid Central London hotel prices. 10-15min slow walk to Willesden Green tube on the Jubilee Line. Really lovely & helpful team. Couldn't do enough to help. Everyone we dealt with was exceptionally welcoming. The room itself was spacious & very clean.

We were told breakfast ended at 10am. It transpired it was actually 9.30am. Despite arriving at around 9.05am, several items on the buffet were not topped up & we were told they were now not going to be topped up. Really? With nearly half an hour to go? We appreciate breakfast needs to end at some point, but if it ends at 9.30am, we should be able to arrive at any time before 9.30am & still have the same selection as the people that paid the same price but arrived earlier.

We had a nice stay at the hotel. We stayed one night, we were going to Wembley to watch the football for my daughter birthday. The nearest tube station was a 15 minute walk from the hotel and the tube took us to Wembley park which was where we wanted to be. The room at the hotelwas clean and so was the bathroom. We got a family room, a double bed and two single beds. The room was spacious for us all to more around in. We booked breakfast for the next day on arrival. The breakfast was great and really good value for money. We were all full afterwards! A great stay at the hotel.

Nothing. The only bad thing was when we were given the breakfast voucher, the wrong date was written down,but easily resolved when I noticed this and a new one was issued.

This is my second time visiting this hotel and I will be returning again. The staff are lovely and very attentive. The rooms are a great size and the beds are very comfortable. This is the first time we stayed for the breakfast and we will be having it again as the value for your money is really good. I really would recommend this hotel to anyone going to London.

There are only two minor problems with this hotel. One being that the plugs in the bedroom are not the best, the ones above the desk are hard to actually put plugs in and the other one was across the room away from the bed so it’s a little difficult to charge your phone and the other problem being that it is not located near popular attractions, this doesn’t put us off though as the hotel is really good value for money meaning I’m happy to spend money on Ubers.
