The cleaning ladies I spoke to were lovely, very friendly, The first day of breakfast the chef over cooked the sausage and bacon, second breakfast was really good, even changed my egg for me, definitely more friendly, room very clean so was bathroom, shower was powerful, little bottles of toiletries and a couple of soap bars, bed was soft which was fine, asked for extra pillows on first night, they brought me pillows within 30 minutes. Also had a little mint on the bed, which was a lovely touch.

No mirror on dressing table, there was a full length one on the door, there was a bit of a step into the shower,( I have a few mobility issues)

The rooms are in a separate annex to the pub. All rooms are on the ground floor but it feels safe with the security in place. We had a twin bedded room which was ample in size with a big shower room, tea and coffee making facilities. There a water dispenser in the corridor The car park is huge and has electric charging bays. The pub feels like s traditional English pub serving good food. The breakfast is well organised with you filling in a request form the night before

The entrance hall to the rooms had a horrid musty damp smell. I think they have probably had an ingress of water at some point as there was a dehumidifier in place. Having said that the room itself didn’t smell

Pleasantly surprised by our stay. Asked if we were able to have our room early as we wanted to check in , change and attend our friends wedding before official check in at 2pm. Couldn't have been more friendly and helpful. Room was ready 2 hours early, clean , nice fresh and clean linen. It is not sumptuous but suited us very nicely. Liked the cold water dispenser in foyer and a fridge freezer guests can use for their own food/ drink - not bad when you are staying at a pub. We had a full English breakfast it is was very nice , think it could have been fresh from a farm shop , it was definitely very good quality and made only when you came down for breakfast. Plenty of tea ,coffee and juice with make your own toast and cereal before you sit down. Ample parking, even had an electric car charging point. Very happy with our stay and am delighted to recommend The Woolpack Inn

The room was very comfortable, clean and suited our needs. The breakfast was good and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. It is a great place if travelling alone or with family. The welcome basket in the room was a pleasant suprise.

Not much I didn't like, but at a push the bathroom mirror I thought was on the small side and the the shower hose was faulty and leaked which meant the pressure was not as good as it could have been, but was good enough. The final drawback was the sink in the bathroom. It is too small to fill the kettle in the room. The only way to fill the kettle is to step in to the bath as the glass shower screen limits access tot he cold tap. Not a big issue but perhaps something that can be improved.

Friendly staff. Whilst basic, clean spacious rooms. Pub is airy, bright, and clean, nicely decorated & furnished, with inviting seating areas inside, along with secure rear grassed garden with plenty of benches. Oh, and a large rabbit hutch :-) Breakfast plentiful. Cooked breakfast done to order (pre-ordered overnight) and quickly delivered. A small communal fridge freezer for guests was a nice touch and used. Also the water dispenser was appreciated.

Nothing really. Could perhaps have coasters on the bedroom side tables for tea / coffee in bed :-) Maybe a shelf in the shower?

We were a family group needing 5 rooms. The accommodation at The Woolpack is self contained and secure and all the rooms we had were off the same corridor. Perfect. The rooms were comfortable and clean with all the facilities you would need. Great system for ordering Breakfast. A good quality breakfast is critical and only small hotels like the Woolpack can do this justice. It was cooked for us personally and was delicious with as much toast and coffee as we wanted. So convenient for Chichester, the coast and Fishbourne Roman Palace and excellent value. Litmus Test is would we stay again - certainly.

Nothing worth mentioning - happy with everything.

The location was perfect for us as we were attending a funeral nearby. The room was clean and comfortable. The food in the pub was lovely and the staff were friendly and helpful. It made a difficult day less stressful for us. We would definitely stay there again to visit our family nearby.

As both of us have mobility issues, it would have been nice to have two chairs in the room rather than one to save one of us having to sit on the bed, and a hand rail to aid getting out of the shower. Although very clean, our basin was cracked.

Lovely pub, friendly and helpful staff, easy to find not far from the main road. Plenty of carparking spaces. Comfortable clean accommodation in a separate annex at the back of the pub, all rooms on ground level. Good WiFi. Good selection of meals on the menu. Decent breakfast included in the price.

Sadly our room 8, was at the far right end of the annex and next door to a house, where I'm assuming they smoked in the garden, which drifted through our window, which was not pleasant.

The location was great for travelling around the area and our exploring. The food in the restaurant was very good, we only ate one evening meal there and the cooked breakfast was excellent. The large fluffy white bath towels were very welcome as in some hotels they can be small and thin. The room had instant hot water which was great so you didn’t have to waste water running it to get hot.

The mattress on the bed was rather soft to what we are used to but I did sleep ok. The location is close to the main road so can be quite noisy so I’m glad I took ear plugs with me to help me sleep. There was no net curtain or blind at the window just curtains. Being on the ground floor at the front of the building next to the entrance, everyone entering the building could see into your room so there was a lack of privacy. Smokers would also stand outside the entrance and again with my window open their chatting and smell of smoke could be annoying at night as was the banging of the door. The hotel had previously had an issue with the recent heavy rainfall. I mentioned an issue to the hotel staff and they were very prompt to assist with the issue.

Breakfast very good nice size room and yes we will come back again and a lovely shower every morning hot water and comfy bed

Not hearing that alarm go off at 12.30 at night. I suffered a asthmatic attack for over and hour and part the next day took me 2 hours to get back to sleep I hope you fined them in number 6 room because. I was not happy about no apology from them in number 6 all I can say it was a loud alarm I really felt. I should have had a discount on my room that night. I know it’s not your fault but. I felt it in my body for the next day. Clare greenslade
