Loved the location, just out of the way of the busy main road so as to be totally peaceful. But still in the heart of the village and happily near to the train station too. I felt we had the best room in the house (room 4) because of the wonderful view!! It meant if we had to come indoors for a little while because of the rain, I could sit in the window and still really appreciate the beauty of where we were. Our room was very clean and had nice decor. Our bed was VERY comfortable. Breakfast was lovely , with enough on offer to satisfy whatever your appetite. Great selection of dvd films to choose from, including children's/family The walk to Lake Elsi on the doorstep is a bonus. And it's only a quick walk down the hill to be in the village. Host was friendly and there was a phone number for them to be on hand if needed for anything. We didn't need to use it during our stay at all.

Nothing to comment about 🙂but just one thing that MAY BE a possible concern. Parking . States free parking at front and rear but there was no rear? Only on the road in front of the guest house between the double yellow lines. So it was a case of if there was a space when you arrived as anyone can park there who isn't staying in Coed y From or Church Hill guest houses. We arrived by car and parked outside for the day. Then my son who drove us there went home later. I was thinking if you'd come in a car and was traveling in and out of Betws y Coed to explore places ect, you would maybe be concerned each time if there was a space when you got back? I don't really know as we didn't need car as we just stayed the weekend here and was traveling home by train.

The placement of the property is in the heart and soul of Betwys, literally perfectly placed. The room was cozy and clean and modern. You get an array of DVDs for the LCD that is a lovely benefit with that cool Welsh air eddying from the window. Bathroom is lovely and lots of freebies. Biscuits and Hot drinks and cold drinks and the Breakfast was to die for. Hazel is amazing as a host too. Anything we wanted she was there in a heartbeat. I even forgot my wedding ring and she has posted it back to my address and refused to let me pay for the privilege. A true star. A beautiful person and an exceptional property. Matthew & Claire

In Betws-y-Coed for a family event. We wanted a central location with parking close to the church, and Coed Y Fron was located directly behind. Both rooms had en-suite and were very clean, comfortable and very well presented, equipped with everything we needed. A nice touch was to have fresh milk available downstairs should you prefer that to the usual UHT milk that was in the room. Breakfast was excellent, we had a cooked breakfast both days. Best mushrooms I’ve had for ages! Lovely welcoming host who clearly takes great pride and care in ensuring we were well looked after. We will certainly stay again and would recommend to all.

A small niggle but I found the pillows a bit to firm for me. It wasn’t a problem because there were spares in the wardrobe and I just reduced it to 1. I guess it caters for both firm and softer pillow preferences though. Bed was lovely so I still slept well.

From check in to check out, we enjoyed our stay. We had lots of refreshments in the room tea, biscuits, coffee machine, water and even black currant and Lime cordial!! What a lovely touch! We are not big water drinkers and this was just what we needed. The coffee was lovely and if we ran out of milk we could just grab a bottle from the fridge downstairs. There was nothing we wanted for. We decided to watch a movie in the evening and there was a extensive array of dvds to choose from with all genres something for everyone! Everything was perfect, all the little touches made a huge difference and we loved it. Breakfast was amazing we had a vegetarian fry up, with fresh coffee and it definitely set us up for the day. We will be returning. Thank you for making our stay perfect.

There wasnt anything not to like.

This b&b is one of the best we have ever stayed in. It is exceptionally clean and the beds are fantastic. We had room 5 which is just fabulous with a beautiful huge bed and gorgeous bathroom to match. There are tea making facilities along with a Tassimo coffee machine which is a bonus. The other fabulous touches are the Dvd collection and the option to take a packed lunch with you on your adventures wherever they may be. It also perfectly placed to be very close to the shops, cafe's and other hotels without any of the road noise or hustle and bustle. Our children stayed in room 3 which was also beautiful, they loved the beds and both had fabulous nights sleep too! The breakfast is very tasty with all the toast, cereal and fresh coffee you could want. We would definitely book this place again if we came back for another visit.

Absolutely nothing, it's like being at home with all the benefits of not having to do a thing....fantastic!

The hotel is just off the main street and easy to find with plenty of room to park directly outside. The host Hazel met us at Reception was very nice, answering a couple of questions we had. The room was not huge bust a good enough size and everything was very clean. Beds were comfortable and got a good nights sleep. The view from the window was impressive. The village restaurants and shops are only a short walk away. Highly recommended for anyone planning to stay in Betws-y-Coed, wanting quick and easy access to Snowdonia.

Everything was fine for our short stay. The only small comment would be that the shower water could have been hotter (although it was electronica and so we may not have been using it correctly).

The quietness if Coed-Y-Fron, and its location so close to shops and restaurants in Betws-y-Coed.

There was limited parking at Coed-Y-Fron, but there was additional parking on the road in front of the property. On one occasion when I returned at about 6.00pm, I was still able to park on the road but there were only 2 spaces remaining. On site parking is very important to me.

The location of the property was spot-on. Right in the centre of the town and walking distance to Pont-y-Pair Bridge and Miners Bridge. Restaurants and other eateries are also within 5min walk. The room that we stayed in room 5, was big and spacious. The double/King bed was big enough to sleep 3 (2 adults and 1 child).

The breakfast options were limited especially for kids. May be if added a little more of spread options like chocolate spread, would have helped.

Beautiful property and wonderful host. We chose every item on our breakfast plate and it was perfectly prepared at our requested time! Nothing was too much trouble for Hazel who welcomed us and made sure we were comfortable. The room was presented to a high standard. We were on the top floor which had the best view and we were serenaded by the chorus of the male voice choir from the church opposite. Without a doubt the cleanest room we have ever stayed in. The attention to detail was impressive and we wanted for nothing throughout our stay. Don't stay anywhere else if you visit Betws-y-Coed. This is the place to be!

Absolutely nothing negative to say!

Everything— the owner, the upgraded room, the location, the town and ESPECIALLY a superb Welsh breakfast. We had a flight cancellation and missed a night so the owner kindly and generously upgraded us to a huge and comfortable room with a spacious sparkling bathroom. Lots of coffee and extras as well.

That our flight was canceled and we only got to stay one night!!!
