The talented proprietor has created a lovely, unique, and very cleverly put-together small hotel. The welcome is genuine and friendly. The accommodation feels glamorous but relaxed. The bar is so charming too! My room was quite peaceful as it was on the top floor, and excellent value. I had a fantastic cheese and charcuterie board with a glass of wine. It was so good. Parking is easy and the wifi was very useful. My accommodation was immaculately clean and the toiletries were generous and lovely quality

My room felt chilly at times. There wasn't much storage space in my bathroom, but I did have one of their smaller rooms. There weren't drink-making facilities, unless I didn't look properly!

staying at this hotel is an experience in itself. Melanie greeted me and even managed to arrange a earlier check in for me as I was on an incredibly early morning flight. I was in a small double which is perfect for a solo traveller, but would suit a couple too. it was the perfect introduction to Belfast city and I truly felt like the main character in a movie. all the staff are so friendly and approachable, and I felt very safe despite being a solo female guest. the shower was powerful and the whole bathroom was modern yet with a vintage feel. Despite there being no TV in the room, there was books to read and plenty of sockets including a Ethernet port for me to work on my laptop. I’m very much looking forward to coming back in the summer.

my only fault is the room I was in, had a window above two heavy fire doors that kept slamming and startling me, however this didn’t happen throughout the night so slept soundly

The Harrison is an amazing place with equally amazing staff. Our large group had four rooms, each of which was lovely and unique. It was so much fun seeing everyone’s rooms and all of the unconventional and quirky pieces that they were decorated with. The staff was accommodating, helpful, understanding and very knowledgeable about the history of the building and it’s prior occupants. The breakfast here was excellent. This property is a true gem, and all of our group agreed it was our favorite property at which we stayed during our travels through Ireland.

The staff was so warm, helpful, inviting. I cannot say enough about how wonderful Sarah was. The whole place was very interesting, eclectic and fun. The location was next to queens university and the botanical garden. And though a bit far from city center, it was nice to go back to a peaceful location after a day in the city,

Though the room was lovely, it was really a bit small and tight for two people with lots of baggage. Also, the restaurant next door made it impossible to open the window or use the balcony. There are a wide variety of rooms there, so perhaps keep these things in mind when booking.

Absolutely wonderful staff - helped me bring my belongings to my room, gave thurough information about the area and recommendations for things to do, super responsive, offered to help schedule a taxi to the airport the next morning. Would stay again purely because of the great experience with staff members. Eclectic room decor was thought out and location of hotel was excellent - under 10 minutes walk to Ulster museum and Botanic Gardens, and close to some shops/restaurants.

Bed was a bit creaky and not the most comfortable.

We loved this amazing hotel - from the moment we arrived at reception until the day we, reluctantly, had to leave. Our room surpassed our expectations, with views onto the pretty tree-lined Malone Road and local landmark Fisherwick Church. Everything had been cleverly sourced to create a unique ‘chamber of distinction’ dating back decades in time but finished with modern luxuries, including a spotlessly clean en suite. Melanie explained the history behind Sir Hans Sloane, who our room was named after. Her passion for history and the Arts is infectious. We will definitely be coming back to stay.

The location is very close to the city centre - 7 mins walk and your in the interesting areas of shopping and good pubs . The only problem we had (because we live in the countryside and its very quiet ) was that the Ruby Murray room faces a busy main road and the windows are not double glazed , so it was NOISY !Slept well with ear plugs though .

The breakfast is basic croissants and yogurt with granola . A few sliced cheeses and meats available along with fresh juice and very good coffee. I had this breakfast in bed one morning , a real treat ! I think if you want cooked breakfasts you had to ask for one as they weren't offered. A TV - I know i'm a heathen ! But it would have been nice to blob out in front of the tele. after a day on my feet , we had to use our iPads , no great sacrifice I guess ?

The hotel and room design was very interesting. We were amazed. Thank you for your interest. We had a great night. They sent breakfast to our room for our anniversary.The breakfast was absolutely perfect. Everything was fresh and everything was amazing. We arrived before the check-in time, they offered us tea and the conversation was very nice. You are very kind. I highly recommend it.

everything was perfect but the heaters were not working. or we couldn't open. If we had asked, they would probably have solved it, they were very interested.

Beautiful accommodation. Quirky but Tastefully decorated. Friendly staff and a really welcoming and friendly owner. Lovely cocktail bar to have a drink before or after you go out . Private parking was so handy . Delicious continental breakfast with lots of choice .Can’t wait to stay there again next year . Thanks Melanie 😀

A small tv would have been nice just for when we getting ready to go out or to watch the news before bed but understand it doesn’t really go with the aesthetic of the rooms

This hotel is really outstanding, a rare, quirky find in Belfast. The staff made us feel so welcome, everyone was so friendly, sharing lots of local information, helped us get a taxi. We loved the style of decor, so much attention to detail, references to authors in each of the rooms, a nod to the history of the building. Breakfast was lovely, lots of options on offer. Couldn't rate this hotel high enough!
