Three Cocks Hotel

Everything was amazing. The room was plenty large enough for myself and Mum, with the most adorable single beds facing each other so we could have a chat whilst going to bed. Water pressure in the shower was 10000/10 with the added bonus of some lovely shampoos, conditioners etc. available for guests to use. The lady we spoke to was very lovely and it was nice to hear about the family run business, constant changes they made each year. You could really tell they took pride in making it a welcoming, fresh and comfortable place to stay for all guests. Added perk of an old, quirky building with great original features

Both Julia and Jess were amazing. Very welcoming, friendly and helpful. Went above and beyond with their services and hospitality.

My husband is tall, the room was a little awkward to manoeuvre around. A stand up shower would have been better suited, as opposed to having to kneel down in the bath to wash. All previously discussed and acknowledged by Julia. I appreciate there may have been another better suited room. This being said, it was ideal for what we needed. Not a complaint in the slightest. Food was delicious.

Location was perfect stop over going up into north wakes and perfect stop for on the way back before heading home breakfast was lovely. The whole b&b is idyllic, lovingly restored keeping the rustic charm plenty of room to sit out in the grounds and rest after busy day travelling. A short car trip to walk up pen-y-fan plenty of pubs/restaurants to drive to a couple in walking distance 20mins but bear in mind the restaurant opposite isn't open on a Monday or Tuesday.

If you fancy a drink to unwind when you get there it's best to take your own as there is only bottled water or tea and coffee making facilities available.

We had a wonderful stay and were exceptionally well looked after. The building is beautiful and has been sensitively renovated, we enjoyed looking at the old photos in the lobby to see how it had changed our the years. The service is excellent. After a wet and windy day out walking we returned to find the woodturner lit in the lobby and tea and biscuits served once we'd had a hot shower. The next morning my wife was feeling a bit under the weather and they happy made up a tray for her to have breakfast in bed. We will be staying here again the next time we return to the Brecons.

Easy to find, lovely deco, very comfy bed, very clean.

Lovely overnight stay for Royal Welsh show attendance. Unfortunately, no where to eat as bar/restaurant closed on the Tuesday evening when we arrived as well as the pub opposite called The Barn, we went for a drive but still nowhere! Just one little thing with our twin room, which was lovely including the bathroom, however, the bathroom had a glass door albeit with etched glass but with the light on no privacy!

This is our second time staying here while going to Green Man festival and we had just as lovely a time. It’s such a nice building, full of character and so cozy. Excellent facilities, spotlessly clean and decorated beautifully. The staff are really friendly and so accommodating. It’s a lovely family run business and you can tell lots of love and care has been put into it. We’ll definitely be back!

The Three Cocks B&B is absolutely beautiful. The rooms are spacious with an extremely comfortable bed. The owners provided our room with Netflix so we could watch movies, which was a nice touch. The staff were friendly and attentive during breakfast which was nice. Overall, a great experience.

The only thing that I can think to say is that not a lot is within walking distance, this wasn’t a problem for us at all as we were driving though.

Excellent breakfast, room very comfortable and cosy. Staff were extremely pleasant friendly and helpful. We hope to go again, in the future.

The B&B is newly renovated and gorgeous! Thanks to the delightful team for making us feel so welcome! Would stay again without hesitation and can’t wait to visit again when the bar and restaurant is open too. The breakfast was lovely; it may be nice to have some elements laid out in a buffet style, only because it’s nice to take a few bits of everything with a continental breakfast but we didn’t want to order lots of items and not eat them all and waste! Only a suggestion though for what was a great stay!
