Everything about our stay was fantastic. Our room (Spey) was beautifully appointed, spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Theresa, the host, was lovely and ensured that we had everything we needed. She had even left delicious, home-made treats in our room to have with our tea and coffee (including a wee dram of whiskey for us to enjoy!!). Breakfast was faultless and perfectly cooked to our liking. To top it off, Theresa, makes her own jams and chutney from her abundant garden. We tasted some of her jams with our breakfast and they were absolutely wonderful - so much so, we had to buy a jar!! The location was central to Dufftown and close to all the local attractions. Dunvegan B&B was a very unexpected and enjoyable surprise and we would definitely recommend this B&B to anyone.

We didn't dislike anything.

Everything was great as Theresa makes sure her guests are satisfied. She is an exceptional host and person, with an open and fun personality. After chatting to her about some of the maintenance and effort she puts into it, it turned out the B&B is overall very sustainable, which is a big plus. The room was cozy, super clean, it had a TV, a kettle and lovely homemade cake, a hair drier (and if anything else was needed, Theresa was always happy to provide it). The bathroom was very clean too with everything someone might need. It was lovely there was breakfast, which we thoroughly enjoyed as well (some vegan options too :) ). The location was great for walks - we didn't know what a beautiful place Dufftown was.

Taxis were not very reliable unless pre-booked but that is nobody's fault really.

The room was bright and very clean. It had everything we needed including an offering of whiskey! Not to mention all that was required for tea when we arrived, including a little home baked treat. The breakfast was good, as ordered the night before. Theresa was welcoming and seemed passionate about her BnB which set a good tone from the outset. The quilt wasn't quite warm enough, but there was a nice big, wool blanket in the cupboard.

We would have enjoyed a slightly bigger room, with another chair and/or a bit of a desk, but there was a nice sitting room downstairs. As we were only there one night, we managed in the room.

A great accommodation choice in the heart of Dufftown. Everything was super-clean, the bathroom was literally 5 steps away from the room, comfortable beds, a nice view from the window, a nice welcome touch in the form of home-made cookies and a whisky dram, fresh still water, possibility to make a coffee/tea anytime, even a DVD with some selection in the 'lobby'. The breakfasts were great and on time. There basically isn't a single thing I could point out that was a disappointment.

Dufftown is a small town and the choice for dining wasn't great. It may be better in high season but we were basically down to Indian and Chinese food (visited in May). I think the only place in Scotland we run into where cards were not accepted in a restaurant!

Theresa was a wonderful host, very fun and accommodating. The room had tea and coffee, and there was a lovely dram of scotch in the room! Great location for visiting Speyside distilleries and countryside. The private bathroom was external, but it was large and well appointed.

The B&B was wonderful, but the town had few options for dinner- several only served breakfast and lunch.

Beautiful room, private furniture and everything to feel at home the very first second: the landlady is a very nice person and keeps her house neat & tidy - with self-cooked marmelades and jams: fatastic! The breakfsat ist just great and we have missed nothing! Unfortunately we've spent just one night - next time we'll arrange for e few more days. Many thanks for all!

The Dunvegan B&B is fantastic and Dufftown is neat & clean, just the bar at the "Commercial Hotel" has been "very local" and there are almost no alternative pubs around.

The warm welcome from Theresa into her beautiful home was very much appreciated. Our room was very bright, clean, comfortable and well-decorated. A few surprises awaited us - a lovely taste of scotch and delicious sweet treats made by Theresa herself. Theresa offers a variety of choices for breakfast which was very good. We are so happy to have chosen Dunvegan Bed & Breakfast.

Great attention to detail, friendly and considerate staff going beyond expectations. Breakfast can be customised in detail on the menu to avoid food wastage. All food was of high quality including homemade preserves. Extensive hot drink selection provided in room, a decanter of complementary whisky, home baking and even a small drinks fridge. Room/bed cozy and comfortable. All in all amazing value for money compared to hotel chains.

Nothing. This is my third stay in Dufftown and proved much better than the two places I stayed previously. Will return on future trips whenever Dunvegan has a room available.

Owner Theresa was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very good. Bed very comfortable and room spotless. Location was excellent for whisky exploration.

Shower was a little small but did work well. Dufftown centre is a little depressing post COVID, with so many businesses closed and for sale. The whisky companies need to get together and help out the town.

Absoultely lovely B&B. Host Theresa is delightful and breakfast was delicious! Everything was comfy and clean and a great location to get to our distillery tours.

No negative comments. We booked a little late so we had to choose the room with two twin beds. Next time will book earlier to get a double bed.
