Chale Bay Farm

The location was beautiful and out in the country. The patio doors open out to a big patio overlooking fields, the sea cliff and the ocean. It was great to open the doors and sit out there for morning coffee and cocktails in the afternoon and evening. It was also nice to be able to walk to the Wight Mouse for drinks and dinner. The space was very clean and the information provided about the area was very helpful.

There is only one bathroom which is off the master bedroom with the other beds in a loft above the master bedroom. It was fine for our family - two couples who are comfortable traveling together and sharing a bathroom - but would not likely be comfortable for two unrelated couples. It would be great for families with the kids upstairs in the loft.

We cooked breakfast, the facilities in the kitchen were more than adequate as were all of the equipment in the accommodation.

It was my fault entirely but the accommodation was obviously for a family of four - we were four adults and the on suite bathroom was not very convenient, as I said that was my fault for not exploring the accommodation on line before hand, I am not really computer literate as was demonstrated by the problems connecting to wi fi for which you were extremely helpful.

Spacious accommodation, ideal for a young family. Good-size bedrooms and an amazing dining / sitting room and outside sitting area. The property is equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay. Lovely views from the property, but unfortunately quite far from the beach (not in walking distance).

Just one WC unit in the sleeping area. It would be nice to have an additional guest toilet which could be accessed from the hall / living room space. The kettle in our apartment was not working, but Steve replaced it straight away.

Great apartment for our needs as a family of four. Superb location. Particularly liked the shared lawns/football goal, view of the coast, access to coastal path. Clean, with nice touches eg coffee machine and bluetooth speakers. Very smooth to book and owners responsive and helpful.

Just lovely, the photos did not do it justice. We would definitely recommend and stay again. Comfy beds, super clean everything, nice water pressure, good wifi. A great home away from home while on the island.

Perhaps more suitable for family than 2 sets of couples as one bedroom is huge and clearly the master, the second is very small and rather cramped with 2 single beds, this is the only room which was smaller than the photos indicate.

The location was excellent with lovely views and very peaceful. We stayed in the heatwave with our 2 little granddaughters so the air conditioning was a godsend! Also the 2 EV charging points were brilliant. Just a perfect property in a great setting with an exceptionally helpful and friendly host

Very comfortable and good views from the property. Also very warm. We were able to charge our EV at the property via the project EV Pro app at a very reasonable rate.

The only thing lacking was food recycling! We compost at home and welcomed the chance to recycle plastics etc.

My family and I had a wonderful stay at Chale Bay farm. The facilities and the setting of the cottage was exceptional. We would recommend this place to anybody looking for a peaceful accommodation, walking paths and short drive to a secluded beach. We will be visiting here again. Thank you for a lovely stay Steve.

We were absolutely delighted to be able to stay at Chale Bay Farm! The facilities are totally outstanding, our room was spacious, clean, modern and with plenty of useful storage space. It is in a stunning, peaceful location, within easy reach of all the popular attractions. Steven and his family were very friendly and welcoming and helped to ensure that our five day stay was perfect. Would not hesitate in recommending such an amazing place!

Very relaxing and comfortable with exceptional views along the south coast all the way to the Needles. Easy and safe parking with the Wight Mouse just a short walk away.
