Clean, comfortable rooms. Excellent staff both at reception and in the restaurant for breakfast. Parking was a bonus especially in Belfast. Easy walk to both Lisburn Rd and Stranmillis etc

Very good value for the size of the room. Room was very clean and massive. Bathroom was equally clean and large. Staff were extremely welcoming and helpful both on checking in and checking out. Resident's bar was available and staff allowed residents to relax in the reception area with no issue.

Was extremely difficult to get a taxi back to the hotel later in the night due to it being slightly outside the immediate city centre (not a reflection of the hotel moreso the location). During the day there was no issue.

Simple . My new car of 3 weeks had door damage in the car park. The repair was €2100… to replace the door. CCTV doesn’t apparently cover the number plates of cars left there. Need I say more, you want clientele from everywhere including the south , but if that’s the a problem with your car park security ..sort it . By the way , having been born in England, I moved here 35 years ago and this is the first issue I’ve had in Belfast .

our room was very spacious and comfortable, breakfast was very good , was served with a la carte and buffet. Free Car parks were provided.

although the room was very spacious, the double bed was a bit tight for us. would be good to have a king size bed. The location is more suitable for people with a car.

Beautiful hotel in a beautiful location. The staff are fantastic. Super friendly, helpful in everyway. The breakfast menu, while not extensive, I found the food to be top class. Fresh ingredients and beautifully prepared. The bar area is warm and friendly. Comfortable furniture with views out into the tree lined street and beautiful Victorian style townhouses. My bedroom and ensuite was kept extremely clean and tidy. The room was serviced daily without failure. The staff in the restaurant were particularly impressive. They handled the peak periods very professionally. A real credit to the whole team.

No dislikes.

Great location & free parking. Staff were very friendly but they were stretched. Reception area was lovely, we didn’t have time for a drink in the bar but it looked welcoming with a nice atmosphere - we would have liked to! An express check out box for guests that have prepaid could help reception in the morning.

Our room was really hot, we opened the windows but there was a unit/extractor which creating more hot air. Walls were thin - could hear everything in neighbouring room throughout the night. Bathroom dated.

not to far from the city centre. it was clean. staff where very good, though very short of staff so they where working very hard to keep everything running. great that it had bar and restaurant. food very good

they certainly could do with more staff especially at breakfast as they had a very tough job to do looking after so many people in the morning. also three of our couples had to change rooms after two nights which wasn’t good. but hotel staff moved our bags etc.

Free onsite parking was a big drawcard for us. Hard to find in a city. We liked the character and location in a leafy Belfast street although it was quite a hike into the city centre itself (fortunately you can catch a bus at the top of the road). Very happy with the breakfast and service (thank you, Marianne). Clean and comfortable room with nice old-school touches like slippers, dressing gowns, iron and ironing board. There was acres of space, guessing it's intended to be wheelchair accessible.

Not a complaint exactly, but the bathroom was weird. Again, possibly because it's meant to accommodate wheelchairs. The strangest shower ever, kind of like a glass playpen that ended at hip height which meant that water splashed out onto the floor, with nowhere to put soap or shampoo. But clean enough.

Staff super friendly, Tony in the breakfast restaurant was lovely. Room was clean and bed was very comfortable, bathroom compact but shower very good. The location from the central bus station is about a half hour walk in a residential area so it is nice and quiet. There are buses that you can get if you don’t like a walk. The hotel itself is beautiful and the decor very tasteful. Northern Ireland was fabulous, I don’t think I’ve ever met such friendly people and we will definitely be back and I would be happy to stay at the Malone again.

The only thing we can say is the food, both at the bar and breakfast quality wise was fantastic, we did feel that there was not a great range of choice, that’s the only thing.

I have stayed in the Malone prior to COVID and enjoyed it then, which influenced my choice this time. They did not let me down, in fact, it was better this time because of the refurbishment. My room was spacious, spotlessly clean and well appointed; there was no cause for complaint there. The staff were all of smart appearance, knowledgeable and helpful as well as very pleasant. I have to mention the Breakfast Chef who came through to ask if there was anything else he could add to our choice. A special guy. The location is excellent. there are buses on both Malone Road and Lisburn Road that run frequently to and from the city centre, making access so easy, to enjoy a pint of Guinness in the famous Crown Liquor Store.

We stayed Monday night and Tuesday night, and on both nights the dining room is closed, so we ate in the bar. The menu choice is limited, particularly if you are a fussy vegetarian, as my wife is. On the second night, the lads who ran the bar detected a problem, and arranged for the Chef to make something she'd like. So, in adversity, the staff at The Malone were above the expectation of service; well done lads.
