The style of the decor is nice, individualistic with thought put into each room rather than a chain template. The staff were friendly, helpful and relaxed. The reception area doubling up as a little bar was an unexpected and handy bonus.

if you’re wanting somewhere in walking distance of Chester to explore and then walk back, this isn’t it. you aren’t going to want to explore the immediate vicinity because it’s a run of the mill suburban area. The exterior of the hotel doesn’t do the interior justice, from the outside it looks like it’s trying it’s best to convince you it’s not that great. a gem in disguise. build in taxi/Uber rides into your budget if you plan to explore old chester city centre.

really comfortable stay with everything you need. I really enjoyed it here with the open plan room

a couple of light bulbs had gone but I didn’t tell the staff so I can’t complain the hotel is in saltney so it’s a residential area not in Chester but I knew this and enjoyed my stay very much

The host was so accommodating and extremely down to earth. Loved the King studio room, with bath by the bed. My other halve an I had such an amazing time start to finish. Great location, close to everything you need. Parking was free to.

That we couldn't stay longer

Lovely room with quality features and fitting. Lovely rainfall shower also in STD suite. Looking forward to trying the posh suite with the bath in the living room.

Nothing at, was perfect.

Happened to stumble across This hotel while looking for a night away and it didn’t disappoint. Brand new hotel and everything was high class. The free standing bath in the room was a nice touch! The breakfast was delicious too. Beds were comfortable and we were made to feel right at home. Chris the host was so nice and nothing was too much trouble for him.

Couldn’t fault it. Exceptional level of service from this hotel. Will be recommending.

We arrived early but they allowed us to put our bags in the room as they were still cleaning, upon our return the room was spotless, very comfortable bed and bathroom, overall a very nice room. We all agreed we would stay here again.

Was a little further away from the center of Chester than we would've liked but that's my fault not the hotels obviously, we walked to a pub about a hundred yards away and got a drink and ordered a taxi which was prompt and cheap, but just be aware of this if booking to stay in Chester as it's around a 30 minute walk (so we were told) to the centre. We all did agree that we would stay here again though despite the location as we couldn't fault the hotel itself

Stayed for one night for a work trip, location was perfect for this reason. It’s also a pretty short journey to the city centre. The room was more like a small apartment with a nice loft style feel to it. Well equipped. Nice comfy bed. Quiet room.

I had some issues at check in as it was after the staff had left. Key boxes not lit at all. Was rectified after about 20 minutes and a few phone calls. This just felt longer and more inconvenient for me after a long journey. There is car parking behind the property, next to a railway line, which is free, but this is not lit and is something I’m always mindful of when travelling alone. This review sounds like I am very fussy about lighting however some simple steps could improve this hotel!
