Loved the location, the staff were amazing, the bed very comfy, although the room was compact there was everything you could want, bathroom was very large and beautifully equipped. The rib eye steak was exceptional and probably the best I’ve ever ordered Stayed in the main house in The Morgan

Perfect for our visit to Shelsley walsh hillclimb. This was the 2nd time we stayed in a garden room. The staff are friendly and helpful. Breakfast and dinner very good

We are both vegetarian although we do eat fish. However the choices on the dinner menu were limited especially when we stayed 3 nights with the same menu. At breakfast it is full English but no veggie option. We just had scrambled egg but some tomatoes and mushrooms would be good. Luckily we are flexible and it didn't spoil our stay

Breakfast was fabulous and the staff were friendly, kind and helpful. The hotel is in a good location for exploring the area and made a handy stop on our journey north - and a welcome alternative to the usual chains!

It's hard to be too critical; the space was comfortable. The bedding was very warm probably due to the choice of duvets provided. A little bit more coordination around how breakfast worked would have been handy, with a few more glasses available for juice, or bowls etc. for cereals. But this is really nitpicking - the fresh food was of an extremely high quality and I'd go back in a hearbeat.

First class, as always! It's the only hotel we return to, again and again! The location is perfect for us (lovely countryside but still only a few miles to Worcester city centre). There is always a friendly face to greet you, and the staff are very helpful. Plenty of parking outside and a choice of rooms within the main building or the garden rooms (like a lodge). There's plenty of space in the King rooms and they have everything you need. I sleep like a log when we visit The Rodney - even better than at home! No problems with the Wifi or TV, unlike some other hotels. The food is ALWAYS outstanding - especially the sausages. What more can I say - it's just perfect :)

Nothing we didn't like. Only thing that would improve it would be a few cushions! ;)

Nice big room, nicely furnished and decorated. Staff were very accommodating with regards to securely storing the two bicycle we had with us. Evening meal was excellent.

Minor things but some items to consider... Pillows were a little flat and lumpy, could do with some new ones. The steak pie was not very warm but it was fine with the piping hot gravy poured on it but I did hear the table next to us sending theirs back as it was cold. Breakfast was very nice but two items listed on the Full English choice we missing, they had been substituted by other items but we weren't told until it arrived. Had we known we may have made a different choice. What we did get was very well cooked though.

It was easy to check in and as we'd travelled quite a distance, late check in was arranged after we got stuck in traffic.. It's a very quiet countryside location which it's beautiful and peaceful and there was a big bath which was a pleasant surprise

We didn't have enough towels (only one set for the 2 of us). You could request more however due to us checking in late we didn't see any staff for the duration of the stay to request any.

What a pleasant surprise The Rodney is! The chalet-style accommodation to the rear of the property is exceptional. Generously proportioned and tastefully decorated bedroom and en-suite. Very quiet and enjoyed a full night’s sleep. Breakfast was tasty with very good coffee. Polite, good humoured and quick witted staff. I really enjoyed staying at The Rodney and I won’t hesitate to rebook next time I’m in the area.

Nothing comes to mind.

I liked everything! The location, the food, the people running it! It's a lovely pub with a stunning views. We stayed in the small houses just above the pub which had everything we needed to make this the perfect stay. We had dinner in the pub and it was the best pork belly I have ever had (and I have eaten it all over the UK). The pub is really cosy and inviting and the staff super welcoming. Before breakfast we went for a stroll along surrounding public footpaths and the counryside is truly lovely. Most defintely recommended!

the property was spotlessly clean and room was immaculate

it was very quiet and had apparently been closed for the previous few weeks due to staffing issues . reviews over the last few weeks of food were poor so we were reluctant to eat in the restaurant apart from breakfast . they were also unable to service our room during our stay which wasn't really a problem but we felt we should have been informed of these things beforehand and should have been reflected in price .
