Stayed 4 nights at CleveCourt Hotel in Paignton owners always made you feel welcome when i arrived at CleveCourt Hotel was shown to my room had a nice surprise as the owner put me into a different room to what I booked had double bed and balcony with a lovely view to the sea Breakfast was spot on and lovely always had a full belly before you plan and start your day i would definitely stay again and is value for money

The staff are amazing, always helpful and considerate. Taking time to make sure all needs where met. The breakfast was also well prepared served fresh every morning. I tried to go through all that was available on the menu. Even after staying 3nights still had not tried everything. Even catered for vegetarians and people with dietary requirements. Easy walks to the sea front and surrounding areas and markets etc. Including a water park nearby. My Father and son loved it. Even in a heatwave the rooms stayed fresh and with good airflow due to the high ceilings. Cant wait to come back again. This time to enjoy the amazing views from a room with a balcony.

Dave, Carol and the rest of the team were so welcoming. Nothing was too much trouble. Home from home. A mix between a B & B and small hotel. It is spotlessly clean and everything from the linen to the towels, the quality of ingredients at breakfast, the exceptional customer service and genuine interest from everyone was second to none. We wanted to stay longer! The most relaxed we have felt in a long time! It's not everyone's cup of tea, it's very old school and traditional but we loved it. There were people of all ages and backgrounds but they catered for all. I would recommend this place to anyone that wants a quality, relaxing break by the sea.

Nice atmosphere clean and peaceful. Had the breakfast first day and enjoyed it the second day I overslept and missed it. This is the second time I've stayed here and I will most likely return. I was given a room with a big balcony for which I was over the moon. That was great thank you.

The only thing I didn't like was the steep hill to the guest house. The shower is very tight so just washed in the sink. I have a health issue which makes climbing hills and stairs very difficult. That's not the fault of the guest house. If the property was situated at the bottom then I would most likely stay there every time.

Like the location, short walks to beaches & restaurants. Staff are friendly and helpful and do what they can to help with any issues. Breakfasts are decent, some times a little slow from the kitchen but new owners are doing their best. But still enjoyed our stay.

First room I was in had a very small shower cubicle, plus the pressure was non existent. Was able to move to a larger room with a larger shower cubicle but same issue which I'm told is going to be rectified at some point.

My wife and I can’t thank the proprietors enough for our stay, nothing seemed to much trouble for them, upon our arrival we was greeted with a splendid tour and shown the facilities of the hotel. We would like to give a 10 out of 10 for the breakfast which was absolutely delicious and amazing. If anyone would like a wonderful stay with every attention to detail and with you the customer at the forefront of your stay then the Cleve court hotel is a wonderful stay. Thank you once again and look forward to seeing you again soon.

Great B and B, v clean attractive place in the nicest part of Paignton. Friendly helpful staff. They let me access my room really late on check out day, so I could make the most of my last day and get another swim. But above all the breakfast is delicious. Great choices and beautifully cooked. Lovely spot a quiet part of town and a minute’s walk to the harbour and coast path.

Friendly staff always on hand to help or advise. Excellent breakfast and nothing too much trouble.

Only one problem which is partially beyond the control of the owners due to poor water pressure in this part of Paignton. Shower pressure is very poor. Will need major works to rectify.

I liked my room and the view on to the sea area. I liked the breakfasts. Lots of choice and no limit as to the mix of food on offer. Really good quality. Very polite and relaxed service.

My en-suite bathroom was a bit on the cramped side. I managed but it was quite chlosteraphobic. Showers were ok, but it was either really hot or then really cold. The combination adjuster was not perfect. Overall for me I coped.

Staff are very friendly, breakfast choice was excellent. Location was close to the town with (limited) parking. The rooms were comfortable with plenty of storage, coat hangers etc.

While toilet rolls, water and clean crockery were replaced in the room each day, the beds were unmade. An emergency telephone number listed in the hotel information would be helpful.
