Gwesty Seren Hotel

The location was beautiful. Had a lovely 2 day stay. Very quiet, on the second day, there was a young lad working at the reception, he was little nervous serving us at the bar, as he did mention he don't usually work on the bar, bless him. Service was a little slow, but chats were very friendly,the young lad was very polite and very kind. Thank you from South Wales the flat end 😊

The rooms were spotless. the only thing I struggled with was the bed being uncomfortable. Woke up with aching back. Bed was quite solid in room 3. Other than that everything was as expected.

This hotel is incredibly assessable. I glanced in some rooms to see they even had hospital beds for patients with disabilities, everyone was easy for wheelchairs to get around and it was very catered for disability! I myself was not using the hotel for this reason but i was amazed how incredible it was! The rooms we had were gorgous and so comfy! Kitted out with all the essentials! And I really stunning location we even arrived super late at night and there was lovely staff ready to check us in and take us to our rooms

Beautiful Place, the staff were really good at there jobs. Very friendly people. The lady who was the manager I noticed did lots of different jobs, not just manage, she seemed to be a people person really lovely. Breakfast was excellent, one of the best I have had in any hotel.

The towels were never changed, tea coffee hot chocolate was never replenished, we had to ask reception. The towels being changed mattered more than the drinks. When there wet and not drying you have a problem . Sorry to say this, it was the only thing wrong. Loved the hotel will recommend and come back again. Thanku.

The lift to carry our luggage from the carpark fo the hotel entry was appreciated as it was raining heavily when we arrived. The young man on duty was very helpful and most interesting to talk with. We enjoyed learning the history of the place from someone who had known it well.

Unfortunately it rained non-stop so we could not enjoy the wonderful views from our room to the full, nor could we go walking in the neighbourhood. If opportunity allows, we will be back!

The staff were so friendly and helpful. They really went the extra mile to make us feel special. The quality and cleanliness of the room was 5 stars The breakfast was delicious, fresh crusty warm home made croissants for the kids and a fresh cooked breakfast for me Beautiful location with a cute village pub 10 minutes walk away through a lovely field We loved it!

The staff are marvellous, very friendly and helpful. Gwesty Seren is absolutely spotlessly clean and has a most wonderful view. Had I known the fact that Seren is a not for profit helping people I would not have bothered to look at any other place. The developing garden at the back has a John Nash sculpture that provides habitat for bats, bees, etc. and an engraved granite slab identifying the peaks in view. The beginning of growing Seren's own vegetables is a great initiative and the gardener full of information and enthusiasm. Our stay was a really special experience and we hope to be back soon.

Views superb staff very helpful and very friendly you could tell they all enjoyed working there . Parking at the hotel v good and they had a lift which was great

Think they staffing levels could do with a few more ,as they were all working very hard doing multiple tasks due to very busy week in the local area ( half term).We had trouble finding gifts to bring home as the local Town Porthmadoc and Harlec we couldn't park the car easily,so did suggest they stock /biscuits / fudge or Welsh mugs etcs as take home items Welsh theme nick knacks to either advertise the hotel or similar.

Really loved the view from the hotel.stayed in a twin room at the front of the property was really clean and had everything you need to make a lovely Welsh brew in the morning 😊 co op is a 10 min drive and a nice takeaway near by would recommend.

Would say it's the road out of and to the hotel it is very steep and bendy roads but its wales so is expected I suppose.

This hotel has stunning scenery and from our room we had a beautiful view of the mountains. The staff were superb. The lovely Kai (hopefully I got that right) was very helpful and for such a young lad really worked hard and had fantastic customer service skills. The food was lovely and they even served us food late after us missing dinner. All the staff were extremely friendly and helpful.

My only slight criticism would be that the mattress was a little uncomfortable for my liking and I personally found the room a little cold (but then my partner didn’t so maybe that’s just me)

The views from the hotel were incredible. We came up from London quite late in the evening. The staff were very friendly and helpful. They helped us with local food takeaways and gave us directions. We really enjoyed our stay here and we will be booking again for next year. Thank you to everyone at Gwesty Seren Hotel for having us.

There was nothing not to like about the property. It was situation down a nice country lane with amazing views.
