Great location for discovering different parts of south Devon. Quiet site. The kids loved putting £1 coins into electric meter. Very comfy beds. Great that we had use of a washing machine. Chalet had everything we needed for our 8 night stay. Hosts are helpful and quick to reply to messages. It’s the next step up from caravanning 😊

Nothing really. but if we were going to be picky we were sharing our accommodation with a few spiders!

this little chalet had everything you could possibly need and was cosy and nicely decorated. We loved staying there and would stay again.

The only one down side was no facilities for kids on site. I think that's deliberate to attract older guests, but it would be nice to have a climbing frame or something. My husband was stuck there with 2 kids and no car for a day while I worked and they had nothing to do and the road is too dangerous to walk on, so they just walked round and round the garden :-) But once we had the car back it was an ace base from which to explore the area.

Leafy Cottage 33 was just perfect for our stay recently. It was quiet, spotlessly clean and welcoming and the trees and daffodils just outside were beautiful! We believe in supporting local businesses and access to the coast,moors and villages couldn't be easier. The local post office just down the road at Spar willingly exchanged coins for our notes to feed the electricity meter and Dartmouth never disappoints those who love her! The chalet was very cosy but with enough space and storage for a week’s stay. It had a well equipped kitchen with all you need to make meals and a washer dryer which was really useful. The bed was really comfortable and we slept like logs! The park is very quiet but with plenty of outdoor space and the other guests/owners were friendly. It is in a very convenient location just outside Dartmouth with Sainsburys and the park and ride nearby. You can walk into Dartmouth via a footpath if you are feeling energetic! There is also a bus which stops at the park entrance although only runs every couple of hours. Parking was easy which is rare in Dartmouth.

Only drawback is you need 2-3 pound coins a day to feed the electric meter which was inconvenient as we don’t normally use cash. It is quite hard to get change in Dartmouth so I recommend saving some up before you go! Seems very old fashioned but I think this is probably how the park is run.

Chalet was well equiped and very clean.

The step into the chalet was very high- about a foot and we only found out about it because we had to call up for the key instructions before we left home. Fortunately I was able to bring a folding step otherwise I would have had great difficulty in getting in and out.

The property was perfect for the two of us and had virtually everything that one would hope to be available in self-catering accommodation. The one addition that we might suggest would be a hair dryer. Everything was spotless and in good order. The tea, coffee and milk supplied on arrival after a long journey was very welcome.

The very early check-out time of 9:00 AM but we fully understood the necessity arising from the additional cleaning activities to satisfy the COVID-19 regime.

On arrival - keypad was open & key in door + door was open Understand using a meter but didn't like getting up in the cold & then wait for water/heaters to work Would have liked a more comprehensive list of what was supplied as I brought a lot with me I didn't need Took us a while to actually find the chalet on arrival

Mostly very clean, quiet, bright with good lighting (a rarity!), kitchen well equipped, excellent electric cooker, comfortable lounge, whole chalet very well equipped

No WiFi, though mobile data works well. Generally very clean, especially the kitchen and bathroom, but we found an item of clothing left behind by a previous guest. Chalet park lacks character and atmosphere. Sadly no private outside space or view from chalet, but there is a lovely view over the River Dart inside the park just a few metres away.

We really liked the modern chalet. How clean and comfortable it was. The shops were very local and we just enjoyed the peace and quiet as we work really hard almost all year round. We shall be recommending you to our family and friends. We shall also be booking another stay in the future.

Just I tiny thing. Maybe outside the door at night, which is very very dark, there could be a light that switched on long enough for us to get the key and open the door, then switch off afterwards. We did bring our torch by the way.
