Everything about our stay was absolutely fabulous. We arrived on our motorcycle to a very warm welcome and we were blown away by our beautiful accommodation which was everything we could have wished for. The bed was the most comfortable ever, the bathroom was perfect and all the facilities were brilliant. Our rooms were absolutely spotless with such attention to detail. Really lovely. Although the car park is gravelled it is compact so no loose stones could flick onto cars or skid hazards for bikes and they have a barrier across the drive for added security. Everyone parked right outside their rooms and we were even able to park our bike close to our door under cover. We had evening meals and breakfast there and both were delicious in a quirky friendly atmosphere. The staff also contributed to making our stay special. We will definitely be going back.

We had a lovely welcome from the staff, Becky was always smiling and David polite and chatty too even though he was busy. Really busy restaurant times fully booked!!! which tells you a lot about the food and pub. Rooms were lovely and fresh smelling, immaculately clean and well presented. Lovely selection of in room teas/coffees etc, fridge in room if required. We had a super king bed which was so comfortable and same with pillows, clean comfy bedding, slept like a baby both nights!! Air con unit if required in room too. Food was awesome, freshly prepped and delicious both main meals and breakfast. Lovely decor in the pub itself too loved the various memoribilia to veterans and RAF planes and military ( that's why we wanted to stay in the area before we found Village Limits) An all round lovely stay and would highly recommend to others. Superb we will be back!! Didn't realise on booking until full research of area that these guys were winners of "Four in a Bed" Can deffo see why..... Awesome!!

Great welcome from the staff , very friendly owners David and Leigh and would like to thank everyone for their hospitality during our stay . The room was spotless with all the basics you would need for a lovely stay just love the little added touches and well presented and generous hot drinks in rooms and even bottled water too . Loved being out in the countryside so peaceful and the food gorgeous ( complements to the chef ) absolutely fantastic and a smaller portion choice was fantastic for us as not big eaters but the portions so well presented . We will be returning and also recommending to anyone we know as a lovely place to stay

Everything, a well deserved winner of 4 in a bed television series. Very friendly owners and staff, excellent food. We stayed two nights in one of the suites which we would highly recommend. The room was beautiful, clean and very quiet, a filter coffee machine and a fridge with complimentary soft drinks and chocolate was much appreciated. Large TV’s in both the lounge and bedroom, very comfy large bed too! We enjoyed a lovely breakfast on the first morning in the restaurant and had a lovely evening meal there too! On the second morning lovely Liz and Diane delivered a preordered hamper to our room. The cooked food was very nice and hot and the basket was full everything we could have wished for and more!

good air con that actually worked as advertised , unlike some that I have recently stayed. at useful as it was very warm when I stayed. Good food in the evening with smaller portions which was good.. Unusually the TV had a lot of films available for free similar to an aircraft, watched Top Gun Maverick and Star Wars Rogue 1 for instance. Plenty of tea , coffee and chocolate , The restaurant was closed on Sunday when I arrived so they provided sandwiches! Car parking ok. View of a field from the window which was nice Would stay again ! some guests were regulars

The Village limits is an exceptional venue. We stayed on Friday 2nd June 2023, before attending a wedding on the Saturday. The room was like home from home. Spotlessly clean, huge bed, with high end linens. The room had Tea/Coffee making facilities, water and biscuits. We had a meal in the Village Limits with a couple of friends, and the food was 5 star, value for money (I would have gladly paid more for the quality on other) Check out was at 11am Saturday, However when we explained we had a wedding and would have to get ready hours before, the management were quick to offer a later check out at no extra cost. The Breakfast that was included in the price, was as amazing as the meal the previous night. There was so much choice. This is definitely not the last time we will visit Village Limits, and we will recommend it to anyone wanting a stay in this area. Thanks for a great stress free stay.

For some reason our booking was without breakfast although we booked it with . . it was the same price . . but to Village Limits credit they honored our booking to include it . . on top of that they didn't even charge when our Daughter joined us for breakfast on the first morning ! - now that's the kind of customer service you probably wouldn't experience in the larger Hotels down the road - and based on the quality of breakfast we wished we'd tried the Restaurant but had already booked elsewhere - excellent courtyard style accommodation and parking.

Honestly not a lot . . but being picky I can't stand shower curtains

From the greeting and the preparedness, this was a great choice of venue. The attention to detail, the high standard of cleanliness, the thoughtfulness and general feel of the entire establishment could not be faulted and we will be returning, hopefully frequently.

We ate in the restaurant on both nights for convenience but, whilst we both had two courses both nights, my wife's meal on the second night was a failure and wasn't eaten. This was raised immediately and a replacement was offered but, given by the time this was to be arranged, I would have finished my meal and my wife would have eaten whilst I watched so, we rejected and the meal was removed from the bill and a complimentary dessert offered, which we chose to ignore. They handled it very well under the circumstances.

location suited us a half way to our final destination. The area was very pretty and on arrival the accommodation was so much better than the pictures showed. We had dinner in the restaurant and the food was amazing. The staff were lovely and the food was freshly cooked and piping hot. comfortable nights sleep although I would say the accommodation is not sound proof! Breakfast the following morning was as lovely as dinner and check out was very smooth.

Mattress was too soft for me but that is personal choice. I slept on top of the duvet which acted as a topper and all was well.

The breakfast was exceptional, with plenty of choice, and as much as you wanted. A real graet start the day right Breakfast, all served with a smile by a lovely friendly helpful lady. The owners and the rest of the staff could not have any more helpful or friendly. Nothing was too much trouble. The decor was absolutely brilliant, and very tasteful with querky light fittings and plenty of timber to add to the relaxing atmosphere.

Absolutely NOTHING could we find NOT to like. EXCELLENT
