The owner, Louise, welcomed us into her home, a delightful cottage dating back many centuries. We have were shown our room, a twin with every conceivable accessories, lovely fluffy towels, tea / coffee making facilities and multiple choices of tea and flavoured beverages, fresh milk, biscuit’s etc. Beds were furnished with duvets and counterpanes and two pillows. Lots of books and information all around. Louise has thought of everything you might possibly need for your stay. We were there for 5 nights. Breakfast was a gourmet treat, from a full British to a lighter meal there was everything you could wish for. Fresh fruit / juice, yoghurt, cereals, granola etc etc. Louise has much experience in the catering profession and it shows!

We found nothing to complain about. A wonderful break. We will return when in the area again.

Where to be begin! We were greeted with a warm welcome and a fresh cream tea. The twin room which we had booked was more than spacious and extremely comfortable. There were plenty of toiletries to choose from, and fresh towels. The morning breakfast was perfect, fresh fruit with a selection of cereals, some being homemade. Along with a cooked breakfast which was delicious. The location was perfect for what we needed as we were visiting surrounding villages. For us Tudor Cottage was exactly what we were looking for for our yearly visit to Dorset - we will definitely be looking to book here in the future.

We liked everything so nothing to add here

The breakfast was the best bnb food I've had. Home made jams, bread, granolas, compots, all superb. We couldn't have asked for more choice or attention. Louise was a lovely host and the location was perfect for the areas we wanted to see with plenty of local interest and walks. We only had to ask about local attractions and Loiuse was more than happy to help and very informative as well. It is a quintessentially English thatched cottage both inside and out. A delight to be welcomed into Louise's home.

I couldn't fault it in any way.

Louise was such a lovely host and looked after us very well. The breakfasts were abundant and delicious. The Cottage was beautiful, clean and so comfortable and welcoming. We even got a scrumptious afternoon tea upon arrival which completely filled us up! The location is great if you've got a car and can whizz around to different places. Louise also gave us recommendations on places to visit, where to eat etc. We would most definitely recommend coming here and I'll be back again for sure.

There genuinely wasn't anything i could fault.

Wonderful stay of 3 nights. We aren’t the first and no doubt the last to be treated to Louise’s generous hospitality. Her culinary and catering background show, as does her meticulous attention to detail. Towels, toiletries, every need accounted for and then some. As she warns, the cottage is small and the steps are steep but her decorating choices and touches are delightful. Be prepared for an amazing cream tea on arrival with cakes and jams, all home made. Breakfasts are equally generous and literally cooked to order. There is a nice 40 minute walk near the cottage, for dogs and people. Thank you Louise, too, for bending with our needs — after flustered arrival per dodgy GPS and heavy rain. Also for popping my soaked gloves into the dryer. 🙂

We had a wonderful stay with Louise, who is an excellent host. On our arrival we were welcomed with a delicious afternoon tea with cake and homemade scones. The breakfasts were amazing, with a choice of a cooked breakfast and/or all the cereal, granola and toast you could want. Our room was very comfortable, clean and had all the needed facilities and toiletries desired. Louise was happy to give helpful advice on places to visit and restaurant recommendations. The location is convenient for visiting anywhere in Dorset by car and we also ventured up to Glastonbury while there.

Nothing we didn't like, but there are some things that may mean it's not a suitable choice for everyone. There is a narrow winding stair to reach the bedrooms, which some may struggle with, and the location means it may not be the best choice for anyone relying on public transport to get around.

Very attentive and generous host. The breakfast was fantastic, both the food and the presentation. Louise even went out of her way to give us an excellent breakfast at 6.30am for an early departure. Wonderful old cottage, beautifully appointed. Comfortable room, generous provision of chocolates, coffee, tea etc. as well as rich assortment of bath soap, oils, lotions etc

Everything was perfect

The property is a beautiful thatched cottage and is full of character and interest. It is situated in the heart of Frampton which is a lovely village. It lies about 15 / 20 minutes by car from Dorchester and 30 minutes from Bridport.

The stairs are a little steep and tight. Not suitable for anyone with mobility challenges. The bathroom had everything but was a little small
