Me and my partner chose Inn In The Park for its location as we wanted to visit both Poole and Bournemouth and the Inn is perfectly situated for both. Check in was smooth and the gentleman who greeted us was both polite and funny- sometimes it can be a little awkward when first visiting somewhere you’ve never been before however we felt at ease straight away. The room itself was immaculate and and had a selection of coffee/tea/biscuits and the toiletries provided in the bathroom were of a high quality. The breakfast the following morning was exceptional- we particularly liked how each room had been allocated a table which was clearly marked with the room name and Denise who was serving us was absolutely lovely, nothing seemed too much trouble for her.

We couldn’t find fault with our stay!

Very professional staff who were welcoming and friendly. Excellent room which was clean and comfy. Nice big bath and plenty of tea n coffee too. The bar downstairs was great, well stocked with beers & ales and serving perfectly cooked food from a relatively comprehensive menu. Locals were friendly too. Breakfast was served from 9am - 9.30, and this was flawless too!

No complaints at all. Some might find the food and drink expensive but I'd imagine this is indicative of the location. There were a few dishes short on the menu but with plenty of alternatives to choose from, this wasn't overly problematic.

All the staff were extremely helpful and welcoming.....the room was comfortable and quiet......the food was good

A little disappointed when we booked a table for a Sunday meal for 5pm (although last booking was for 5.30) the choice was limited and staff were reluctant to offer us a dessert because apparently they were getting ready to go home. We did manage to get one to share but felt we were being rushed. This was the only criticism on what overall was an enjoyable weekend.

From the moment we walked in, the staff were welcoming and friendly. We were quickly shown to our room and then came back to the bar for an excellent lunch. We mentioned that we were house hunting in the area and they were great, telling us where the best areas were and where to avoid! When we came back in the evening, we had booked a table for dinner. The food was lovely and very good value for money. Again, the staff were friendly and helpful. We will definitely re-book for our next house-hunting expedition.

The location was fantastic and the room itself was beautiful with lovely unsuit facilities. The staff member we met was very friendly. There was a guest entrance for after a certain time, which was fantastic as we didn’t feel we were to someone else’s time frame.

Sadly we couldn’t stay for the allocated breakfast time as we had to leave early for a hospital appointment. It would of been nice if there were other options with regards to breakfast as they only offered it between 9 and 9:30. Also as friendly as the staff member we met was, he came into the room with us which we found a little too in our personal space. We would of been more than happy to have been told about our room and if we had any questions to they would be more than happy to answer.

Small but well-equipped room with plenty coffee and milk, soap, shampoo, bodywash etc. No restaurants etc in walking distance that we could locate but easy walk to beautiful beach at Branksome Chine and excellent meal in the hotel bar-restaurant. Good sound-proofong in room Friendly helpful staff Dog-friendly I would recommend it

Room just in need of a little attention - a few cobwebs, loo handle broken - but otherwise very comfortable.

We stayed here for the first time in March. We loved it so much that we came back for a longer stay. The staff are really friendly and the food is delicious! There is a great relaxed atmosphere, perfect for hanging out as a holiday base.

It's an older building so the decor in the bedrooms is a little tired in places but it is a minor point and doesn't really detract from the overall stay.

Great location for the beach, quiet surroundings in leafy area, excellent food, friendly staff, pleasant pub.

When we arrived we were advised we were being upgraded to a superior room, but not sure if this was the case as photos of the room on booking.com show the room as a standard room. We questioned this later and we were advised we were in fact given a superior room. The room was fine, but not particularly superior, so we were pleased we didn’t have a “standard” room. Pillows should be replaced as they were rather thin. Overall good, but a bit pricey for what we paid at the time.

The room was nice enough, the bed wasn't the comfiest but did a job for our 1 night stay. Nice and quiet at night even being above a pub, the breakfast was nice, nothing special but still pretty tasty, the service was great, she was very attentive and made sure we had everything. The location was excellent (5 mins walk from beach), free parking which is a bonus, the main thing we loved was the staff, everyone we spoke to was super friendly and amazing with our dog, they made us all feel very welcome and we would stay here again for sure.

Bed - Wasn't great but that's personal preference.

The hotel was in a great location with a good sized room and super staff. My dog is a rescue dog and quite fearful of other dogs, when I said this to the staff on arrival they were great in locating us within the bar/restaurant and letting the other guests with dogs know. The food was good, tasty and good portions. The restaurant is busy so if you plan to eat there it is good to book. The hotel is situated pretty close to a dog friendly beach that is within walking distance or a very short drive, parking is payable and the machines only seemed to take cash in February 2022. The staff were all very dog friendly and always took time to say hello to the dog and often brought him treats.

There was very little that we didn't like. The bathroom was maybe a little cold but that's the price you pay for travelling in February. Not much more that I can say beyond that.
