I can't deny that this is a no frills, basic hotel with tired decor and I wouldn't choose it for a romantic holiday. However, it is clean, has comfy beds, has a good shower, serves a great breakfast, has friendly staff, had a garage for our motorbikes and was really good value for money. The attached Chinese restaurant and the Indian over the road are highly recommended. It is a 20 minute drive from the beautiful Elan Valley reservoirs and a good central base for day-trips to most of Wales.

Very surprised after reading previous reviews after I had booked. We found the staff warm friendly very helpful. Breakfast above average for hotel price Good choice of menu for evening meal excellent food and good price Drinks very reasonable with a excellent lady behind the bar 🍸 👌 Chris was a lovely member of the team Hotel accommodation is tired but can see new management already started improvements. Bedroom clean and a comfortable nights sleep Would highly recommend this hotel if your looking for budget break in Llandrindod Wales nr Brecon Beacons . We will be returning

Nothing no complaints what's so ever Excellent 2star accommodation

Great location, Courtney was the friendliest person when I arrived (As were the morning staff the next day) and they accommodated me very late as I'm a wedding photographer. Rooms are basic but very clean and great value for money, especially with breakfast included. If you are looking for somewhere to stay and have a budget, I would HIGHLY recommend. Beds were SUPER comfy and as I knew I'd only be going to bed and off again early, it was perfect for me.

Bar closes at 12am which was no issue to me as I was still awake but could be loud if you go to bed early! Sadly there were no parking spaces left and I had to park on the road which took me a while to find and I had loads of heavy bags to carry, but to be fair, I got there late as mentioned!

Travelled with my 8 year old son for work. Room was lovely and comfortable. Clean and had everything we needed. Bonus points for having plugs by the bedside as I have a medical device I have to have plug in at night and most chain hotels have the plugs the other side of the room. Room was quiet despite us staying a Friday and Sat night. Located really close to the local Aldi. Breakfast was fantastic. Tea/coffee, cereal and toast out to help yourself and a lovely breakfast cooked to order. Eating area is no longer a Chinese but a beautiful light and airy bar/grill.

Parking was a bit scarce but managed to find a space a couple of streets away. Had to load/unload on double yellows a couple of times but was manageable.

Very friendly staff had excellent time would use them again only one small downfall they did not infirm us on arrival that they locked up at 11 pm and there was a numb on the key to get in at another entrance the numb meant nothing to us and only by pure luck another guest who new about the combination system at a different entrance opened up I am sure we would have been locked out if he did not come along

Stayed in rm 1, twin room. 1 double, 1 single. Good size room. seems to be in process of decorating. Will be nice when finished. This was a basic room to be expected for the price paid £63 for the night. Decent shower. The food in the restaurant was good. Burger was tasty. Car park at the rear, although not much space.

Strangle there as a slant on bathroom floor. The single bed was creaky bed. The TV, whilst not bothered was, small and didnt work - tv aerial broken.

I particularly like the location close to all local amenities. The staff are very friendly and efficient nothing to much. The room very clean slept well comfortable bed. Breakfast available and included in a very reasonable priced stay.. would definitely recommend this accommodation to friends and family. The added bonus of a bar with a very reasonable priced beer selection.. very chatty friendly staff who go above and beyond to make your stay, be it business or pleasure a very lovely experience.

The breakfast was outstanding Sue the breakfast chef is a doll and very accommodating and hard working All the staff were so friendly and helpful, any queries were quickly ironed out A very pleasant stay in a friendly hotel The bed was super comfy Thankyou vicky , neal & sue For a lovely stay Marina and ronnie

The tv didn't work too good The lighting in the bedroom could be brighter When we were there the wifi was a bit weak & intermittent

This is a bikers hotel - it does what it says on the tin. Excellent bike lock up (maybe 20 bikes?) with lots of space to hang wet leathers if required as well, good bar and decent beer used by locals, excellent breakfast, decent Chinese restaurant (very unexpected), hot power shower, and helpful and friendly staff. What more could you want - and excellent value for money. It even had 2 zip ties on the shower head to hold it in place - we all know that 1 zip tie is never enough!!

Useless and unhelpful negative reports on various sites. I booked this having read many of these, and read between the lines!

The hotel was ok in the middle of the town which was good,Surprisingly the room was really big with 2double beds,The restaurant wasn't a buffet style restaurant but we had a chinese that was really good,The hallways going upto our room was quite a dark corridor the light was out,I had previously read this on trip advisor,We went to the bar beer was good but full of locals which again is fine its in there town but a few of them quite moody and i made to feel a little uncomfortable with a few local women,It was cheap and cheerful and was better than expected for the price.
