Comfortable bed. Good breakfast. Stunning views from the restaurant/pub. A complimentary drink in the mini fridge on arrival was a nice touch. Staff were very friendly. The manager checked in with us during breakfast to ensure we'd had a pleasant stay. Free parking was useful.

The room was quite hot during our stay (an unusually hot weekend in the UK), no A/C to control the temperature. At breakfast, some items such as pastries are cooked to order and take at least 20 minutes. It would be useful to know this prior to going for breakfast / having the option to order ahead. The access roads to get to the property are quite narrow and steep, but worth it for the views.

The Quarrymans Arms is located in a lovely location with beautiful views out to the Wiltshire countryside. The room we stayed in (The Freestone) was spacious and well furnished, with a number of well thought of accessories (such as a DAB radio) which was quite nice. The pub served some good food & drink, although we were a bit disappointed that the number of vegetarian/vegan options was limited and the menu on the website was different to what we were given at dinner. The breakfast choices were better though. The staff were generally very helpful and friendly.

The only complaint about the room we stayed in (The Freestone) was that it was on the lower ground floor and I think the pub kitchen was right above the room, so we kept hearing a lot of noise from the kitchen until about 11pm in the night. It did subside afterwards and we had a more peaceful evening but it did take the sheen off the stay to some extent.

Really lovely setting ,staff very helpful, Sunday evening meal was really nice had starters Sunday roast and a dessert, bedroom was nicely decorated. mini bar with a good choice and snacks too also a few items were complimentary . room over looked the carpark but that was ideal for us as we came on a motorbike so could keep an eye on it .

Could have had a choice of cereal and or fruit and yougart for breakfast, if I'm honest ! but the cooked breakfast was very nice and plenty of it x

Location was perfect, with fantastic views across the valley, staff were accommodating and helpful despite being quite busy with an event. Food came out promptly!

Although the food was tasty, unfortunately there were a number of mistakes with our order. The salt and pepper calamari had no lime or coriander as advertised. we ordered a side of chips with aoili and Parmesan, but ended up with just chips. and the halloumi we ordered with the wrap came out about 10mins after the wrap. These were by no means deal breakers, and just minor issues. However felt it worth adding to feedback for future.

great staff, very helpful. lovely room, clean, spacious, had everything we needed and felt very homely not like a hotel which is nice for a change. some nice thoughtful freebies like a prosseco in the fridge, lavender pillow spray, toothbrush, toothpaste. good value for money for the food!

although the rooms are very separate from the pub/restaurant area we could hear a lot of moving around upstairs - but think this could be the other room above, nevertheless it was bearable and not loud at night so that’s fine!

Fantastic full English breakfast, excellent sausage and bacon - fantastic location if you want to go for country walks, and local walking map was provided, good quality tea and coffee in our room, we had an upstairs room with a wonderful view. All the staff were very helpful. lots of outside tables in the pub garden.

I've just realised that we booked two extra nights (directly by phone) either side of our booking.com reservation (which originally was just the Friday night) and paid the full price for the Friday night which should have been £126 as it was booked separately via this website. I guess I should have checked the bill more carefully before I paid it!

This was perfect for what we needed which was just a little break away near Bath, good value for money, and a comfortable room with some really nice touches to make the stay enjoyable. Good room, good shower, good mini bar and a great breakfast.

The bed was a bit stiff for my liking but otherwise very comfortable. The pub could do so much more with the garden, it has such an amazing view yet most of the outdoor tables can't see it because of an overgrown bush, I would advise them to trim this right back or even take out as it blocks such a great feature.

Nice old pub located up on a hill with lovely views across a valley, access is via some quite small roads but as long as your careful they’re no problem. Our room was nicely decorated and comfortable enough for an overnight or short stay. This is working pub and restaurant but there wasn’t no noise disturbance heard in the room. We ate there the night we stayed and the food was good and the breakfast that was included was freshly made to order.

Nice staff, clean big bed, quite a few selections for breakfast and they were delicious, nice coffee, nice view of the valley, nice beer garden, love the sleep spray and hand sanitiser gel, strong WiFi. It was quiet at night but we were woken up by guests from next door the next morning.

The Deluxe double room we stayed in is named Spring which is on first floor with a view of the carpark instead of the valley. Toilet was rather small with no window. Was rather disappointed when we saw our room as for the same price we could have gotten a room with a view of the valley and more windows (room next door named Hubswell). The mini fridge was not fully stock and the complimentary drinks were missing... Asked the staff for them the next day and she gave me the free drinks.

Beautiful location with stunning views, staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating. The pub is beautiful too and breakfast was great, you could taste the locally sourced delicious eggs too! Would definitely return if in the area.

Check is late at 3 (as most hotels are now) but staff allowed us to use a room to check in before heading to a wedding which made getting ready so much nicer!
