While the room is on the top level of the house, that offers pristine seclusion. I very much enjoyed the lounge, which is perfect for getting work done or watching television. The host is kind and informative, and her dog is such a joy! She'll bark like mad when you arrive, but she's really just a sappy galoot.

I stayed for several days. The dishware is washed daily if you bring it down to the kitchen, but the breakfast pantry was not replenished throughout the stay, which made for some bland meals. It's altogether not a horrible thing, especially when the space is up so many flights of stairs, but just be aware for several-night stays.

The guest house owner was very helpful and chatty, gave me my keys and showed me the accommodation which comprised of bedroom and separate sitting room with a bathroom on the next floor down. Had a friendly dog who loves to be stroked and a continental breakfast available in the morning, which was available in your own living room. Which included microwave and fridge as well as dining table, TV and armchair.. I found it to be a very quiet location, and the accommodation was ideal, and I would not hesitate to visit again. Victorian townhouse was around 5 minute walk from the train station and only a couple more minutes extra to reach the town centre

There wasn’t anything that I disliked about the accommodation.

A perfect little comfortable space on the 3rd floor of a terraced property. The room was ample and west facing, was lovely to see the sun setting and the lounge just across the hallway, had all that was required for a short stay. There were a choice of cereals, croissant and fruit for breakfast and tea and coffee are available. Lorraine was lovely as was Maisie the dog and it was an ideal overnight base and very close to other amenities. Represented really good value compared to other options within the area.

Room exactly like image, excellent bed really comfy. Very quiet location. Also get use of a sitting room with microwave, small fridge, kettle and toaster. It was lovely to sit at a proper table to eat. Both rooms were very clean. Quiet location with a chippie and small tesco round the corner. Lorraine, the host is very friendly. This is a homestay, which is fine for me, so bathroom shared with host. It has a shower and a bath. It was also very clean. Rooms on top floor which I love but there are some quite narrow stairs to negotiate so it's don't book if you can't manage those. Easy to find, bus route at end of road, town centre minutes away. I would 100% stay again. It was excellent value

The house dog woke up before me! Other than that it was all fine. (She is not allowed upstairs by the way, the stairs have a baby gate on them so she can't sneak up).

Everything here was perfect :) I stayed for 3 weeks and had a brilliant stay! Lorraine was a great host and it was nice chatting to her about horses and stuff, it was also a great bonus to have Maisey her lovable cuddly doggy:) the house is in a perfect area close to centre of Banbury and bus and train station and also there are supermarkets and a nice pub and fish and chip shop within 3 minutes walk, my room and bed was very comfortable and cozy and I had great nights sleep every night, there is also a separate living area for guests to chill out watch TV (plenty of channels) and eat etc as there is a fridge microwave grill kettle and cutlery etc, WiFi was great and bathroom was big and comfortable also. Definitely recommend and hope to stay again in the future :)

This is one of the best Air BnB's I've stayed in. You get the top two rooms of the house, one living/dining room and one bedroom. I had a lovely wecome from Lorraine who also passed me a pack of lovely pancakes for breakfast! The living room had tea, coffee, milk, fruit, a tv, microwave, kettle, comfy chair, dining table etc. The bedroom was warm, had plenty of storage room and the double bed was super comfy. The shower/ bathroom is down one flight of stairs and the shower was excellent. There are some local pubs and fish shops (If interested ask Lorraine). A short walk or a fiver taxi ride gets you to the town centre whick has loads of pubs, restaraunts and other amenities. I can't recommend this booking enough. I've already booked 3 nights later in the year! Thanks a lot Lorraine. Gareth

Lorraine was very friendly and welcoming. The area on the top floor was in 2 parts, a kitchenette with TV and a bedroom. Overall it was good value for money.

I know this is probably picky, but the kettle and various other items were not clean and I felt unwilling to use some of the facilities. This may be a one off, and I realise it's a bit of a trek up some steep stairs to be doing regular cleaning. Maybe a deep clean would help.

The host was very helpful in enabling me to check-in later than planned. I certainly woke them up (very sorry again!) but their understanding and help was really appreciated. The bedroom and guest suite was wonderful, spacious, with everything I needed and more. I am only sorry I couldn't meet the host and Macey, perhaps another time!

The breakfast was welcome with cereal, fruit, etc. The bed was comfortable. It was nice to have plenty of space with the two rooms.

The rooms were a bit cold. A separate heater was provided but this stopped heating at quite a low temperature. Parking was a bit tricky, there was no parking outside the property so had to park further up the road.

I booked this for my hubby. He thought the space was great value for money. He loved the dog. It was good having the cooking facilities, fridge and kettle. Nice having a tv in the lounge.

He wished he had his screw driver with him to fix the door hinges. He felt really conscious that he would keep Lorraine awake with his snoring, as both doors didn't shut properly due to the hinges.
