The location was great, Brian was very friendly and welcoming and the beds are extremely comfortable - we actually took a photo of the pillow brand so we could buy them when we got home! Our room was right on the high street so we expected it to be a bit noisy but it was actually really calm despite it being a busy weekend

The bathroom was very small but there was plenty of hot water and good water pressure

The owner was very kind and accommodating. The bar downstairs is really convenient. The bed was comfortable enough. We went in June and it was boiling - the little fan only did so much!

The bathroom was dated and not particularly clean. Being in the roof space, the shower was pretty much impossible to stand up under!

I had a very warm welcome from the owner of the hotel, Brian, and he made me feel at home throughout my stay. The hotel has an amazing location, right in the centre of Ventnor, and even though I had a room overlooking the street, there was no disturbance at night and I slept very well. The hotel is very clean, comfortable and cosy, a real gem in so many ways, There is a lovely bar at the front of the hotel where you can sit and chat to other guests and visitors, and Brian is very much there to welcome everyone. No breakfast is available but there are several good cafes offering excellent breakfast menus very close by.

No complaints. The hotel was very comfortable and the owner very welcoming.

Brian the owner made us feel very welcome what a great host and a great property, the bar was also fun, would definitely stay again

The bed was a little uncomfortable but that could be my own personal preference, all in all great period property and brilliant location!

The accommodation suited my need and I was so pleased with where we were based so close to everything we needed. Our host was very friendly and gave us all the information we needed.

What a great break we had. Many places can boast a good location, clean room etc, but there are few hoteliers like Brian. The perfect host, he made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived, was always available, and clearly determined that his guests have the best of vacations. The bar was used by residents and a couple of locals, who made us feel like close friends from the start. Can't wait to return to No 24.

Nothing to dislike

beautiful building, loved the restaurant underneath, had everything you needed in your room. loved the entrance and seating areas in hall. We had the small room but didn’t feel cramped but would love the larger one next time

Extremely friendly staff. Great bar on ground floor.

No breakfast. Room with very low ceiling, even at 5ft 2in tall, I was hitting my head and long climb to the top with a heavy case.

Lovely place on the High Street and close to the beach. Friendly host with a great bar downstairs.

Great host, good location. The property was in the center of Ventnor, there was a good bar downstairs, and a nice little garden in the rear. I enjoyed it, it hit the spot.
