I liked how the property was well-managed, beautiful inn and wonderful staff.

Nothing. There’s just weak mobile signal but great wifi.

The hotel is right at the centre of the village and is very picturesque fitting with the surroundings. Very nicely decorated with vintage furniture and the superior room was very comfortable and clean. Attention to detail as well was a key. The staff very friendly and hospitable.

The single children's bed, wasn't very comfortable. Maybe a different mattress would make a difference. But that could be our personal taste. It's definitely not a deterrent to staying at this beautiful hotel.

It maintains high standards of rooms and food. Its location cannot be bettered in possibly the most charming village in England. Its integral status with Manor House a great benefit to parking valuable cars.

I rather think the management is pushing the envelope slightly with its restaurant pricing. That said, the practice now seems common throughout the UK hotel and restaurant industry, so I would not single out the Castle Inn as a particular culprit.

I loved everything, don’t have a bad thing to say. My room was adorable, I absolutely loved Castle Comb and the Inn really suited the vibe of the peaceful cute town. I even extended my stay for another day when I was there! The inn is popular so lunch and dinner book out on busy days, but the staff at the Inn even managed to fit me in for dinner and lunch on a day they were booked out. They called my room to let me know that they could fit me in- which I thought was really nice.

Nothing. I liked everything.

The unspoilt medieval village. The ambiance in the four poster room. The exposed beams. The bar dinner. The check out and check in experience. The good. The WiFi was good.

The continental breakfast was a bit limited. No butter was offered. I was. not asked if I wanted toast. The room telephone was a handset which sat on a cradle which may have been a charger. I could not work the telephone handset, I did not therefore use. I did have my mobile phone with me , The mobile signal was poor

Lovely spacious , well maintained room with a nice view of the village and classic decorated as expected. Good quality towels and linen. Staff was friendly and kind. We had a dinner and the breakfast. Both really good with good quality ingredients . I enjoyed more the breakfast than the dinner that was maybe a little overpriced. I would anyway recommend for sure this place to stay or to eat while in Castle Combe.

Breakfast was outstanding, all freshly cooked ingredients. The room was large, cozy and full of character.

The bathroom was small due to a vaulted ceiling above shower, meaning my 6’1” self struggled to have a comfortable shower, but it was clean, plenty of hot water and good water pressure. Was expensive for what I got but the location and views from the room windows, I feel, just about justified it.

We loved the Edwardian wing where our room was. Probably the most comfortable beds my sister and I had throughout our trip around England. The breakfast was exceptional. The staff amazing. We only stayed one night but next time, we plan to stay longer and really enjoy the courtyard. It was wonderful walking the grounds at night. An absolute must for anyone wanting a unique experience.

Can't think of one thing.

Lovely village. Friendly staff. Nice spacious bedroom and bathroom. Comfortable bed. We particularly appreciated that you could turn the fan off at night, while leaving the bathroom light on.

The fish and batter were that bit overcooked and we have had better chunky chips. Crushed petits pois are NOT mushy peas. Overcooked fried eggs detracted from an otherwise good breakfast. Gluten free toast - hmm.

Very friendly staff throughout, room spacious, bed very comfortable, soft towels and a lovely bathroom. Food at the Castle Inn was superb, both for dinner and breakfast.

The fan in the room was unbelievably loud and very ineffective, not ideal in the August heatwave and can't help think that new one's need to be considered. A small fridge in the room would have been of benefit, to keep the milk and water cold. Other than that, we were delighted with everything.
