The hotel is right in the centre of Crewkerne. All the creature comforts are here for you and the staff really do aim to please. The food is excellent and I couldn’t recommend it highly enough. As a base to go and see some lovely local attractions this place makes a great choice for a truly enjoyable stay! Thanks to all the staff at The Crooked Swan!

Crewkerne has limited parking in general and there is no onsite parking available. So be warned if you’re expecting this. Public car parking is available however and the best one is next to the local medical centre in West Street which is only a 5 minute walk from the hotel. There is a nearer one but space is very limited. Just £2.15 per day! The parking App is PhoneAndPay.

Staff were friendly, especially Craig. Food was great, breakfast was both continental and cooked so plenty to fuel the day. The dinner was delicious and both my wife and I agreed was the best meal we’d had that weekend. Would definitely stay again. No parking but not really an issue with a medium stay car park a 3 minute walk away.

We were in room 1 which was lovely but the sash window overlooks the courtyard which people used. They were a tiny bit noisy but this all stoped around 10ish. Not a problem if you wear earplugs like me 😊

The atmosphere of this place is really cool, lively bar and love the quirky features in the rooms. Staff were very friendly, welcoming and breakfast in the morning was delicious and very good quality, loved that you could choose how you wanted your eggs. Despite the lively atmosphere downstairs in the evening, my room was peaceful and couldn't hear downstairs at all. Check in and check out were both easy and appreciated that the invoice for my trip was emailed to me straight away saving me from chasing up afterwards. My room had a beautiful bathroom with lovely bathtub and shower. Bed was huge and mattress very comfy but the pillows were quite hard.

There wasn't any sanitary bin in the toilet (not great for lady things!) and as the wire framed bin in the bedroom had no liner in - couldn't put anything in there. Would have been good to have a full length mirror in the room. A card in the room with details of wifi code, breakfast timings, general info etc., would have been good too.

The ambience of the pub/restaurant and the room we stayed in was delightfully eccentric and also comfortably welcoming. The quality of the restaurant food was exceptional. The best I have tasted in a very long time

The room we stayed in, whilst very pleasantly furnished and decorated, was rather warm because it faced the afternoon sun. It also overlooked the main street and was quite noisy. Next time I will ask for a room at the back

The room was large and quirky. At the front by not noisy at night. Service was excellent, as was dinner in the restaurant part of the inn. Overnight, the bed proved to be very comfortable, and it was a nice touch to have real coffee on offer. Breakfast, when it arrived was great.

Breakfast was slow (40 minutes) to arrive, and with meetings to attend this nearly derailed my day. Although the room was well equipped there was no milk for hot drinks - I had to remember to ask for some before going to my room. I forgot! So, no milk for my tea/coffee. Not a big deal, and lots of positives, but that one is probably easy to fix!

Shame that the restaurant was fully booked - seems to have a great reputation. Could have eaten in the bar but this was almost empty. Went elsewhere (Bar5 which was great and served nice food/local cider). Had to use public pay & display car park. so needed to go to car park before 8am for next day pay and display. Minor thing as it is close and cheap.

Great hotel , warm , comfortable, spacious and hosted by outstanding , caring , professional staff.

No car park , but town centre locations often experience this challenge . Great value public car park around the corner .

Just a few cereals on the side for breakfast, no fruit etc The cooked breakfast is really great so do not need to half offer the continental which is not of the same standard.

The room was lovely, clean and quirky. The food was great, we had dinner and breakfast and both were excellent. Nice big bath. The traffic was a little loud but that’s the price you pay for being so central.

Wasn’t a fan of the stuffed boar on the landing but that’s just me!

Everything! Room was beautiful, shower and bath lush, fresh ground coffee available in the room, the bed was super comfortable, the owner and staff were welcoming and friendly and were clear about how to access the hotel.We will definately book to stay for a couple of nights when the lock down is lifted and we can make the most of the entire space and locality .

The pub/ resteraunt wasn't open due to Covid restrictions, understandably, but they made every provision for us to take food to our rooms . We werent given the wifi code and couldn't find in the room. However it wasn't essential and we could have asked . Parking not great , but there are pay and display car parks close by and we did find a free spot after a couple of circuits .
