Roomzzz Chester City

Really clean, great facilities, staff were lovely - especially the young lady working on reception when we arrived around 4.30pm 28/4/22, unfortunately I didn’t catch her name. Probably the most clean and comfortable accommodation we have ever stayed in!

Couldn’t fault anything at all, wish we had booked for more than 2 nights!

Nice easy check in, rooms were ready early. Lovely and clean, with a seal on the door too. Very well equipped kitchen

That it was either curtains or nothing at the windows, some rooms are quite overlooked and a little net or blind would be great

Great check in with welcoming staff. Darren on reception was brilliant, really helpful and informative very friendly and polite. Thanks for a great stay Darren you were really helpful. The room itself was great- Spacious, clean, good air con, nice bathroom, comfy bed, great kitchenette with fridge microwave and even a dish washer! We even had a tea towel, washing up liquid and dish washer tablet. Also the complimentary breakfast service was a really nice thought. It was Everything & Much more than what we were hoping for. We had a great stay. Thanks to everyone.

absolutely lovely and clean property, perfect location for the view of the racecourse and into the bars shops. staff were so friendly and helpful too couldn’t fault it! will be returning 100% perfect for a couples weekend

We liked the grab and go breakfast which was a brilliant surprise when we arrived.Staff were very kind and friendly with us. Whenever we needed something, staff were there to help sort something out. Our room was able to see the racecourse and some of the chester walls and beyond.

We had some issues with the washer & dryer but we did sort out the dryer to finish drying our clothes. There was a shortage of linens for the room for a few days. Unfortunately the Lift wasn't working for the morning of one of our days there and my wife is disabled, it caused her to walk down the stairs very slowly and carefully.She managed it but she was shaken up from it,she did recover eventually.

Lovely welcome from the reception team and free vend coffee machine was just what we needed after a long drive. Roomzzz is in a great location within 5 minutes of all the bars, restaurants and shops, overlooking the racecourse and city wall so easy to get around. Self-contained apartment style room was ideal for our stay, well equipped kitchen & wonderful powerful shower. Loved the swivel TV idea so you could watch anywhere in the room. The reception were helpful in telling. E how to get to Cheshire Oaks & Zoo by bus, it was easy & only £2 per journey cheaper & easier than driving/parking.

Car park spaces were a little small, so we decided to park at the race course. The grab & go breakfast is a great idea but sadly the oven broke whilst we were there so the lovely fresh baked pastries we had on day 1 were swapped out for an alternative which was not as nice ☹️

Has everything you need in the kitchen area which is a bonus eg pans, cutlery, washing liquid. The bathroom is great, the shower is amazing, warm and powerful. The main double bed is lovely, large and comfortable. The sofa bed was really good (according to my daughter) which would be a small double, the quilt on the main double was quite thick could of been lighter for the warmer months. Coffee,tea fruit juice is complimentary and can help yourself to as much as you like. Complimentary Breakfast is an added bonus but did only use once. Staff were very helpful. Perfect location, quiet easy to get to and 5 minutes from shops. Would definitely stay again.

Parking spaces quite tight, but only a hand full of cars were using it when we were there so not to much of a problem.

A bit of a walk from Chester station but once there, literally minutes away from the centre. Lovely, modern spacious rooms. We didn’t use the kitchen facilities much but could see there were definitely a good range of appliances and everything you needed. Friendly staff and nice touch for grab and go complimentary breakfast.

Clean but definitely a touch dusty, wouldn’t put us off staying again though. Also the oven was broke so no pastries available for breakfast which was a shame not to be able to try but still a very nice idea of juices/coffee and fresh fruit etc.

Everything about this place was amazing, including the complimentary hot drinks and pastry breakfast in the morning and the pizza they had available to order around the clock, the bed was so comfortable, we both had a great sleep! Absolutely brilliant hotel - made our chester experience so much more memorable.

maybe the air con could be a bit colder as it got warm through the night and we had the air con on but wasn’t enough, and maybe a lower price for parking (£10 per night - card only) but that is just nit picking - absolutely brilliant.

Location and room amazing

As the hotel is geared up for visiting the Racecourse and it is super pricey to stay on race days, you should be able to check in at 1pm to allow you to dress and get ready before the racing starts! We enquired about early check in well in advance and again at 7am on the day, to be told it couldn't be guaranteed, then discovered you could book early check in our late checkout for £10 on a poster in the lift. I think for the cost though, it should be standard on race days. I had to change and get makeup on in a very hot and stuffy toilet to make the first race.
